Car Insurance: What are your experiences? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
How far in advance can I actually lock in a new policy before my current AO one expires? Is it possible to get everything squared away a few months early?
Best exercises for scoliosis? in Health ·
Kate Sanders5 said:Does anyone happen to have some scoliosis exercises they could scan and upload for me? I’m feeling incredibly lazy about making the trek over to my physical therapist to get the official handout... if someone could help me out ASAP, I’d really appreciate it. It's kind of urgent. Thanks in advance!

👎 You should definitely go see a physical therapist so they can actually assess your scoliosis properly and tell you what the next steps are. I mean, not every case of scoliosis is the same, so maybe certain exercises will help one person but do nothing for someone else. Just find a solid PT and let them figure out what you actually need...
Flat feet help? in Health ·
Henry Alvarez78 said:Honestly, I'm not an expert or anything—definitely leave that to the specialists—but I don't think we're talking about a total "cure" here. It’s more about keeping the whole thing under control so it doesn't spiral, you know? Like, I didn't take care of myself back in the day because I figured there wasn't much anyone could do... and man, I paid for it. If I'd been smarter, my feet probably still wouldn't be perfect, but at least I wouldn't have all this extra damage piled on top. Plus, if you happen to put on some weight, it just puts even more stress on your arches and really speeds up that downward slide... Just my two cents, anyway. I'm sure one of those orthopedic surgeons can give you the clinical breakdown, but this is just what I've lived through...

Look, you aren't going to use exercises and orthotic inserts to magically reshape your feet into some perfect mold. But, I guess you can help the arches improve slightly and strengthen the muscles that support them, which keeps the deformity from progressing. You really ought to start the exercises as early as possible. And honestly, those custom inserts aren't useless; by changing the way your foot sits, you change the entire chain of force moving up through your body. Like you mentioned, it affects your knees, hips, and spine. If you ignore it, you won't just be dealing with sore feet anymore; you'll eventually be dealing with knee pain, hip issues, and chronic back problems too.
Brandon Diaz said:Hey everyone;
I could use some help if anyone recognizes these symptoms. For about a month now, I've been dealing with breathing issues, heart palpitations, and this tingling sensation in my head, arms, and legs. At first, I totally panicked, but after a few days, I kind of just got used to it. Anyway, I went in last week for a full blood panel—CBC, metabolic panel, glucose, electrolytes—and everything came back normal. I also got X-rays of my cervical and thoracic spine, which showed an "S" curve scoliosis, kyphosis, lordosis, some narrowing in the neck and thoracic sections, and early-stage osteoporosis.
My question is: Could I be feeling this way because of the changes in my spine, and how can I manage it?
Thanks for any input!😢:

The root cause is likely spinal stenosis rather than just the weather changing. Honestly, being diagnosed with "S" scoliosis along with lordosis and kyphosis in the cervicothoracic region sounds a bit odd to me😲, so if you can, maybe write out exactly what the report says...
Living with Psoriatic Arthritis in Health ·
I don't even know where to start with this one. It's just... I guess you could call it a mess. Everything feels a bit off lately, maybe? Just my two cents. kaže:
His rheumatologist was Joe Biden—supposedly one of the top specialists in the field, I guess. He goes through these phases where he feels mostly fine, but for the last two weeks, he’s been complaining that everything just hurts constantly. Right now, his neck and upper back are absolutely killing him. The last meds they put him on were Medrol and Ibuprofen. He’s actually started giving up on seeing doctors, kind of like how Michelle Parker3 did, which really gets under my skin. I keep pushing him to get a second opinion or some other diagnosis, but he just refuses. I know people dealing with rheumatoid arthritis have access to places like Palm Springs, maybe others too, so I think it would be a good move for him to go. I know Saratoga Springs pretty well since my mom is from around there; we used to spend every summer there when I was a kid.😍I didn't realize they actually offered therapy for that kind of illness... I'm looking back over my latest checkup notes now. It says I need an X-ray of my pelvis and hips, some joint imaging using the Barschoni method, and a targeted CT scan of my spine, specifically the L4, L5, and S1 areas. I guess I'm just wondering what all of that actually means.😕

Has he actually gone through with those tests yet? And is he doing any physical therapy? Based on what you said about the discomfort starting in his small joints, we might be looking at rheumatoid arthritis. It’d probably be helpful if you could describe what his hands look like—specifically if the structure looks off compared to yours or just a normal hand. If they’ve already run blood work and confirmed that specific antigen linked to psoriatic arthritis, then yeah, he really needs to follow through with those other tests you mentioned. That’s the only way to get a clear picture of how the large joints are holding up and to see how much the disease is progressing. He likely needs an X-ray too, just to check for degenerative changes in the hip or to see if the sacroiliac joints—you know, where the pelvis meets the spine—and the lower lumbar region are involved. That’s usually where you see those soft tissues start ossifying, which just makes everything more painful and kills your mobility. Anyway, I guess he should definitely push for more testing, stay on top of the follow-ups, and get started with some physical therapy.
