Gregory Cooper5 said:Hey everyone,
I’m looking to print out some flag pictures from the web for my kid, but I am hitting a total brick wall trying to find a decent site to actually 'download' them from... I’ve messed around with all sorts of Google filters, but it’s just endless pages of tiny thumbnails, low-res scraps of posters, or just random bits and pieces of flags. What I’m really after is something more substantial—like a decent-sized, full-color A3 poster that actually includes the names of the countries.

Does anyone happen to have something like this tucked away in their files they could send over, or maybe you could point me toward a reliable website? Honestly, I thought this would be a total piece of cake, but I’m starting to feel a little bit frustrated 🤦 🙂 so I’m reaching out everywhere I can for a hand... thanks! 🙏

Sure, I could always just head down to a local store like Staples or Target, but I’m not quite ready to throw in the towel just yet. 🙂

Just repeating my request here in case it slipped past anyone—if you've got a solution, let me know!

WOW, 15 days?! Major respect there.

Would you mind sharing more about what that was actually like? I'd love to hear some more details... and if you have any book recommendations or specific websites you follow to learn more, please send them my way!

From what I’ve been reading, a ton of people dive into fasting even if they don't have any underlying health issues or weight concerns. They claim it just makes them feel better overall—both physically and mentally—and they rave about the benefits.
The real question for me, though, is the logistics: how do people actually prep for it, deal with those inevitable energy crashes, and just "survive" the process? That’s the part I’m actually curious about...

I’m not talking about fasting strictly for weight loss here. I've seen plenty of discussions on here about the dreaded yo-yo effect, which can happen to anyone. It even happens to pro athletes who are just trying to drop a couple of pounds to hit a specific weight class before a big competition..

Hey there,

I couldn't find another thread or anything similar discussing this specific topic, so I figured I'd just kick off a discussion right here. My feed is absolutely flooded with ads, catchy headlines, "wellness" guidelines, and all these trending stories about fasting... but honestly, none of that is what I'm looking for. What I actually want to dig into is the real-world benefits, the actual prep work involved, and people's genuine experiences with it.
Lately, I've been experimenting with shorter windows—like following the moon cycle or trying out the 16:8 method (which some people definitely count as fasting), but I’m really interested in stepping things up and attempting a full 2-3 day fast, or maybe even longer.

For me, this isn't about jumping on some bandwagon or doing what's "cool" right now. I want to actually educate myself on the science behind it first, and then move toward trying those multi-day fasts every once in a while, or whatever the standard recommendation is.

I'd love to hear what you guys think! Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences, advice, and thoughts.
I’ve been really curious about the whole Tonalin / Saffron thing lately, so I wanted to jump back into this conversation that was started ages ago. I actually stopped by a local health food store recently, and the herbalist there suggested I give Tonalin a shot—specifically recommending that I take it right before my meals. That got me thinking... does anyone here have actual experience using Tonalin? I'd love to know how you guys incorporate it into your routine and if you've found any specific timing works best. For instance, is there any point in taking it before a workout, or does it really only show its strength when taken before eating?

If you have any personal stories or even just a bit of advice to share, please do!
Thanks so much!

Sleeping on the floor: worth it or not? in Health ·
Hey there,
I’ve been dealing with some pretty intense back issues lately—actually, they're still hanging on—so I was prescribed some Advil and Motrin. The pain was centered in my lower back and just shot right down through my glutes and into my legs. It got to the point where even just standing up or moving around felt like a massive chore. Things have improved a bit after an injection and taking the meds, though. On top of all that, I ended up sleeping on the floor for two nights straight. I tried lying on my back, but honestly, every little movement was excruciating. Strangely enough, I actually felt a little better by the morning. My body is incredibly sensitive and hasn't had a "workout" in a while, so being stuck on the hard floor felt like someone was literally beating me up in the hips and glutes...

Look, I'm fine with it—I'm a tough guy and I can handle the discomfort, so I'm actually thinking about sticking with this routine. But here's my question: if you're sleeping on the floor, does it matter if you sleep on your stomach or your back? Is the whole benefit just coming from the hard surface itself, or is the specific position actually crucial? I'm assuming sleeping on my back is the way to go, right? 🤔

Does anyone actually have a recommendation for someone on Runjanin Street? Looking for a family doctor...
Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
I’m looking for some solid recommendations for a GP around Runjanin Street. I’d much prefer someone in that immediate area rather than over on New Road, mostly because I work right near Runjanin and it would be way more convenient. 😉 To be honest, I’m not exactly a frequent flyer at the doctor's office, but I want to make sure that if—God forbid—I do need something, I have someone reliable who won't make a huge production out of the basics, like handling prescriptions, referrals, or medical excuses. Ideally, I’d love to find someone middle-aged; I’m really looking for someone I can stick with for the next 10 to 15 years. Once a great doctor retires, finding a good replacement is always such a headache, so I’d love to get this settled and not have to worry about it again for a long time.

Dell Inspiron: GPU and hard drive issues in Laptops ·
The repair shop is telling me my laptop has issues with both the motherboard and the integrated graphics chip. To make matters worse, they don’t even have the parts in stock, but if they did, they're looking at $2,400 plus tax. It feels like I'm just banging my head against a brick wall here. I really should have brought it in for a warranty claim during those first few days when I noticed those tiny, almost invisible horizontal lines—kind of like a flickering effect. It might be related to this current mess, but even if it isn't, it's pretty suspicious how these blatant white lines started popping up right after the warranty expired. Just great. 🙂

Thanks for getting back to me! So, here’s the deal: I reached out to a data recovery specialist—they’re basically pros at rescuing files from dead drives. At first, they were just checking if I had any backups ready to go, but then the drive actually crapped out on me right then and there. I’m planning to call them up to walk through their quote and explain what happened. Honestly, trying to explain technical failures over the phone is a nightmare since I'm definitely not an expert; I couldn't quite wrap my head around exactly what went wrong with the hardware, even though I could tell something was definitely broken because it's been slowing my entire workflow to a crawl.
The specs on this laptop are actually really solid, and since the graphics card is swappable, you won't be stuck with outdated hardware forever—it’s super easy to just grab a new one and swap it out. All that for around $2,000, plus you get a decent SSD included. $133I remember when I first picked up this laptop—it cost me a cool $7,500 back then. And honestly? It’s a bit much that repair shops are out here charging extra just to blow out the dust and swap out the thermal paste. $60And let's not even get started on the backup costs—it’s just as steep. I really hope all this extra spending actually pays off, because man, the price tag on this is oho-ho.

I can touch base in a few days once I actually have an offer in hand. If you guys have some free time and feel like weighing in, I’m totally open to hearing your thoughts! Feel free to shoot me a DM or just post them here if you want to give me a second opinion on the address.
Dell Inspiron: GPU and hard drive issues in Laptops ·
Back at the end of 2013, I picked up a Dell Inspiron. Even though I haven't exactly been pushing it to its limits—I only play light games once in a while, maybe even just for a week straight every month or so—the repair shop told me both the hard drive and the graphics card have kicked the bucket. They're claiming it’s not even worth fixing. Does anyone know if this kind of damage is covered under warranty, or is there any way to file a claim through an authorized dealer or directly with the manufacturer? I didn't get any extended coverage back then, and I'm honestly not sure if it's even possible to add it now!
The device actually has a replaceable graphics card.
Why on earth do these kinds of failures happen in the first place, and does it actually make sense to spend the money on a repair?
Thanks to all the experts out there for the help!

Robin Rodriguez5 said:Did you really have to start a whole new thread for this, especially when the last reply was posted ten years ago? 🙄

Well, yeah! There are hardly any posts on this topic at all, and honestly, even Google isn't giving me anything useful here. Besides, you know how it goes—everything that was cool once eventually makes a comeback, so sometimes old threads just need a little life breathed back into them. ☕

Does anyone happen to know if there are any other newspaper delivery companies operating within the US, and if so, which ones? Thanks!
Scuba Diving in Other Sports ·
Hey everyone! I'm getting ready to take my very first diving course, and I'm starting to get really excited about it. I was thinking it might be nice to find a smaller, more laid-back spot somewhere along the coast—maybe somewhere like Key West or a similar quiet coastal town—rather than a huge tourist hub. Ideally, I'd love to find a dive school that offers some budget-friendly accommodation options as part of their training package. Does anyone have any personal recommendations? Besides just scrolling through Google, is there anyone specific I should reach out to or any particular schools you've had great experiences with?
thanks!
Printer installation - need drivers in Hardware ·
Yeah, you're right, it’s definitely not as straightforward as it looks. I've been running into some annoying glitches with these drivers, which is exactly why I decided to reach out here and see if anyone could help me out... thanks anyway, I guess I'll have to go back to the drawing board. :/
Printer installation - need drivers in Hardware ·
Hey there,
I’ve been going in circles trying to track down the right drivers—basically the installation files—for my printer. I'm looking specifically for an HP LaserJet 6 L for Windows XP, but I just can't seem to land on the correct version no matter how hard I look. If anyone happens to have the files handy or could point me toward a solid link or some quick instructions... honestly, if you could just drop a link, you'd be a lifesaver! I would truly appreciate the help!!🙂

I'm going to end up thinking I'm some kind of big shot if all of this is actually because of me 👍

On the thread over at , Skylar is out here basically running an ad for that book... I mean, they're straight-up selling it, but you can't even tell! Seriously, give me a break!
