I suppose I’m probably not the only one here taking Zeldox? If there happens to be anyone else on it, I’d really appreciate it if you could share how it’s been working for you and whether you feel like it’s actually making a difference?
Anonymous said:Hey everyone.
I finally decided to sign up here, though I’ve been lurking on Reddit for a while now. I’ve been diagnosed with depression and I'm currently managing a few different medications. I had a serious struggle with heroin in the past, so I’m also taking 18 tablets of methadone a day. Starting today, I’m adding Citalopram to the mix—beginning with half a 20mg pill for four days before moving up to a full dose. I'm also supposed to take 25mg of Prazosin three times a day, I think. I'm honestly pretty terrified about the side effects. I just want to know if anyone has experience with this kind of regimen and if the depression will actually lift. I deal with this crushing sense of guilt that started when I was 14 and has only gotten worse as I've hit 22. Even though I'm young, I spent five years struggling with heroin; I've been clean for six months now thanks to methadone treatment, but the depression is still hanging over me like a cloud. My psychiatrist mentioned that antidepressants take a long time to kick in and that I’ll likely be on them for the long haul. Has anyone here actually managed to beat their depression?

My situation is somewhat similar to yours, though I take 10ml in solution every day, which is essentially the same as 20 tablets of Methadone. And yes, I said twenty—please don't come for me, haha, because I know for many people even 15 feels like way too much. I have to admit, the Methadone helps me function normally, but I still struggle with heavy depression; my doctor diagnosed me with severe post-rehab depression, so alongside the Methadone, I'm also taking Effexor, Zoloft, and Xanax. As for me, things did eventually start looking up regarding the depression, but it didn't happen until about two months in... it really does take a while for an antidepressant to actually work. For some, it takes longer, and for others, it’s faster, but the main thing is that it will help. I guess you just have to be patient and you'll see.😉

Timothy Wood38 said:I’m not sure I follow... what would that even mean? We're talking about psychostimulants here, and Catapresan definitely doesn't fall into that category, does it?

The subject at hand is psychopharmaceuticals, if I recall correctly... though if you're skeptical, you might want to take a look at the title itself.
I was actually wondering why it seems impossible to find Catapresan at any local pharmacy lately... I heard a rumor that they might be discontinuing its production altogether.

Timothy Wood38 said:I actually tried to order some myself once, but I was told it’s restricted here in the States and basically reserved for the domestic market. The only psychostimulant in that family available to us is Concerta—which is really just Ritalin with a time-release mechanism. Still, I might try to track down some Concerta to see how it works for me. Apparently, besides being used for ADHD treatment in America, students everywhere abuse all these amphetamines and their derivatives because they help with focus and energy boosts... though they can trigger euphoria too. They're essentially just legal drugs.

And what about Catapresan?

I feel compelled to write this here since there isn't a dedicated thread specifically for heptanone. To give some context, I’ve been taking the exact same dose of Hepa for over six months now, and for the most part, I was functioning quite well on it. Of course, after that first month, the effects became almost imperceptible, but I suppose I still have to take it every single day just to feel like a somewhat normal human being. Even then, things seemed relatively stable.
For the last four days, though, I've been hit with withdrawal—the tremors, the shakes, all those classic symptoms of a crisis... and honestly, I haven't a clue why this is suddenly happening to me.🤷
I’ve spent so much time spiraling into my own thoughts that I've started worrying I might actually be sick, maybe even dealing with something as serious as cancer, because every single day feels like absolute hell. I imagine those of you who have dealt with these kinds of withdrawals might understand exactly what I'm going through better than anyone else.
Maybe my body is just demanding more... I don't know. I guess I'm just wondering if anyone here might be able to offer some insight or help regarding this situation?

I’ve recently been moved up to 80mg of Zyprexa, which I suppose is the highest dose they offer... I can't quite wrap my head around why they decided to bump me up when my previous dosage seemed to be working just fine. For sleep, though, I've been using Halcion—it works wonders, honestly.

I find myself wondering what kind of side effects you’re actually dealing with from Zyprexa that could possibly be that intense? It seems to me that Zyprexa and Zeldox are quite similar in their profiles, though I’ve been taking Zeldox myself lately. From what I’ve gathered through my own reading, it appears to be a better option, particularly if one is looking to avoid that rather extreme tendency to gain something like 80 or 90 pounds unexpectedly.

Ronald Chavez9 said:A few weeks back, I was watching this documentary series on DOQ when they featured some big-name celebrities opening up about their struggles with depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder—specifically their experiences with AD. They brought in university professors and psychiatrists to weigh in, too. The doctors made a really interesting point: staying in a dark, depressive state without treatment actually causes your neurotransmitters to die off, creating this hollowed-out void in your brain—sort of like a network full of holes. On the flip side, for those who were consistently on AD, the neurotransmitters stayed active and didn't degrade.
I wanted to share this for anyone out there worried that taking AD long-term is somehow harmful.
The bottom line? It’s proven to be more than just safe; it's actually beneficial.

thanks so much for sharing this! honestly, I feel a bit better now 😉

If you’re dealing with an actual panic attack, I’ve always felt it’s better to stick with the standard xanax because it hits you almost instantly and settles things down right away. On the other hand, this SD version tends to kick in much more gradually; it takes about two hours to really peak, though it does stay in your system significantly longer—probably closer to ten hours or so.

My doctor originally prescribed the 2mg SD dose, but whenever I check at the local CVS, they tell me it’s out of stock. Apparently, they stopped manufacturing the 2mg strength entirely and only carry the 1mg SD now. To be honest, I still take the 2mg when I can find it, since even a single tablet usually feels like more than enough for me.

I can't help but wonder if that isn't a bit much medication for one person? Taking 1mg of xanax SR three times daily seems quite intense, if you ask me.
I take a similar setup myself, though I really only use the xanax as needed, since xanax is already pretty potent on its own—not to mention that 80mg dose of Zeldox. I have to ask, are you even able to walk straight?

The reason I'm asking is that I'm currently on 40mg of Zeldox, and honestly, it knocks me out so completely that I can barely stay on my feet.

Eric Jackson11 said:Why am I being treated like this at the pharmacy when I’m just trying to pick up a medication my specialist specifically prescribed for me?

Are they asking for too much personal information and stuff like that?
I’ve been going back and forth with them over the dosage they have on file. Does anyone know how I can resolve this...
Has anyone else dealing with insomnia run into these kinds of hurdles?

Personally, I deal with sleep issues myself. Every single night, I find myself wide awake around 4:00 AM. And I mean every single night, without fail.
It’s starting to really get under my skin. Even if I take something, I still end up waking up...

I have a controlled prescription for Ambien, and honestly, it seems like the only thing that actually works to keep me asleep through the night. I usually have no trouble picking it up at the local CVS... it's pretty straightforward.

Honestly, I feel like I’m reading the same headline over and over again lately—some college student struggling with mental health issues and relying on tranquilizers just to get by! 🙂

It almost seems like getting through a degree in this country is impossible without a prescription in hand. Haha.

p.s. And yeah, I suppose I’m one of those students myself. Just an American grad trying to make it. 👍

How is everyone doing? I’ve been feeling pretty great lately, honestly, ever since I finally managed to get off Seroquel. These days, I’m just sticking to Effexor and some Xanax at 0.5.

To be honest, that antipsychotic had me feeling constantly bloated and I was putting on quite a bit of weight.

Daniel Rogers50 said:I’ll find out on July 26th since that’s when my follow-up is scheduled, so I really need to touch base with my doctor and get everything squared away first.

I actually took some today, and honestly, just two hours later, I could barely keep my eyes open before heading straight to bed. My tolerance seems to have dropped since I haven't been taking it consistently, though I suppose I don't even really need it anymore now that I can face reality clearly. It feels a bit too intense for me; I guess if I were still dealing with hallucinations or hearing things, I might consider taking it—since that was the whole reason I started in the first place—but since those symptoms are gone, I've basically decided to quit on my own. One less poison in my system, I suppose.🙂

So, have you finally made up your mind about what you're going to do regarding Zeldox?

Daniel Rogers50 said:It’s not even like we don't talk at all, it’s just that he’s usually the one constantly dragging me into stuff while I tend to stay more low-key. But honestly? If he’s actually going to walk away from me just because I’m not initiating things more often, then fine—it’ll just prove he isn't the right person for me anyway.

You don't have to reply here if you'd rather not; feel free to just send me a private message instead. I was just wondering, how frequently does this happen?

Daniel Rogers50 said:Look, it’s pretty simple: if you’re actually with someone—I mean, if there’s real love, genuine respect, and actual care involved rather than just hooking up—they’re going to get it and they’re going to be patient. My partner has known since day one that I’m on medication, and he’s been my biggest support system through all of this. But yeah, things get messy, and it honestly makes me feel like absolute garbage when he asks me, "Why are you losing interest in me?" because then I have to sit there and explain all over again that it isn't him, it's just the side effects from the meds. At the end of the day, if you haven't lived through it yourself, you can say you understand, but you don't truly get how much it sucks.

That might be true, but it also holds true that if the sex life isn't working, the relationship starts to crumble. It's practically a proven fact.
That’s why I was asking you about it. As much as people claim sex doesn't matter, it's actually vital to a relationship!
I honestly don't know how I would handle it if I had a girlfriend... I'd probably end up breaking up, or if I had a girlfriend dealing with this exact issue, things would likely fall apart. Being in a relationship and going six months without any intimacy... that just kills the connection.
I hope things turn out better for you!😉

Daniel Rogers50 said:Ugh, yeah, the side effects—besides just feeling like a total zombie, my hands keep cramping up while driving, and I’ve completely lost any interest in sex. My libido is basically non-existent right now. Honestly, I'm freaking out about it because I just want my old self back! 😢

If that's the case, how are you even supposed to maintain a relationship??

I suppose I'm in the same boat regarding that part—my desire is pretty much non-existent right now.😳

It seems like we're all running into the exact same issues. I personally put on about 20 pounds in just two months, which is strange because I feel like I barely eat anything. Then there's the drowsiness and that slight muscle stiffness. After weighing all this against the downsides, I decided to just stop taking Zoloft on my own, and I guess it worked for me; I dropped three pounds almost immediately.🤣

Daniel Rogers50 said:Back in the day, it was Adderall and Apomorphine, but honestly, nowadays I'm just stuck on Zeldox 40mg combined with Akineton because the side effects are just relentless, and it's been going on for five years now.

Am I reading that correctly? Zeldox?!? 😁
Well, finally, it seems someone actually takes that instead of everyone else constantly being pushed toward Zyprexa.
I started out on 40mg, but they eventually bumped me up to 60mg.
What kind of side effects are you dealing with on the Zeldox? For me, it’s mostly the physical stuff, obviously—just constant drowsiness and feeling completely drained.
