I could really use some help here. I’m posting with my old username because I had a new one, but then someone decided to reinstall Windows for me (yeah, let's just say he wasn't exactly being careful) and, naturally, everything I had was wiped out... I tried telling him nicely that he should've checked with me first so I could back everything up, but he just had to do it right then and there. Ufffff... It's true, I did get an SSD upgrade, but now I have absolutely nothing on it. 🙂 Is there any way at all to recover my old password? Also, both my login email and password were saved in my old settings... Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

No, nothing else really, just the pain—it's definitely there during ovulation. 🙂 My dates can be a little unpredictable since my cycle usually runs anywhere from 28 to 32 days... My OB-GYN told me everything looked perfectly normal at my last checkup.

I guess I'm just asking because I’m actually trying to get pregnant right now, and I have this nagging gut feeling that these kinds of periods just aren't quite right. Aside from being pretty painful—which I can definitely feel coming on—I don't really have any other health issues. My PMS is fairly predictable, and my 🙂 cycle usually runs between 28 and 32 days.
Hey everyone, I had a quick question for you all... Is it totally normal for a period to last about 3 or 4 days, where the first two days are pretty heavy, but then the last two days taper off into more of a light discharge?
Thanks, I guess I’m just a little worried that having periods like this might make it harder to actually conceive. I definitely feel my ovulation happening—there's that slight cramping and that specific "wet" sensation, you know? :P 🙂. But this month, it was barely even there, whereas last month felt much heavier. 🙂 I’m really hoping everything turns out fine. My OB-GYN actually reassured me that the uterus isn't an issue when it comes to carrying a baby, and she told me that now is actually a great time for me to start trying. 🙂
Hey everyone, I have a quick question... I’ve been having pretty light periods that usually last about 3 to 4 days. This has been my pattern for the last year or two now. I do get some cramps, but this month was just... strange. I don't even know how to describe it. The bleeding was incredibly light—it felt more like just a little spotting that lasted for maybe two days. When I went to see my OB-GYN back in October, she told me everything looked fine. She did an ultrasound and mentioned that I have a slightly tilted uterus. Is that actually something I should be concerned about, or is it totally normal? Maybe this is a silly thing to ask, but... Thanks! 🙂

I'm currently grinding through med school myself, and I have to say, I totally see where some of those points in the OP are coming from—specifically regarding the sheer amount of arrogance you run into from both certain doctors and even the students... It’s a real thing too, like, during our freshman orientation, they basically drill it into our heads that we're part of the intellectual and social elite, which is a one-way ticket to becoming an insufferable snob... As for which major is objectively the hardest, nobody can claim they know for sure with 100% certainty, but let's be real, most of us in medical school firmly believe it's either the absolute toughest or at least top three... It's definitely brutal, but I'd argue that any high schooler with even a passing interest in the sciences can make it through... At the end of the day, finishing med school is more about pure grit and stubbornness than raw talent, unlike something like architecture where you actually need a specific creative spark...
But look, on the flip side, I know plenty of colleagues who are going to be incredible physicians and genuinely good people once they finally get that degree... Honestly, those types make up the vast majority of the student body, and just because most people's only interaction is with a GP whose main job seems to be churning out referrals doesn't mean that everyone else—like the internists, surgeons, pediatricians, OB-GYNs...—is incompetent...
Major respect to the medical field, though there are certainly doctors out there who don't deserve the title. Still, it's important that they hold that MD degree regardless.
It seems like there’s always someone out there looking to be difficult. It’s just one of those things, I suppose... I guess you could look at it as a sort of life lesson, in a way. 🙂 It stings at the time, sure, but you end up learning a thing or two and growing a little thicker skin because of it.
