I don't know, maybe I've finally lost my marbles, but this feels like an absolute steal to me.



I honestly can't wrap my head around why Manchester United is the favorite here. Maybe if we were talking about the squad from last year, sure, but this current version? Not a chance. I'm not saying Olympiakos is some unstoppable juggernaut or anything, but setting the home team's odds at 4.00 against a club like United—regardless of who's playing at home—just seems a bit ridiculous.
Naturally, I grabbed a single unit on the moneyline too (around 3.80, if I recall correctly), but these 1.45 odds for just one goal from the home side feel like a genuine opportunity.

Standard St. Louis vs. FC Cincinnati | 1 @ 1.50 (2-3)

Aside from my interest in Inter, I’m sticking strictly to the MLS today. The home side is on quite a tear, coming off five straight league wins without letting a single goal slip past them—they've shut out teams like Charleroi, Waregem, Cercle Brugge, Lokeren, and Oostende. They're currently sitting ten points clear at the top of the table.

On the other hand, Cincinnati just played to a 1-1 draw at home against Lokeren, and before that, they were stuck in two scoreless stalemates—one away in the league against Oostende and another in the cup against Waregem. Their last actual win came back on February 12th against Leuven with a 2-0 scoreline.

Looking at the head-to-head history, Standard has been the stronger side lately. The odds seem decent enough, and I have a feeling this one should land in our favor.

The Wolves are starting to find their footing again, though I don't trust them quite enough yet to bet on them outright. Both sides seem to have plenty of firepower, but they also can't seem to keep a clean sheet to save their lives.

The Leverkusen crew seems to realize that chasing a Champions League spot might be a bit too ambitious right now, so I suspect they'll put their energy back into the domestic league. They really need to defend that runner-up spot—especially since Dortmund will likely cruise past a struggling Hamburg side today—and I doubt they want to suffer another back-to-back loss like that 1-2 stumble against Schalke.

Both these teams make for an interesting matchup, and here is how they've fared against each other:

Everything feels pretty much the same as last time, from the odds to how much these teams actually care about the result. Barca knocked Real out of the cup (2:0, 1:1) and since then they’ve been tearing it up, crushing Vallecanos (6:0) and taking down Man City (2:0). Meanwhile, Real just scraped by Malaga on the road with a 1:0 win.
The odds on over 2.5 goals seem a little too thin for my liking, so I think I'll just stick to my usual guns and back the home side.

San Jose Earthquakes vs. Chicago Fire 1 @ 1.50 (2-1)
USL Championship, 5:00 PM

There’s only one spot available for promotion to the top flight, and honestly, it’s going to be either Vaduz or San Jose.


I’d much rather see them facing someone sitting comfortably in the middle of the pack, mostly because I have a personal vendetta against playing teams that are just fighting for survival. But then again, maybe that 30-point gap in the standings actually means something regarding the quality of these sides, so I'm hopeful they stay focused enough to pull off a win at home. San Jose managed 2-1 and 1-0 wins in their last two outings, and if they can replicate that kind of grit today, we might be in for something interesting.

Schalke vs. Mainz, Under 2.5 goals at 1.75

The home manager, Keller, is making sure everyone knows he isn't sleeping on Mainz, even though he’s pretty damn aware his Schalke squad is hitting their stride right now.


It feels like forever since they pulled off five straight wins back in the 2001/02 season, but looking at how things are moving, we might actually see a repeat today. Keller seems genuinely happy with the grit the guys are showing in practice, Draxler is finally back in the mix after being sidelined, and honestly, the vibes in the locker room are just solid.

The visitors aren't exactly pushovers either, though they'll likely be feeling the absence of Joo-Ho Park on the pitch today.

If you just glance at the standings, you pretty much have your answer. There are going to be plenty of goals here, if not even more than we expect.
Eindhoven hasn't exactly been playing like world champions lately, but I suppose even a losing streak has to end eventually; they’ve dropped their last three, yet somehow managed to find the back of the net in each one. Meanwhile, the visitors seem to be leaking goals like a sieve, so I'm banking on that trend continuing tonight.
The odds aren't exactly massive, and honestly, looking at how the home side is struggling, it might actually be the smarter play to just bet on an away win. But nothing in life is ever certain—not even whether I'll make it to my dinner reservation by 7:30—so I think I'll just stick to the goal totals instead.

Arsenal vs. Bayern Munich: Both teams to score in both halves - YES @ 1.45

I’m not sure what there is left to say about the lineups when we basically know everything there is to know about these two sides. This time last year, Bayern walked away with a 3-1 win, where both halves ended up seeing two goals apiece. Personally, I think Arsène Wenger will be playing a much smarter tactical game today against a powerhouse like Bayern Munich. Flamini should be useful defensively, though he'll probably pick up a yellow card just for being himself. It’s a shame Aaron Ramsey isn't in the mix, but my money is mostly on Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky—though I suspect Mesut Özil might just stick to his usual "flop" routine. And I can only hope that the unreliable Olivier Giroud has finally gotten his head straight and won't be distracted by anything other than the pitch today.
Like I mentioned before, I really believe Wenger will be more tactically disciplined than he was last year, so I don't see them conceding three goals this time around.
As for Bayern Munich, Pep Guardiola essentially has whatever he wants at his disposal. However, if he decides to play Mario Götze as a false nine instead of Mario Mandžukić, he’s being an idiot, because Laurent Koscielny is going to absolutely eat him alive. Arjen Robben remains a constant threat with that relentless pace; they're likely the favorites to take it all.

I'm just hoping for a better quality match than that mess between Manchester City and FC Barcelona.

Even though Atletico Madrid is the favorite today, I’m opting for something a bit more conservative than a straight win.

Honestly, I don't think Seedorf is going to be reckless here; he clearly knows he doesn't have the personnel to outplay Atletico, so I expect him to settle for a defensive setup focused on counter-attacks.

Diego Simeone is preaching caution and concentration. He’s also claiming there are no favorites today, but my gut tells me that Diego Costa, Diego, Coca-Cola, and the rest will look to exploit the current vulnerabilities in the AC Milan squad.

The odds aren't massive, but then again, this isn't exactly an easy match to call.

Sevilla vs. Valencia - Over 2.5 goals & Both Teams to Score @ 1.95 > (0-0) // The odds might be slightly better on a state lottery app, but their site is acting up right now and I can't get in.




I think I’ve watched more Sevilla games than anyone else this season, and honestly, they're a pretty fun bunch to follow. They play with this aggressive, attacking mindset—sometimes bordering on reckless, actually—creating endless chances and missing just as many, yet somehow always finding a way to score. If they just had one clinical striker at the helm, they’d probably be sitting much higher in the standings.
I haven't kept as close an eye on Valencia, maybe catching just a few matches, and they strike me as a bit inconsistent. That said, they’ve found some decent rhythm lately; they have a couple of standout players and seem to be scoring quite frequently too.

If you look at the screenshot above, four out of their last five head-to-head matchups have hit the over 2.5 goal mark.

Arsenal-Liverpool Over 2.5 Goals @ 1.90 (2-1)

I’m running a little behind on my analysis here, but I figured I should probably throw this out there anyway.
Like someone else already pointed out, Wenger will likely be rotating a few players today. Here’s what the lineup might look like:
Sagna, Vermaelen, Koscielny, Monreal
Flamini, Wilshere
Ox-Chamberlain, Ozil, Podolski
Bendtner or Sanogo
It doesn't make much sense to rest the goalkeeper, but since word is out that Szczesny might get a breather too, I just skipped over that spot entirely.
Rodgers, on the other hand, isn't sweating the rotation one bit because he doesn't have anything to protect except for domestic cup runs. That 5-1 win against the Gunners was a total blowout, but Liverpool also put three past Fulham, one past West Brom, and four through Everton. Between that hunger for revenge and their current momentum, I’m expecting plenty of goals.

Quick heads-up for the mods: the final score for the Mainz vs. Hannover game was 2-0, but my account is still showing it as 2-1. 😉

It looks like there’s been plenty of chatter regarding Mainz and Hannover lately, and honestly, I think we might have a real three-goal thriller on our hands here. 😁

You also have to keep in mind that neither of these teams is exactly a powerhouse you can rely on to park the bus or play defensive soccer every week.

It feels like this could easily slide into an Over 2.5 scenario, but honestly, 1.45 is a solid price if you're just betting on both sides to score. It’s just a friendly match, so I won't try to overthink things or act like there's some deep tactical masterclass happening here. Looking at how these two sides have been playing lately, it seems pretty obvious that they aren't shy about finding the back of the net. While my gut tells me the home side might pull off the win, I decided to play it safe and just go with the goals instead. In their last two outings, Rosenborg put up eight goals, while Djurgården managed nine, so given how thin the soccer schedule is today, this feels like a decent little play to take a shot at.

The first leg definitely swung in Barcelona's favor, though I can't help but feel a bit cheated by how it unfolded. Instead of seeing a penalty called and Mascherano getting sent off, it was Martinez who took the red card, and then we had to sit through that absolutely wild own goal from Zubikarai.
It’s pretty obvious that Barcelona is the superior side—even if they are starting to look a little leggy lately—but I have a decent amount of faith in the offensive firepower over at Real Sociedad, especially playing in front of their home crowd. They haven't tasted defeat against Barcelona on their own turf in seven years, and you can tell they're hungry for some payback and aren't going to just roll over. I suspect Griezmann and Vela are going to be absolutely flying tonight.

I’m back at it again, trying my hand at predicting goal counts, though I think I’m pivoting toward the German Bundesliga this time around. The home manager is out there talking a big game about securing a win and finally breaking this old curse—apparently, they haven't managed to beat these visitors on their own turf in nearly 25 years, which is a pretty embarrassing run. Dortmund hasn't had much luck over the last couple of matchdays, and things aren't getting any easier today since they'll be missing their right back, Korb, while Stranzl and Brouwers are both looking questionable.
On the other side, Hyypia isn't dealing with any major injury concerns and is openly predicting a high-scoring affair.

I honestly can't tell you if we're looking at a quiet 1-0 affair or an absolute blowout with six or more, but looking strictly at the league stats, these teams have seen 152 goals across their last 41 matches, which is a massive amount. The MLS has been surprisingly reliable lately when it comes to goal-heavy predictions, so I figured I'd take another swing at the Over 3.5 line today.
For those feeling a bit more adventurous, there's a decent price on the Over 3.5 at 2.20.

Time to chase some small gains again.

Barcelona vs. Real Sociedad, Over 2.5 goals, @ 2.05 (checking the spread on DraftKings, but I didn't dig too deep) (Final: 2-0)



Barcelona is definitely going to be hunting for a win after that embarrassing home loss to Valencia. I expect Pinto back in goal, Alba will likely be tasked with keeping Vela in check, and we’ll probably see Busquets get the nod over Song—though there's a decent chance Iniesta starts right out of the gate. With Messi on the pitch, Sanchez should find plenty of service. Looking at the recent history at Camp Nou, Sociedad has surrendered 11 goals in their last three visits (4:1, 5:1, and 2:1). Even though they took a 4:0 hit against Atletico, I still view Real as a solid squad. They tend to average nearly two goals a game in the league. I’m just hoping they learned a few lessons from that Valencia match last weekend so they can actually find the back of the net today, especially since this is a two-legged affair.
