Bolero is still the go-to, more than ever.👍
Check out the first few pages; there’s a whole list of bands and local spots to browse through.
Don't bother looking at the prices, though—everything has changed quite a bit since then.😁

Also, maybe clear out your inbox a bit.🤔

rapidhawk26 said:Hey everyone, does anyone happen to have a ballpark idea of what it costs to rent a motorcoach—something that fits about 40 to 50 people—for a trip from San Francisco over to Manhattan? Also, if you could point me toward a reliable rental company or someone worth contacting, I’d truly appreciate it. Thanks for any insight you can share.

😲 Honestly, I have no clue
but maybe just Google "charter bus rentals"
I'm pretty sure most private motorcoach companies offer rentals😉

unless they completely rethink the whole floor plan🤷

That hall holds 350, but only if you ditch the round tables.😉

silentpuma28 said:From what I know, the Phoenix Ballroom is good for a crowd that size—maybe the Holy Cross venue...
I don't think Dolis is 🤷

What about Fabula? Or those Robot Girls????

Yeah, Dolis can handle that crowd.
As for Fabula, I'm not sure, and I doubt the robots either.
But honestly, everything you need is right at the start of the thread—just check the first ten pages.🤷

Sophia Gray2 said:Thanks so much, ladies. He told me that if there are only three drunks left on the stage acting like idiots, then things will stay put. That’s how they decided, and I can't really argue with that. That's just their rules. Look, I know they're great and all, but I was honestly a little worried about being stuck there from 9 to 4. Thanks again, everyone. You guys are the best! Love ya!

Send a DM to Raymond Brooks7. He’ll give you the full rundown.😉

Sophia Gray2 I think stopping at 4 is fine, but honestly, try to talk them into staying for another thirty minutes just to be safe. It won't hurt.😉
I went to a party back in October where The Beatles were playing, and you seriously won't regret it. They played everything from international hits to local favorites and kept the energy incredible. Don't stress about the music side of things.😉
Anyway, try to squeeze out that extra half hour. If they promised to stick around if the vibe stays good, then go for it.😉

Rebecca Nelson59 said:I’m curious about that gusar situation myself—and is there any truth to the rumor that they won't take reservations on Saturday nights if the turnout is under 150 people?🤷

You can have fewer than 150 people at a party and still blow that much on payroll. It doesn't add up.👍
Honestly, I’m at a total loss. I don't even know where to start anymore.😉

Rebecca Nelson59 said:Greetings, everyone! I’ve been lurking on this forum for quite some time now—and honestly, thank you all—you’ve been an absolute lifesaver. I feel like I’ve finally tracked down everything I needed to know. There is just one glaring omission in my research: I haven't managed to snag the contact numbers for the makeup artists. Specifically, those names you keep mentioning—Antonije Guć and Goga—so if anyone would be kind enough to pass their info along, I would be incredibly grateful! I’m getting married next May, and since I am—admittedly—a total perfectionist when it comes to the details, I figured it’s better to start the grind early.

I sent you Goga's number, but someone else from the group will probably get you Antonije Guć's info.😉>

redviper17 said:Hey everyone, does anyone here have much experience working with local print shops?
I was wondering how much it would actually run if I
just brought in my own materials to be printed?
Just looking for some info for the San Francisco area! 🙂

I’d guess printing runs around $250, $100but honestly, it all depends on the volume.
I’ve heard rumors about crossing the border with instruments—apparently, there’s an extra fee involved, though I assume it’s the band picking up the tab rather than you personally.😉

Eric Allen4 said:Uh, Jacob Harris88, this is honestly pathetic. They’re behaving absolutely disgracefully! If you happen to need a contact number for any of their management—I have quite a few on hand—just let me know. Hopefully, they'll finally come to their senses. I mean, they've completely lost it!!!

Someone should PM her right now if they know when you guys are meeting up on the forum.😉

Anchovy from Savannah, Grasha, have you seen this?

Quick question—someone recommended using Magazine Photo Studio to me. Has anyone here actually used them before? Just wondering if they're any good.

Thanks 🙂🙂🙂🙂

Unfortunately, I've never heard of them. Where are they located?
Can't sleep. Any tips? in Health ·
Rebecca Scott You aren't alone. It sounds exactly like my best friend—she’s completely non-functional unless she gets at least 12 hours of sleep. So, you're definitely in good company.😍
Austin Sanchez9 said:Catering recommendations?

Does anyone have suggestions regarding menus or pricing?

I would truly appreciate any guidance you could offer.

There’s been plenty of discussion about catering here; just scroll back a bit and you’ll find it.👍

Austin Sanchez9 said:Either May 23rd or May 30th. We still need to coordinate with the church and the venue, though I expect the hall will be great.

I agree that Viva is fantastic, but $2,500 is quite a significant amount.😲😲😲

I know, I know. I thought the exact same thing before I headed out to the pier where they were playing.😉

Austin Sanchez9 said:Since they perform both as a full band and as a duo, it seems there is some level of satisfaction there. I would personally love to experience Viva, but the costs are simply too high for me right now. My partner is keen on seeing them, so we are currently trying to figure out our options and see what might be possible.

What date are you looking at?
I just got back from a party where Viva played, and man, they were incredible. They are worth every single cent. 🙏🙏🙏

There was some mention of them before—was it Duo Ferrata? I think she was confused about whether they were the ones, but she seemed really happy if it was them.😉

Unfortunately, I don't know,
but hopefully someone will chime in if they do.😢 👍
I've never heard of the Polar Group.🤷
