My psychiatrist swapped my Coaxil for Citalon today after I'd been on it for two months. Anyone else using Citalon? What’s the damage like...
I got prescribed this because the constant headaches and dizziness were triggering my panic attacks...
thanks

So, I finally bumped up to the full dose of Effexor, 3x daily. Been on it for about ten days now. Some days I feel fine, but then out of nowhere, this insane jitters hit me... it’s unreal. My therapist mentioned a lot of people complain about that weird nervous feeling in their gut, and she’s totally right. It's like that pure anxiety you get right before a huge final exam.
She also prescribed some Xanax or maybe Ativan for the side effects, but neither of those worked for me, so I've just been taking Valium instead.
Is anyone else on this stuff? When does this side effect crap actually stop?

God, I am so on edge, especially when I actually have to leave the house... ugh 😠
It could be your ears, anxiety, or even your neck...
Unfortunately, I've been fighting this exact same thing for almost 6 years now on and off, so I can't really offer any expert advice... just hoping it clears up for you soon. 😉

Has anyone been prescribed Percocet and Xanax (pp) for headaches and dizziness?

Oh, for sure, I only took one pill. But the side effects are absolutely brutal, so I'm wondering if anyone else deals with this stuff?
Maybe I just can't handle this much stress right now. It probably wasn't the best idea to start taking them while my life is such a total mess...

Hey...

I was prescribed Percocet 3 x1, then 2x1 on the first day, but when I took my first dose on Saturday morning, I hit a massive panic attack. Like, the worst one I've had in ages: racing heart, brain fog, sweaty palms, dizziness, headache... basically, I felt dead...

Anyway, the doctor gave me this for headaches and vertigo since my psychiatrist says there’s nothing seriously wrong with my mental health. I actually ended up seeing the psychiatrist because my neurologist suggested it.
I called her immediately the next day, but she just brushed me off saying the meds shouldn't cause that (even though those are literally listed as side effects!) and mentioned I'm also taking Xanax 3 x1. I was absolutely wiped out from the Percocet, and now having to take that on top of the Xanax... honestly, going from "nothing wrong" to full-blown psych issues is happening fast...

I had a majorly stressful thing happen this week—my puppy passed away—so maybe it wasn't even the right time to start new medication. I don't know, what do you guys think?

I am beyond furious. On top of everything else hitting me right now, I have to fight these panic attacks that are totally draining me...

She gave me Xanax to try instead of Ativan, just to see which works better. I took it yesterday and it didn't touch the dizziness at all (which Ativan usually handles), and I was just incredibly drowsy.
I'm lost. I haven't started the AD yet, so I guess I'll just wait until I can talk to my neurologist again.

Are these normal side effects? Because for me, it was brutal. I deal with panic attacks sometimes, but I can usually manage them—this was totally out of my control.

Sorry for the long vent...

thanks

You can grab these ginger capsules at Walgreens. They go for about $13. Here’s what my drives look like (whenever I’m not white-knuckling it after taking Dramamine). I always have to sit in the passenger seat and stare straight at the road. I can't move too much, and heaven forbid I actually have to turn around or look for something while we're moving. But even then, it only works if the weather is perfect. If it gets hot, forget it—I feel absolutely miserable...
Ever since I can remember, being in a car or any kind of transport makes me feel like death.
Anyway, I guess you just have to start driving... 😉

I feel sick on pretty much any mode of transport... 🙄
I take Dramamine, but lately I feel less like I’m being helped and more like I’m just high...
Try finding something all-natural; I used to take ginger capsules for a while. You could also try those acupressure wristbands, people say they actually work.
The only time I don't feel nauseous is when I'm the one behind the wheel. 😉
I need some help here... A few months ago, the pain was absolutely killer about 10 days before my period started. Total misery—nausea, back pain, even shooting pains down my leg. Once my period actually arrived, the pain finally started to ease up. I’ve always had painful ovulations, so I figured it was just that again, even though this felt way worse than usual. One time I actually ended up in the ER, and of course, it was a cyst, but it cleared up on its own...

Then, two cycles ago, the exact same thing happened, only even more intense. No pill could touch it. The only thing that helped was lying in one specific position. I ended up back in the ER, where the gynecologist told me I had just started my period, but she saw something on my left ovary. She said it might just be related to my cycle and could be normal... 😲 But she still told me to come back once my period finished.

Well, a few days after my period started, the pain stopped. I went in for a follow-up, and turns out it really was a 3 cm cyst. She told me to go get my tumor markers checked (haven't gone yet) and offered me birth control, which I turned down since I'm planning on having a baby soon. The next cycle was totally fine, so clearly everything was happening on the other ovary.

And now, here we go again. I can feel that pain in my left ovary right now, and my period isn't due for another 10 days or so. I have no idea what meds to take! I tried Spazmeks, which usually helps with my ovulation pain, but it's barely doing anything. I read that girls deal with much bigger cysts too. Do you guys get this kind of pain? What do you take when it hits?

Help me, I'm seriously losing my mind trying all these different pills...

Ugh... honestly, I've been dealing with these constant dizzy spells and headaches for over five years now... all my tests come back fine... except for my neck...

My advice? Go see a physical therapist, but get an MRI first... even though my old X-rays didn't show much of anything...

It’s just this endless, vicious cycle... I really hope you feel better soon...

p.s. trust me, it's nothing (I saw you mentioning you're worried about something serious like a tumor or whatever)
