Hey everyone, I could really use some advice here.
So, two days ago, I went out for Mexican food. Even before we sat down, I had this nagging feeling that it wasn't going to sit well with me—my digestion can be pretty finicky. And before you ask why I ate it anyway... well, a close friend was celebrating her birthday and she picked a Mexican spot for the group.
Since then, I’ve been feeling like a total balloon. Honestly, my stomach feels like I’m five months pregnant. Yesterday, I tried to "reset" myself by eating nothing but yogurt, kefir, Activia, fruit, and some sautéed kale... just trying to clear things out. I haven't eaten much at all, but the bloating hasn't let up, and my stomach is actually hurting quite a bit. Seriously, what should I do?😠

Thanks so much in advance!🙂

Next time you find yourself stuck eating something that’s going to wreck your stomach, just carry some activated charcoal with you—you can grab the powder or tablets at any CVS or Walgreens. Just mix it with a glass of water, swallow it down, and it’ll soak up all those toxins so you can clear your system later without the drama.👍 Charcoal is completely tasteless and odorless, too.

Right now, if you want quick results, try some Pepto-Bismol or maybe some smooth move tea, but do yourself a favor and stay home all day because once that urge hits, it’s coming on fast and heavy.😁

Thanks, everyone. I’m feeling absolutely terrible right now. And to make matters worse, I'm still ten days out from my period—which usually means I'm dealing with major bloating and water retention.
Anyway, I've decided today is the day for a total reset: lots of raw fruits and veggies, no processed junk, plenty of water, some sparkling mineral water, and maybe some kefir... hopefully, that'll help me feel human again in a day or two.🙏

Don't go overboard with all that fruit and veg—believe it or not, even the healthy stuff can make you bloat if you overdo it. Just keep it moderate. Honestly, a little bit of activated charcoal should clear you right out—just make sure you take it on an empty stomach and drink it lukewarm. Good luck!

Just head over to the pharmacy and grab some Dulcolax tablets. Honestly, take three of them and just wait... you’ll see how much of a "total system flush" you get at the restroom about 12 hours later.🙂

Whenever I feel bloated, nothing hits the spot quite like a Budweiser.
You can find it at any local drugstore. Just mix one teaspoon into about a quarter cup of water.

Trust me, I've been there. I knocked back two liters of Donat and some unsweetened tea over two days before my colonoscopy, and let's just say I was glued to the bathroom floor...🤣

I've tried those myself, and they kick in almost instantly! Whatever you do, do NOT plan on leaving the house for a while 😬
They only cost about a couple of bucks, 🙏 and honestly, those glycerin suppositories you can get at the pharmacy work just as well...😍

Hey everyone, thanks so much for all the help!🙂
And yeah, you’re absolutely right—overdoing it with the fruit and veggies didn't help at all; it honestly just dragged things out for me, though I eventually realized that was part of the problem myself!
Honestly, trying to figure out how this body works... it can be such a mystery sometimes!😳

Look, I’m no expert here, but...

So, does anyone else feel like they’re basically turning into a water balloon right before their period hits? I feel like I just swell up and hold onto every ounce of water imaginable. Is that actually a thing? Or am I just losing my mind?
Heart? Kidneys? Liver? What are we even talking about here? I don't know, maybe I'm overthinking it, but it feels like everything is constantly under fire. Is it all just one big question mark at this point? I guess it doesn't matter. Just feels heavy.

I'm not entirely sure I follow the question, but yeah—that definitely happens right before your period, and there isn't really a specific trigger for it...
....it’s most likely just the hormones acting up.
Being a woman is honestly such a struggle sometimes.😁 😁

Look, I’m not a girl... but uh... this thing never used to happen with my girlfriends (all of them, really)..

Honestly, it’s probably just because you were seeing girls who weren't going to stress you out with this kind of stuff every single month.
And look, it really varies—sometimes it's less, sometimes more, and some months there's nothing at all. Even birth control can mess with that balance.
Other than that, I'm feeling as healthy as can be! 🙂

I get that bloating too (and my chest feels heavy 😎 ) a few days before, and honestly, I look terrible. And don't even get me started on French fries!!!!! The bloating, the gas... it's just a total disaster. 👎 I don't even touch them anymore.

If I were to use a Dulcolax suppository tomorrow morning, how long would it take for things to actually "clear out" 😬? Basically, what’s the turnaround time for everything to exit
? I'm asking because I'm a bit concerned; I won't be home for most of the day after that, and I really don't want to get caught in a bad spot while I'm out 😲 😲
. Looking for some urgent advice here

You’ll find yourself clearing everything out on that very same day. The only catch is that you'll end up needing to head to the restroom every half hour or so... you get this intense, overwhelming urge to "clear out," even if there isn't actually anything left to move along. It isn't exactly a pleasant experience, I'll admit, but it certainly gets the job done.

And honestly, why bother with a suppository? You're much better off just taking a pill instead. They're tiny and much easier to deal with.

I honestly thought the Zicam would kick in faster than this.
In about an hour, I’ll probably grab either some more spray or just switch to Advil... I'm just hoping this thing doesn't drag on into tomorrow.
