Absolutely incredible movie!
Honestly, one of the best and most beautiful things I've seen in years... it just totally hit me right in the feels.
I actually really liked the movie. I don't know, the plot felt pretty decent and the production was solid enough (though I haven't read the book or anything...), even though I honestly thought the shallow characters were going to make my brain melt...
Look, as a massive Harry Potter fan (I've been reading since I was, like, nine or ten), obviously the Books Books and always Books are better. They're the real deal. But thank God I'm NOT one of those obsessive fans who loses their mind over the movies, whining like, "Oh my god, how could they change this? They cut the part where Harry said 'wow'! This is a disaster!" When I sit down to watch a movie, I just gear up, chill out, and enjoy it. The book and the film are two totally different mediums, and honestly, you can never literally turn a book into a movie. If you did, it wouldn't even be the same thing anymore.
Personally, my favorite parts are the Third, Fourth, and Sixth, but the Third movie is definitely my favorite (CUARON RULZ!!!), followed by the fourth one.
It's mostly just FEAR. That’s the whole foundation right there.
