It really ticked me off once when we tried to get in after a show (around 2:30 AM on a Saturday) and the guy tried to charge us $23 for admission even though the concert was already over. Seriously, give me a break.
Then there are those weird women hitting the paper holders 😁, some arrogant guy working the floor, and a bartender who looks at you like you're some kind of idiot. Maybe things have changed, who knows...

And don't even get me started on how they seem to suck up to Rammstein 😁

I’m hoping they put Alias on streaming, maybe somewhere like Peacock or Hulu, just so I can watch it on my own terms. I actually skipped the last three seasons because I missed those first few episodes and felt totally lost... So, I'll probably just wait until summer when they start running reruns (since they rerun everything eventually). But then summer rolls around, there isn't a single rerun in sight, they air it at some random, terrible time during the second quarter of the season, and then—poof—the show just vanishes...
I thought about emailing ABC to file a complaint, or something along those lines, but I changed my mind. I had just sent an email regarding that show 'my wife and child' which I actually liked, asking them to air more reruns (they've let me down enough times already)... And the response I got? Well, I don't recall the exact wording, but it was clearly an automated reply. Nobody actually read it, and nobody ever will. Honestly, complaining is just a waste of breath...

I’d probably put $500,000 into index funds, maybe $400,000 into individual stocks, and use the remaining $100,000 to actually enjoy life—traveling, maybe adopting some rescues, you name it... Once I’d built up a decent cushion from those initial investments, I might open a small boutique, but strictly using the profits. That core $900,000 would stay untouched, unless absolutely necessary.

The first time they slid under my eyelid, we actually ended up in the ER because I couldn't get them out for hours. The nurse at the hospital actually laughed at me. Especially when I asked for anesthesia! 😁

My prescription shot up drastically during puberty—which isn't exactly surprising—but I refused to wear glasses back then, and my parents just wouldn't believe I'd actually commit to contacts. It jumped by quite a bit... maybe 2.00 diopters? Now my left eye is over -5.00, and the right is somewhere around -4.50 or -4.75, plus those annoying cylinders that I don't even fully understand. I've been wearing lenses for about four and a half years now. As far as I know, my prescription hasn't budged since then. I wear soft lenses. My first pair came from a private clinic, and honestly, it was a disaster. They were poorly fitted—a different doctor explained later that they were ground incorrectly—so they never sat right on my eyes. Tears would just pool underneath and everything would get "foggy." It drove me crazy... I ended up rubbing my eyes constantly and causing so much irritation. I wore those for nearly two years. Eventually, I went to the hospital (my insurance covers part of it) and I couldn't be happier with them. It'll be almost three years since I switched, if I'm counting right. They feel perfect... I have no intention of changing anything.
I use Total Care products. They last a long time. And glasses? I can't stand wearing them anymore.
I've been thinking about laser surgery for ages. It would be such a relief... I heard it costs about $1,500 per eye, so $3,000 total. Still, the idea of the laser itself scares me a little... Might even have to take out a small loan for it...
