My current process is a bit of a cumbersome workaround—I tend to hit Quote, copy the entire block, strip out the parts I don't need, write my response, then paste the whole thing back in just to prune it again, and repeat the cycle indefinitely.
I usually handle this through a much more convoluted process—I hit Quote, copy the entire block,
Work for you?
strip out the parts I don't need, write my reply, then paste the whole mess back in, delete the clutter, answer, and repeat the cycle indefinitely...

Got it?
works

Once you've tagged them all, just click the regular Quote button on that final post. Everything should automatically wrap itself in those quote tags, giving you the freedom to clean up any fluff, bold the parts that actually matter, or slide your own commentary in between the blocks of text. It's pretty straightforward, really.
Edward Fox72 said:So, I'm 20. A couple of days ago I was riding the bus and I’m pretty sure I picked up some kind of bug, and 🙂 to make a long story short... 😢 This might sound totally ridiculous to you guys, but I literally cannot sneeze. It's actually stressing me out because my friend told me that if you don't force a sneeze when you're sick, all that air you're supposed to be pushing out just gets forced back into your lungs and can cause some kind of infection 😲 so now I'm wondering if there's any actual truth to that? Also, I've been dealing with this weird, unbearable stomach pain lately, so if anyone could just, like, list out the symptoms for cancer or tumors—or am I just pregnant? 🤔 Do I seriously need to go see a doctor 😢, and one last thing: what's the best tea for the flu? 🙄 please help, literally any advice would be huge ☕
Look, this probably isn't the right venue for a thread like this... maybe it would be better suited for the alternative subforum, but let's just wait and see what the moderators have to say about it. 🙂
I was actually just about to start a whole new thread because, wouldn't you know it, I'm running into this exact same issue myself. Take a look at this: 😁 http://tinypic.com/r/14jutll/5
Laura Brooks77 said:I run into this issue too, though it isn't constant. What on earth does checking remember me have to do with anything if the glitch happens sporadically even when I never bother to select remember me in the first place? 🤔
It actually makes a difference... lately, I’ve just been hitting that > box every single time and suddenly my login issues have completely vanished.
Can I at least get access to K@s0? I’m honestly losing my mind over this whole "17" thing... I signed up back when I was actually 17 years old. Anyway, looking through the member list, I don't see anyone listed as K@s0, Kaso, or even K@s0. So, seriously, what's the actual issue here?
Here is the situation: I am logged into the forum just browsing—not even active, not posting anything, just reading—and within thirty seconds, I get kicked out. It just says I’m not logged in. What on earth? Or, if I try to reply to a post while logged out, naturally it asks me to sign in. So, I write my response, hit send, and once again, it tells me I need to log in first. Seriously? To put it simply, the forum keeps logging me out automatically. Now, where is the actual issue here? Is this whole mess tied to those database errors we've been seeing and the fact that the forum keeps freezing up? EDIT->And now it's happening again. I was logged in, went to start a new thread, and it's asking me to log in yet again. And I haven't even been on here for two minutes... lol
I just finished setting up AdBlock on my Chrome browser, and honestly, it’s a total game changer—this Reddit page is finally flying along like it’s supposed to 😁
I have a quick question I’ve just hit 18, which means I'll be turning 19 in about 3 or 4 months Since I’m still in school—I've got about 4 years left here— Do I actually need to worry about getting supplemental insurance or some specific coverage? I'm still finishing up my schooling and eventually planning on heading off to college, so I'm wondering what kind of paperwork I should be looking into or getting sorted out right now. Thanks
So, this guy claimed that after just one month of using that tonic, his stomach issues completely vanished—and apparently, they haven't come back even three years later. Now, I’m sitting here wondering if that's actually realistic when you're taking the supplement you all keep recommending 🙂
vividsailor7 said:It’s more about the psychological aspect during a gastroscopy. If you're dealing with nausea or pain, you might want to try taking some Pepto-Bismol.
Honestly, I’ve never really had stomach issues before... just the occasional bouts of nausea depending on what I eat. If it's heavy stuff, I feel it; if it's light, I'm fine. Right now, though, I'm paying the price because I just demolished a massive deli platter—sausage, cured ham, cheese, the works. I know I shouldn't have, but I couldn't help myself.😁 I suppose I'll give that Pepto-Bismol a shot, but I think I'll try my grandmother's old herbal remedy first.😁
vividsailor7 said:I honestly don't get why everyone acts like getting a gastroscopy is such a nightmare.🤷 It’s just a quick procedure, nothing more. Besides, your primary care physician can handle the referral. That blood you're worried about? You can't even see it with the naked eye. The workup would typically involve checking your lipids, T3, T4, TSH, and CRP via a blood draw, along with a fecal occult blood test. Once those results are in, you'd ideally visit a gastroenterologist, and you'd head in for the scope based on their recommendation.
Look, it’s partly because the mere thought of someone shoving something down my throat makes me nauseous—and yeah, I'll admit, I'm pretty squeamish. Plus, I’ve heard horror stories from others, especially regarding general hospitals... honestly, the staff at our local hospital in Indianapolis are total butchers, so I’m terrified. Get outta here! Anyway, since I just turned 18, I have to go sort out my supplemental insurance this Monday. I might try sticking to some herbal remedies first to see if they help, but if they don't, I guess I'll have to face the doctor. I'm already dreading it, though; I don't even know what to say to him when he starts lecturing me again, acting like he knows everything.😁
vividsailor7 said:You really need to get a gastroscopy, a fecal occult blood test, and maybe check your thyroid hormones too.
Look, I understand the logic here, but this whole gastroscopy idea is absolutely terrifying to me. Honestly, I’d probably have a heart attack right there on the table from pure anxiety. I can barely handle even a little bit of indigestion, so I can't imagine what happens when they start shoving a tube down my throat. Lord, help me.😢,, And regarding those thyroid hormone tests—is that a specific kind of blood work? Can my primary care physician just order that for me? Also, for the record, I've never actually seen any blood in my stool.
vividsailor7 said:Just because you don't have H. pylori—and I see you even went so far as getting bloodwork done to confirm that—doesn't actually mean anything at all, especially when it comes to explaining why you're so thin.
So, if that's ruled out, what else could possibly be causing this weight issue?
My doctor kept pushing me to get a gastroscopy, but I’ll be honest—I was dodging it because the whole idea absolutely terrifies me. Instead, he ordered some blood work to check for that H. pylori bacteria, and thankfully, it came back negative. After that blood draw, I actually tried to get my life together and follow some strict health guidelines. I quit smoking entirely, cut out coffee completely, stuck to a disciplined diet, and everything seemed fine. The only hiccup was that if I overindulged in anything particularly spicy, I’d deal with a bit of acid reflux. Naturally, I eventually slipped up, started smoking and drinking caffeine again, and those symptoms started creeping back. Now, I’ve cut them out once more and I’m barely using any nicotine at all. As for alcohol? I don't touch it; I'm strictly sober. 🙂 I suspect that constant, high-level stress is probably the real culprit behind everything here. I've also noticed a pattern where my stomach issues tend to flare up whenever I catch a cold during this winter season. On the subject of nutrition, I have a question: what should I be eating to put on a little weight healthily without irritating my stomach?
I’m honestly at a loss for where to even begin with this. I just turned 18, and frankly, I’m quite thin—we’re talking maybe 123–125 lbs at 6 feet tall. I realize that’s probably underweight for someone my age, but I can't help feeling like there's something wrong. Being young, I tend to spiral into these irrational anxieties; I constantly find myself looking at the world through a lens of pure pessimism. I’m perpetually convinced that I’m falling ill or that something catastrophic is happening. Everything shifted for me about two years ago, and it all traces back to some stomach issues I started having. It began with about a week of constant nausea, and once that subsided, I was left with this lingering, burning sensation—just excessive stomach acid that I have to manage with Tums whenever the nausea kicks back in. Since that period, I haven't been the same person. I’ve become incredibly anxious; the moment I see someone else struggling with an illness, I completely lose my composure. I don't understand why this change happened so abruptly. Also, ever since those symptoms started, I’ve developed a massive phobia of vomiting, which has made me incredibly squeamish. I was always lean before, sure, but I didn't deal with these fears. I used to be what I’d call "unshakeable." If I caught a cold or felt under the weather, I wouldn't even bother seeing a doctor or taking aspirin; I’d just deal with it. Now? The second I feel a slight symptom, I’m heading straight to the clinic. In the worst cases, I've ended up in the ER simply because I convinced myself I was dying. Usually, the doctor on duty just gives me some Xanax because my heart is racing so fast on the EKG, telling me to stop stressing about my heart and just live my life. My question is simple: how do I conquer these fears and get back to being the person I was three years ago? And more importantly, how do I put on some weight? It’s mentally exhausting when people constantly comment on how skinny I am. :S Thanks in advance...
