Traffic violation procedures in Criminal and Misdemeanor Law ·

Thanks,
I’ve been lurking in this thread for a bit, but I honestly didn't actually dig into these instructions until just now.🙂

Hey guys,🙏 quick question for you all—if a ruling has already been handed down and it explicitly states that xy is the one at fault (meaning they’ve already appeared in court and given their testimony to the judge), is there actually any point in filing an appeal?
Does this mean the statute of limitations can't kick in anymore, since the sentence has already been passed?🤷😕>
thanks

What if we went with a different flavor for every single layer? That would be my idea, anyway...

I'm kind of digging that second one, honestly, it looks pretty killer👍

As for Vince, I actually prefer his spot over on Masaryk than the one on Ilica Street.😉

That looks like a beautiful cake. I’ll probably end up getting something just like that myself.😍

What's the breakdown on your end for dry versus creamy? Around here, the dry ones are sitting at about 40-$17 while the creamy versions go for 60-$23. Is that actually cheap or am I totally overpaying? Honestly, I haven't got a clue what the standard pricing looks like for this stuff

Wait, I’ve got one more quick question for you guys—does the statute of limitations start ticking from the actual day the violation happened (back in June 2007) or does it count from the moment that official notice was issued (December 2007)?

Alright, fine. My point was just trying to figure out if an appeal actually carries any weight once they've already handed down a guilty verdict. That's all I was getting at.🤷

Look, not every situation plays out the same way, you know? Is it really that much to ask for some actual advice here? If you're just gonna say thanks and leave it at that, then whatever, don't bother.

So, is anyone actually gonna weigh in here? Does nobody have any advice at all??

Alright, I’ve gotta throw a question out there too. My nephew—he was about 17 last year (back in 2006)—got pulled over by the cops while he was heading home. When they stopped us (I was riding along with him), he refused the breathalyzer because the officers were being such absolute losers and acting incredibly rude👎. They had their sirens flashing like we were some high-level criminals, and he didn't sign a single thing. He kept asking them to just let him go for a blood test instead, but they acted like we weren't even there, just completely ignored us, wrote up the ticket, and dipped without saying a word👎. Look, I'm not saying he hadn't had a few drinks, but it wasn't like he was wasted or anything, yet when we begged for a blood draw, they wouldn't budge. A few days later, we went straight to a judge we know personally, where he gave his statement. She ended up handing down a ruling finding him guilty, giving him a six-month license suspension, 5 points on his record, and $1000 in fines. Seriously, it's way too much; he doesn't have the money for this. That ruling came through in December 2006, so we filed an appeal and now we're just sitting around waiting.🤷 In our appeal, we asked if they could at least lower the fine, but we didn't even mention the license. Now we're regretting going to that judge right away; honestly, it might have been better to wait, but we just sped the whole process up. I don't really get how these legal things work, so what do you guys think he can expect? Is there any chance this will just hit the statute of limitations?😕
Should we keep filing appeals? I don't even know...

I know people are gonna jump down my throat saying we should've known better, but we seriously had no clue🤷 that the law was this brutal for anyone who refuses the breathalyzer. If we'd known, he definitely would've just blown into the machine..
Please, if anyone can give us some advice, I'd appreciate it...🙂

Look, honestly? The stress from dealing with an infection—and maybe even some vaginal issues on top of that—could totally be intense enough to throw your whole cycle out of whack and cause an anovulatory period. It’s a real thing. But seriously, don't just sit there guessing. Go talk to your doctor and go ahead and take a pregnancy test. Who knows? You might actually be pregnant. 🙂

I honestly can't believe I'm pregnant. I mean, I started using tampons right after my period ended—or at least I think I did, since I definitely had my period first. Everything feels like a complete blur.
Honestly, I’m leaning towards thinking this is all just stress from using those vaginal suppositories. I've been overthinking everything lately, and if I'm being totally real, I don't even enjoy putting them in—even though I guess I've gotten used to the routine a little bit.🙂
I’m gonna give my doctor a call and see if she can tell me if I’m actually dying or if it's nothing... hopefully it's just nothing.

So, I’m actually looking for some insight regarding ovulation...
About a month ago, I took a pregnancy test and ended up dealing with some kind of infection. My OB-GYN prescribed some Betadine suppositories to clear it up. Honestly, this was my first time ever having to use anything like that—I've never had an infection before, so it was all pretty new to me.
My cycle is usually super predictable (every 28 days), and my ovulation follows suit perfectly. Ever since I started tracking, it hasn't missed a single beat. Everything has been totally on track until this month. Now that I've started using those suppositories, it looks like I skipped ovulation entirely. This is a huge deal for me because I'm actively trying to get pregnant right now.😕
Does anyone know if there's any actual link between those meds and messing with ovulation? I've read online that it's possible to just skip an ovulation cycle once in a while, but I can't help feeling anxious about it...😢
Anyone have any info....
