Schizophrenia - General Discussion in Psychology & Therapy ·
Gary James88 said:Spot on. It’s banned in some places (like Canada), but here in America and most other spots, it seems to still be legal (Italy, France, England, USA, Japan...). That said, everyone knows the ECB isn't exactly the gold standard; it's mired in controversy and you rarely see it prescribed these days.

I underwent ECT treatments back during the third and fourth months of 1997.
And honestly, I am no more or less unstable than I was before the procedure.
So, if you are looking for someone who just appeared out of thin air, that would be me 😁.
In the intervening years, my diagnosis was updated in 2000 to schizoaffective disorder.
My current regimen involves five liters of lithium daily, three lamictal, and one and a half Cipralex.
I suppose anyone wishing to maintain a life as tranquil as mine would need to consume at least that much.
😁☕

Currently, I am engaging in sexual therapy with my communications specialist, Dr. George.
The rule is simply: no sex until the session is complete.
And so on, blah blah blah...
I shall eventually find the time to link all my clones together, and everyone will receive their due
—they will get a diagnosis from me, while I learn directly from Dr. George
so that there is no further need for debate.
On the news today, Fiolic appeared on television and remarked:
"Just say nice things about others, even if they are unpleasant!"
Amen, Jesus Christ, you haven't seen anything quite as low as this trash before 🙂🙂🙂
For anyone struggling with insomnia in Psychology ·
😕Whether one finds solace in Jesus, Allah, or any other spiritual path, we must surely acknowledge that we are firmly planted in the twenty-first century; we have modern medicine at our fingertips, after all, and we are certainly no longer wandering through the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, ancient Rome, or even the nineteenth century.
It is an undeniable fact that humanity traces its lineage back to primitive cave dwellers, yet we must account for the forty thousand years that have elapsed since those beginnings, as times inevitably shift and evolve.
I'm feeling really lost right now in Psychology ·
Whenever I find myself without my computer, my DVD player, or even the television at hand ------> I simply reach for a book instead. 🙂 ☕
Falling for an ex with an addiction problem in Psychology ·
One really ought to exercise extreme caution regarding the internal organs of an addict, for if they become sufficiently ravaged, the individual may pass away, leaving behind nothing but the memory of their love☕

rustynomad7 said:I was deeply in love with "someone like that" with "that condition"🙂 for a long time... but eventually, I realized I was going to snap if I stayed with him. It feels somewhat metaphorical—much like any social circle, you end up picking up someone’s mindset, whether you realize it or not—though perhaps it varies depending on the specific temperament of each individual dealing with schizophrenia.
The reality is that the weight of this "illness" inevitably hits those closest to you. You practically need superhuman strength—divine intervention, maybe?—to truly "live" alongside them. I thought I had that strength. I didn't. In fact, that realization left me feeling incredibly guilty...
Though I should add one thing: even when you're "difficult," having a specific role in society matters. I actually gained quite a bit from that relationship...

I must confess, I find myself in a state of profound uncertainty regarding whether my current mental clarity is truly genuine or if the lithium is simply masking the underlying symptoms of my schizophrenia.
I have just finished taking two of them.
I find myself compelled to share a rather heavy realization regarding my own mental state, though I admit the admission feels somewhat daunting to put into words. It appears that I am living with schizoaffective disorder.

Everything you have written is absolutely correct, and I find myself in complete agreement with every single point you made.
It is a rather heavy thought to carry, isn't it? One cannot simply expect everyone to exist within the same boundaries of normalcy or mental equilibrium. It seems we are all navigating such vastly different internal landscapes, and expecting a universal standard of "normal" feels, perhaps, like an exercise in futility.
It is a recurring, somewhat heavy thought that weighs upon my mind, and I find myself frequently—perhaps even every other day—turning to my husband to ask him the most fundamental and, quite frankly, daunting question: why on earth is he with me?
And honestly, I can’t help but feel that he was quite simply designed for one particular, deeply troubled soul. ☕
Paralyzed by indecision in Psychology ·
Andrew Ramos10 said:Give yourself two solid slaps to the face and say it with conviction: "I am changing my ways... I truly want to change."
The next time you find yourself stuck on even the smallest decision—like picking out a new pack of boxers at Target, for instance—just list five options and pick one!
If you can't manage that, go ahead and give yourself another two slaps, because you've been acting like a real troublemaker lately...

Not all guys wear boxer briefs, you know; some prefer those standard white briefs because they simply find them more comfortable.

Some people are just naturally decisive while others struggle with indecision, but frankly, I can't make any guarantees about how things will turn out.☕
Joshua Carter97 said:I frequently find myself in a situation where people either absolutely adore me or can't stand my guts... which is perfectly fine in my personal life, but I'm struggling with how to handle it professionally. It’s honestly pretty disheartening to discover that there are several colleagues who would much rather I didn't work with them anymore. 😢

Well, yeah... honestly, screw them.☕

I honestly feel inclined to report the moderator who went ahead and rounded my posts up to 22.44

To be perfectly blunt, I couldn't care less about your fragile little feelings, you absolute pig ☕

edit: looks like they banned me on Blur

oh, my mistake—it’s actually 22.43 now, and here we are, keeping tabs on these deranged monsters

I find there is something deeply morbid about

as if those heavy doses of pills were something I didn't even fully grasp at the time

and then the movie happens, where he just heads off toward some sort of golden aura, while

this one really set the screen on fire.
It strikes me as quite macabre, honestly; I think I would have left her there too, just to enjoy her life in that massive estate.

And here we go again, drifting back into a discussion about sex.

I actually spent some time at a clothing-optional beach once, and I truly believe I would recommend the experience to anyone. ☕
