I was wondering, what kind of reaction should I expect if I have a little bit of alcohol while I'm out at a festival or just hanging out with friends?
I personally struggle with anxiety and panic disorder, and I'm currently taking one pill a day without any other anti-anxiety meds, though I've noticed quite a few of you seem to be combining it with other stuff...

It probably won't do you any real harm, though I suppose you might just find yourself feeling significantly more lethargic than usual.

fadedbear92 said:Yeah, well—that's his call—but he shouldn't be too lazy to just do a quick Google search himself😍

hey
where'd you go?????😠

It hits harder when you see those late-night shots of the city, you know? Walking through downtown seeing all these couples strolling along hand-in-hand while I feel like some sort of useless primate just wandering aimlessly. You walk into any local bistro or coffee shop and it’s always the same pattern: groups of guys, groups of girls, or couples... but for the singles? There doesn't seem to be a seat at the table for us.😢
this depression is honestly starting to feel like it's clawing its way into my brain.

fadedbear92 said:If they little bit reduce it... you won't be able to function—it's just not right...

Dear urbanskipper4, I think fadedbear92 makes a fair point. I went through a similar stretch once where I was taking too much, and I found myself nodding off five times a day, which obviously isn't a healthy way to live.

Maybe it’s worth scheduling a check-up with your psychiatrist to let them know this specific medication isn't sitting right with you.

As fadedbear92 put it, "you can't really function like this." 🙂

I think I can finally step away from those damn heptanones, though I suppose I should probably wait until 😁

urbanskipper4 said:I've been feeling so incredibly low all day, and this weather is just killing my mood. Honestly, my OCD is absolutely wrecking me lately. It’s constant. I feel like I’m just falling apart inside.
And now I'm back to washing my hands every five minutes. My hands are bright red and they sting like crazy. They're so irritated. Is there ever going to be an end to this bullshit? Because it feels like there isn't.
When you can't see a way out of it, you just spiral into these deep depressions.
I'm actually terrified they'll bump up my dose of Seroquel, because then the weight gain is going to be real.

Today has been so rough that I ended up taking 2 xanax. It knocked me out for a bit, but I still just want to cry.
I'm still hurting so much because my boyfriend walked out on me and he won't even pick up the phone.
I just can't seem to wrap my head around the fact that it's over and he's gone.
Everyone keeps telling me to just get over him and move on, but it's not that easy. It doesn't work like that.
Maybe I'll join one of those big gym chains like Planet Fitness. Maybe the exercise will help somehow.

I'm just so sad and exhausted.
Nothing seems to make any sense anymore.
The depression and the OCD are just crushing me again.

With an outlook and a state of mind like that, if you were to walk into a psychiatric ward, they might just suggest that staying with us for a while would be for the best.

Well, it's entirely up to you. If things are truly that unbearable, then go. I went through something similar once, and honestly, being able to just rest and sleep in a hospital setting helped me feel a bit more stable afterward.

🙂 Well, you certainly hit the nail on the head there. I suppose you just have a knack for seeing right through things, don't you?

fadedbear92 said:Just imagine how much my new prescription for Cymbalta would set me back without insurance—it’s almost $67! One box isn't even enough; I need two just to get through the month. But with my coverage, I'm only looking at 20 bucks! So, you tell me—is having good insurance worth it? Of course, everything comes with a price, but life can get a whole lot harder when you're footing the full bill yourself.😠

Do you want the box? It’s just sitting here, honestly. I haven't even touched it once.

Forty pills... man, seriously... you really need to stop putting all that junk in your system.

I’m planning on getting that settled today, along with the extra payment I owe $0.50...

At the end of the day, I suppose the most important thing is just making sure the bill gets paid.

Does anyone have advice on how to get off Hepal?

I’m thinking about trying to go cold turkey, though I know I'm basically inviting hell to my doorstep. Has anyone here actually gone through that?

urbanskipper4 said:So, I’m on Seroquel now, and man, I have put on a ridiculous amount of weight in just six weeks. My appetite is through the roof, even though everything else feels okay. I just find myself constantly craving chocolate.
Starting today, I’m on this crazy 500-calorie diet my nutritionist set up for me.
I’ve actually worked with him before and managed to drop a ton of weight—I kept it off for two whole years back when I was just on Anafranil. My appetite was totally fine then. But things have gone downhill lately since they put me on Seroquel. It seriously just opens the floodgates for hunger. Trying to eat light while on Seroquel is basically impossible, but whatever, I'm going to lose these pounds. Acupuncture helps take the edge off the hunger, too.

When I was on Seroquel, I think I was basically just inhaling chocolate all day.😁

Robin Hernandez8 said:How much Misar are you taking on a daily basis? I’m currently at six 0.25mg doses.
I wonder... how long can someone actually stay on a dose like that? I guess I'm just a little worried they might try to taper me down, which would be tough because, honestly, it’s working so well for me right now.

I'm taking 0.5mg three times a day, and frankly, it feels like I'm not even taking anything at all.👎
That's way too much...

ambermason16 said:"Totally fine" my ass. It’s funny how whenever I mix this with my Hep C meds, I can handle hundreds of milligrams without blinking. But now? Dealing with this nasty flu I picked up here in Chicago? Even the tiniest dose knocks me sideways.

I’ve been there too, though I guess I'm lucky enough that it doesn't hit me quite as hard.

I was wondering if anyone else here in the Velafax community deals with heartburn?

ambermason16 said:Is anyone overdoing it with the Mayer? I’m starting to think 10mg for breakfast was a massive mistake... nothing life-threatening, but I’m currently sitting here drooling all over my chin. Is it the coffee? Did I drink way too much coffee?

I wouldn't say you went overboard... 10mg seems perfectly reasonable, I suppose.

Is anyone actually on Zeldox, or has anyone here dealt with it in the past? I'm starting to get the impression that I might be the only one in this group taking it, since I haven't seen anyone else chime in about their experience with it lately.
I’d really appreciate it if someone could reach out and share what it was like for you... maybe we can compare notes.

fadedbear92 said:Antidepressants 'may harm sperm'

Could antidepressants impact male sperm quality?

I don't really have any intention of getting married, so I don't see myself becoming a dad anytime soon. 😁
So, regarding what was written about sperm quality—it sounds like more bad news specifically targeted at men, but as I mentioned before, it doesn't really affect my own life... it feels like just another headline for the masses.🤣

Amy Roberts4 said:So I'm on a mix of Luxet and Helix now. Before this, it was just Lexapro in the afternoon, but since things have "improved," I switched to this combo. We'll see how it plays out over the next few days... honestly, I feel way, way better right now. Is it just because of the Helix? Who knows. 🤷

And how many milligrams is the Helix?
