Ugh, I honestly have no clue what kind of cake we should go with, and frankly, I don't even have the energy to deal with the whole decision! It used to be so simple—we just had the one original version, you know? No fancy layers, no nothing, just a massive rectangular sheet cake, and that was that...
redviper17 said:I have a quick question for you all! So, my relatives are planning on making some homemade dry cookies, and I was thinking about packing up a variety of these homemade treats into little boxes. My idea is to leave them at the venue, but instead of putting them out on the tables, I’d just hand them out to guests along with their thank-you notes as they head out the door. Does that sound okay? For the actual event, I'll have plenty of cakes, pastries, creamy desserts, fresh fruit, and fruit salad—and I actually have a licensed catering business to handle all of those items.
Oh, absolutely!!! Honestly, people usually just grab a few pounds of random store-bought cookies wrapped in paper, and they end up getting mixed in with everything else anyway...
Thanks so much... though, actually, I was thinking—I’d love them to be more natural, you know? But without those annoying little handles. I don't want standard rectangular boxes either; I'm picturing something round with a lid, or maybe square... if you catch my drift!! Thanks a million... and hey, if anything else pops up... let me know!!!
Listen, I have a question for you all. Does anyone know where I can track down some decent cookie boxes? And I don't mean those cheap, flimsy little things you see at every drugstore or big-box retailer. No, I’m looking for something more... organic? Like that corrugated kraft paper style—you know, the ribbed texture? Maybe in a square or round shape. I want something where I could actually tie a satin ribbon around them. They don't strictly *have* to be designated for cookies, but that's the end goal. Ideally something with a discreet grease barrier so they don't get ruined. If you catch my drift... thanks!!
Maria Diaz79 said:stormyraven46, where did you go for your lymphatic drainage? How long does one session actually take? Prices vary wildly everywhere. I see some places doing $33 for 30 minutes, but the ones I called are $83 (a full hour). I honestly have no clue if an hour-long treatment is even necessary.
Good grief, that was over nine years ago, so I really don't know how much useful information I can actually give you... I had my surgery with Leonardo DiCaprio, and he refers everyone to his friend's place, the Meryl Streep salon... I think I went about once a month, but don't quote me on that... I can't recall the prices at all, though it wasn't exactly cheap, especially since I was going every single day... but, credit where credit is due, they do a fantastic job... very comfortable, very attentive... do you have their number? Just call them, explain why you're coming in, and you'll get your answer... good luck!!!
Ariana Grande is essentially just like those little electrical stimulators that get the fluid moving, followed by a really nice massage... honestly, it’s no big deal! There’s zero pain involved—it actually feels quite pleasant—and the woman running the place is wonderful (the owner herself, specifically)... at least, that was my experience for nine years while I was going through all of this... good luck to you!!! Oh, and just a heads-up: if the swelling doesn't subside and the fluid stays put, they might suggest hydrocortisone injections (I had to get them a few times)... I've mentioned that on previous threads before...

So, here’s the deal: I’ve been on Yasmin for months now and everything is fine, EXCEPT my libido is absolutely non-existent and things are feeling pretty dry down there. I think I’m done with this pack; I’m not doing this anymore. I'm heading over to see my doctor to look for something else... So, what new options should I be looking into?? Give me some recommendations from ladies who haven't gone through childbirth... 😕 🤷
Personally, I used Celestol... absolutely perfect. Took it for about five years... and honestly, I never even felt like I was taking anything at all... good luck out there...🙂
Harold Thompson11 said:I was supposed to go in for that specific test a few years back, but I figured I’d just give them a blood sample instead since they get the results instantly. No luck there either—I even went through a biopsy and still came up totally clean.
And look, I went in for testing just about ten days ago myself... and, yeah, I did the blood work too, even though it isn't even remotely as reliable as the breath test! The breath test is like 99% accurate... whereas blood tests only flag it if the Escherichia coli has been ravaging your system for ages without any treatment and is, you know, incredibly aggressive. The breath test catches everything...

Does anyone have any leads on where I can get this done in Washington, D.C.? And more importantly, what’s the wait time like—do I actually need to book an appointment in advance, or can I just show up? Also, if anyone knows the ballpark figure for the cost, I’d really appreciate it!
Thanks a million!
Hey there! Greetings! I was just thinking about that visit to UnitedHealth Group... $300! Can you believe the nerve? Just like that. It’s absolutely preposterous how these medical facilities operate lately. You walk in, expecting professional care, and instead, you're met with these astronomical figures that feel more like a shakedown than a service fee. Honestly, it makes my blood boil! I mean, what are we even paying for at this point? It feels like they've completely lost sight of the patient and shifted entirely toward the bottom line. Ridiculous. Simply ridiculous! $0.00I honestly have no idea how long the wait is going to be... maybe it'll be wrapped up right away, who knows? You should probably just try some private clinics instead—it might save you the headache. Oh, and I think they can run tests from a blood sample too. Good luck!!!
I started experiencing these "strange states"—and honestly, even now, after a year and a half, I still can't find the right words to explain them to my doctors... but listen, after taking Yasmin for two and a half months, I genuinely felt like I was going to die... literally. Just these terrifying, bizarre sensations in my head... absolutely harrowing. I went from specialist to specialist, doctor after doctor, and nobody could figure out what was happening to me... until I finally reached my current physician. He discovered that I had actually fallen into this horrific, comatose state... blood vessels in the brain... it was pure nightmare fuel. And today—even though I'm still on medication after eighteen months—I feel like I'm slowly returning to some semblance of normalcy. I have to take several pills a day just to function and feel like myself again... It's a level of horror I wouldn't wish on anyone.
Ashley Young34 said:Yeah, yeah, calm down! There was absolutely no need to go on about that. Most people aren't even dealing with those side effects anyway.☕
First of all, let’s get one thing straight: those aren't "side effects." They are standard occurrences that happen in the vast majority of cases—to almost everyone! It’s just that some people choose not to mention them. Personally, I experienced it, and honestly, everything cleared up much sooner and ended up looking way better... by the way, I am certainly not the only one who went through this. It’s funny, really. You say you want the surgery, but then you start trembling over every little potential complication. If you aren't terrified of the actual procedure itself, have you even bothered to ask what it's actually like? Have you done any research? Have you sat down and read about what can actually happen? There are a thousand different things to consider! You shouldn't be living in fear. If you're so worried that you'd rather take a shot just to avoid a moment of panic, then you're in real trouble. I truly wish someone had been there for me to walk me through all of this. I’m not trying to stir the pot; I am simply sharing my own experience in good faith so that you all might actually be prepared for what's coming. That is all there is to it.
William Green57 said:Ooh, injections... wow... yikes... Dammit, side effects happen, obviously, but that’s just how life works with everything...
Oh, hell no! Those shots aren't even necessary... I mean, my nose was still all congested for a while, just filled with fluid, so, yeah, I went ahead and took those injections three times... they hurt, they sting right through to your brain, honestly... but, it doesn't last long... you can power through it... maybe it sounds more terrifying when I describe it like this than it actually is... so don't panic...🙂
I had my nose surgery when I was 17, performed by Dr. Glumicic (who’s quite well-known now...) and the only thing required was my parents signing off on the consent. The whole procedure took about two hours, though things got a little complicated for me—nothing catastrophic, just enough that I had to keep those nasal tampons in longer than expected. Removing them only takes a few seconds, but let me tell you, it is incredibly unpleasant! They also left a splint on me for a bit longer than planned... but overall, everything was fine. I headed home a few hours later, and honestly, I spent most of that day sleeping off the anesthesia. I didn't have any bleeding issues at all during that initial period. After a week, I actually went out (!!!)... and I definitely do NOT recommend it. My big mistake? I couldn't stop messing with the stitches. Seriously, don't do that. Just leave it alone and let everything heal naturally! Eventually, I had to go back three more times for hydrocortisone treatments—injections right into the nose to get the swelling down completely. And oh my God, that BOOOOOOOILS!!!!!!... seriously, do NOT go alone. Generally speaking, the experience isn't unbearable. It's a total lie when they claim it doesn't hurt at all. It hurts! But you'll endure it; it's not the end of the world, and the painkillers do their job. My main issue now is this lingering sensation, like something "happened" to my nose again. I feel like I can see the cartilage slightly, even if that's perfectly normal... then again, maybe I'm just being overly obsessed with it. Who knows, maybe I'll decide to go through with it one more time... good luck to everyone planning to do this!!!!
Greetings! I just have to say, I was on Cilest for several years—about five, actually—and without a single, solitary issue... I didn't even realize I was taking them, absolutely zero side effects... perfection!!! And then (stupid me), based on another gynecologist's recommendation, I started Yasmin... and it was a total catastrophe... I nearly died... absolutely terrifying... lately, it seems like every doctor is just prescribing those things... but clearly, they aren't all that great, if they're even reliable at all... please be careful, and good luck!!!
Frank Hughes56 said:The thing is, I’ve taken these pills before and they always worked for me without any issues. I'm going to hold out until Friday, though. If nothing happens by then, I'll just reach out to my doctor. Today is already day five of my break, so we'll see, right?
Look, just give it another day or two. Honestly, it might be best to head into the clinic before you even think about starting a new pack... that really is your only real move here... especially since we've ruled out pregnancy... (personally, I don't buy that it's possible unless you happen to fall into that tiny 1% margin of error), but tell me, how long have you been on these? How have you generally handled the side effects, and when was the last time you actually had some blood work done?
