Sometimes, after a heavy meal, I even start sneezing uncontrollably.
I did a little digging on Google, and apparently, heartburn—or GERD—can actually cause respiratory issues.
Is anyone else dealing with something similar?😉

I realize this thread is ancient, but frankly, who cares? I’m going through the exact same thing. Every single time I lie down—whether I'm heading to bed or just crashing on the sofa—it happens. It feels like my breathing just stops for a split second. It absolutely terrifies me; my heart starts racing, and honestly, it’s a total disaster. Luckily, it doesn't happen constantly—maybe seven or eight times a month—but still, it's unsettling. I also struggle with heartburn, or at least that's my best guess. It isn't a daily occurrence, so I can't be entirely certain. But for the last three days, it has been relentless. First, I had these warm ham and cheese sandwiches, and immediately afterward, I felt like I had a literal stone sitting in my stomach, accompanied by burping and bloating. Then yesterday, I ate a greasy cheese pastry (something I eat almost every day without any issues usually), and things went south fast. Shortly after, I started feeling intense pain in my esophagus, my throat, and my stomach. Just constant burping with agonizing pain traveling from my throat down to my stomach and back up, plus acid reflux and this overwhelming nausea. Things seemed to settle down once I got home and lay down, but the moment I moved or tried to stand up, the pain flared right back up. I drank some Coke and took some Pepto-Bismol. Today seems okay. However, I felt a sort of lump right under my breastbone. I have no idea if that’s connected to all this misery. If anyone has any advice, I would be incredibly grateful!
I’m dealing with this exact same headache. For the longest time, I didn't even have a clue what was actually happening to me, until I stumbled upon an article online. Now that I've done some digging, it's become glaringly obvious that there are plenty of us out there struggling with this same issue.

I’ve been doing some reading lately and thought perhaps some of you might be able to offer me a bit of guidance. I have a few questions weighing on my mind.

I’ve been trying to conceive for about six months now—sorry, I should say it’s actually been longer than that—but so far, nothing. My period is consistently late, usually by anywhere from ten days to two full weeks. I’ve spent quite a bit of money on pregnancy tests, only to be met with a negative result every single time.

Right now, I am exactly two weeks late again. Honestly, I’m hesitant to even take a test because I’m so afraid of another disappointment. Usually, my breasts get incredibly tender right before my period arrives, but this time, I haven't felt that at all. A few days ago, I noticed a tiny bit of spotting—just a few drops of blood—and I thought, "Okay, here we go, my period is finally starting," but then nothing happened. Beyond that, I haven't noticed any other physical changes.

Last month, I went to see my OB-GYN, and she told me everything looks healthy. My Pap smear results were perfect, too. The only thing noted was a small, clear cyst on my right ovary that sits just outside the ovary itself. She said it doesn't require surgery and that I shouldn't worry about it one bit.

On another note, I experience vaginal discharge pretty much constantly. Is that something pregnant women deal with as well?
Also, does the volume of semen play a role in conception? My husband produces very little; especially during my ovulation window when we are trying every day, there is hardly anything left—maybe just a tiny teaspoon's worth.

If anyone has any advice or insight, please let me know!

Thank you so much, and best wishes to you all.🙂

I recently attended a pre-marital counseling seminar, and the doctor there mentioned that the fertile window lasts only about 12 hours. Since there are infertile, relatively fertile, and highly fertile days, she suggested some couples shouldn't even bother having sex until it is absolutely the peak fertile day. Apparently, the best indicator is your discharge; you can use that to track when you're actually fertile.
