The transfer window madness never ends in Fans ·
It feels like every single week there's a new "shock" deal or a sudden U-turn that changes everything. I honestly can't keep up with the constant rumors and the way these massive moves seem to happen overnight. Do you guys actually enjoy the chaos of the transfer season, or is it just exhausting?
Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
I've decided to just take a real break from everything and see where the chips fall. Honestly, it feels like a better move than just keeping down these pills if there's a chance I'm already pregnant. I guess I'll just have to wait two days and see what happens...

So, here’s the deal... I’ve been on birth control for over ten years now, and for the first time ever, I’ve reached the end of a pack only to realize I missed a pill somewhere along the line. The kicker? I have absolutely zero clue when it happened. It could have been during the first week, the second, or the third... I just don't remember.
I’m honestly spiraling a bit right now, trying to figure out my next move. There's a chance I might have just forgotten the very last pill yesterday, but even that isn't a hundred percent certain...
What would you guys do if you were in my shoes? Would you just wait for a normal period, or would you go ahead and start the next pack immediately without any break?
Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
So, I went to see my OB-GYN to get some bloodwork done after being on Yasmin for several years straight (I’m on a break from them right now). I finally got the results back, and from what I can gather on my own, my blood sugar and cholesterol levels are both elevated. When I brought the report to him, he just brushed it off, telling me everything looked fine, nothing to worry about, and sent me on my way. Honestly, it felt like he didn't even want to talk about it. I’m heading to my primary care doctor today to get a second opinion because he left me with zero explanations, and now I'm looking at these numbers thinking, "Wait, could this actually be from the pills?" Has anyone else dealt with something like this before?

Honestly, I’ve got the same issue with my curves, and it drives me absolutely nuts, but this is just how I’m built—it’s not changing anytime soon. Even back when I was skinny as a rail, those cellulite dimples were there, and even after finally gaining those "goal" pounds, the texture didn't budge. The worst part is that because of my shape, my waist always looks wider than it actually is. I know I can't really slim down my waistline much further since you can't lose weight from your bone structure, so I eventually just decided to stop obsessing over it. Now, I just focus on staying fit and making sure my midsection doesn't get too soft, and honestly? That’s enough for me.
The great thing about the gastric balloon is that you actually can’t just gorge yourself on whatever you want. My friend learned that the hard way; she kept trying to force food down when her body was clearly saying "no thanks," and it was a miserable experience. She honestly thought she didn't need to change a single habit because the balloon would do all the heavy lifting for her. But let's be real—there are no magic bullets or easy ways out of anything in this life.
I wish you all the best of luck with your weight loss journeys, and I really hope you don't fall into the same trap she did, either with her diet or her general outlook on life.
A friend of mine did this back in Cleveland last year, and if I recall correctly, she shelled out about $6667 for the whole thing. She was constantly feeling miserable and nauseous—I guess you just can't eat like you used to anymore, so your body needs time to catch up. Anyway, the balloon actually ruptured while they were deflating her stomach at the hospital (it's a long story), and then, because she’s such an idiot, she refused to go back in to have the balloon removed because she hadn't even lost enough weight yet. She was terrified of how the doctors would react. Eventually, she finally bit the bullet once she realized how dangerous it was to leave it in there. Honestly, it felt like she just threw all that money straight down the drain...
All that glitters isn't gold / Fool's Gold in Movies ·
I wasn't exactly blown away by it. Between work and everything else piling up, I haven't even managed to sit down for the last five minutes of the movie, and honestly, I've been putting off finishing it for a month now. It just doesn't seem like my kind of thing.
Don't wash your hair during your period?!? WTF in Women's Health ·
God, stories like this honestly terrify me. Just a few days ago, a friend of mine had her baby, and my mom—get this—immediately bought the newborn a red coral bracelet to ward off the "evil eye" or whatever superstition they're pushing now. And then, because I had just walked in from the dark outside, I wasn't even allowed to go near the baby right away?! I mean, look, it’s not like I was on my period or anything, so what was the logic there? Seriously, wtf? It makes me wonder what century we actually live in.
