Thanks, everyone. I’m feeling absolutely terrible right now. And to make matters worse, I'm still ten days out from my period—which usually means I'm dealing with major bloating and water retention. Anyway, I've decided today is the day for a total reset: lots of raw fruits and veggies, no processed junk, plenty of water, some sparkling mineral water, and maybe some kefir... hopefully, that'll help me feel human again in a day or two.🙏
First off, I couldn't even watch that for more than ten seconds—it was just too much. And honestly, I have my doubts about whether it's actually healthy. Angela Wright, you might remember from another thread that I deal with some health issues, but this? This is way out of my league... I could never bring myself to try something like this. I did see a documentary once claiming that an annual enema is supposedly healthy—apparently, some indigenous tribes do it and they all live to be a hundred—but even then, this feels like a massive stretch. 😲 😲 😲 😲 😲 😲 No, absolutely not!
Honestly, I’m sorry, but that was just revolting—I truly have no idea why anyone would even think it’s a good idea to post something like that online. 😲 And yeah, personally, if I don't eat enough, my digestive system basically just goes on strike because there's nothing for it to process. So, how does something like *that* even happen???
Hey everyone, I could really use some advice here. So, two days ago, I went out for Mexican food. Even before we sat down, I had this nagging feeling that it wasn't going to sit well with me—my digestion can be pretty finicky. And before you ask why I ate it anyway... well, a close friend was celebrating her birthday and she picked a Mexican spot for the group. Since then, I’ve been feeling like a total balloon. Honestly, my stomach feels like I’m five months pregnant. Yesterday, I tried to "reset" myself by eating nothing but yogurt, kefir, Activia, fruit, and some sautéed kale... just trying to clear things out. I haven't eaten much at all, but the bloating hasn't let up, and my stomach is actually hurting quite a bit. Seriously, what should I do?😠
Look, I think you’re making a bit of a mistake here! It’s not that you need to stand under lukewarm water every single time, but you definitely shouldn't be scalding yourself under a steaming hot shower either. Honestly, that might be exactly why your skin is acting up. You take a boiling hot shower, then step out into air that's much cooler than the water, head into a bedroom where the heater has completely sucked all the moisture out of the air, and then eventually step outside into the crisp cold... and there you have it. It's a recipe for disaster, really! 🙂
Honestly, Dove is such a dream to apply—it has this lightweight, watery texture that just sinks right into your skin, leaving everything looking incredibly fresh! It’s seriously impressive. I’ll admit, I was pretty skeptical that something so affordable could actually deliver results when my friend first recommended it, but wow, was I wrong! Just a little tip, though: try not to swap products constantly, and don't overdo the application, otherwise your skin might never feel truly hydrated. Also, please—avoid using scalding hot water in the shower; stick to lukewarm instead. It makes a world of difference! 👍
My skin used to be incredibly flaky—honestly, it was almost like having dandruff, if you know what I mean... just constant peeling everywhere. I don't know, all those heavy, greasy products didn't really do much for me, but these ones actually worked, so now they're my absolute go-tos! Especially that L'Oréal line; in my opinion, nothing else even comes close!👍
Look, I’ll be the first to admit I was totally lost in this mess, but I think I finally figured out the trick. I used to be all about those oils you apply to wet skin—I even used to swear by Nivea cream for dry patches... but the real issue was that I’d end up feeling greasy as a pig. Nothing would actually absorb into my skin, even though I could comfortably lounge around naked for half an hour without a care. Then, once I actually dressed, I’d just have to wipe everything off with my clothes. You could practically smell the product sitting on top of me.😠 The thing is, you might not actually have dry skin—you might just have dehydrated skin. There's a huge difference; it means your skin is basically screaming for water. That’s why those heavy creams aren't doing a thing for you. So, I decided to take a chance and grab some L'Oréal Lipikar from their line for extremely dehydrated skin. It worked wonders for me.👍 My skin felt... honestly, perfection. Before using it, I had these almost raw, irritated patches on my stomach. Now, the downside is the price tag—for 400ml, it's roughly $43 which is quite a hit. Since I'm still a college student, it was a bit much for my budget, so I headed over to CVS to see what else they had that was similar. And I found this:😛 Go pick up some Dove Hydro Body Lotion with Vitamin F and spring water. It’s the one in the light blue bottle—the most affordable option. Right now, it's only $7.99 at CVS!
Good luck!👍 I know exactly how uncomfortable and frustrating all of this can be!!! 🙂
