I’ve been crunching the numbers on how much dessert I actually need... since I don’t plan on sharing, I was thinking about putting two decent-sized pastries on every single table in the hall (which works out to about 4.5 pounds). That would mean ordering roughly 120 pounds of sweets total... and honestly, just thinking about it is already making me feel a bit overwhelmed.

I had a slice at a few weddings and baptisms recently, and honestly, they were amazing. Just wanted to see if anyone here has some first-hand experience with them!

otherwise my parents just say NO because they're convinced if I get them out, everything will just go straight to my lungs... and I'll be sick constantly, catching every little cold imaginable...🤷 😕
Thanks 🙂

I'd much rather just work an 8-hour shift at my job and earn the cash to buy those cakes properly. Making them is a pastry chef's job, not mine! Besides, I don't know what it was like back in the day, but today, brides actually focus more on the preparation than they used to, because it’s not just about the dessert and the cake anymore—there is so much more to it than that.
