It’s not like they have some crystal ball telling them exactly when a breakdown is going to happen. 🤷

I have spent a significant amount of time delving into various conspiracy theories, and I frequently immerse myself in books regarding spirituality. I also make a conscious effort to practice meditation 😢, as I am truly striving toward a deeper level of spiritual growth.
My question is this: does my passion for computer games somehow undermine my spiritual journey? Should I consider giving it up entirely? If I were to stop, I suspect it would be an incredibly difficult transition for me to navigate.

For me, the absolute best part of being on the mod team—and honestly the main reason I signed up in the first place—is the organization. Moving threads around, merging them, renaming things, opening new sections... all that stuff that eventually turns a messy subforum into something actually readable.
Yeah, yeah, I know. To most people, that sounds borderline obsessive-compulsive 😁 but it’s what keeps me going. I live for structure and perfect order. Call me a perfectionist or a nitpicker if you want, because that's exactly what I am when it comes to this kind of thing.
About two years back, I used to hang out in one particular subforum constantly. It was a total disaster zone. Threads were scattered everywhere, there were tons of duplicates, and finding anything useful felt like searching through a junk drawer. Even though I was just a regular user back then, my brain wouldn't stop spinning with ideas on how to fix the mess. I eventually put together some concrete suggestions and was getting ready to pitch them to the moderator. He seemed like a decent, approachable guy, but clearly, he didn't have much time for the job; he’d only pop in maybe once a week for a quick check.
Then, that same evening, I get a DM from him asking if I’d be interested in joining the moderation team. 🤣
Of course, I jumped at the chance. I rolled up my sleeves, dove headfirst into the work 🙂 and before long, I was actually feeling pretty good about what we had accomplished.
With a little extra effort and some serious time investment, working alongside a few other mods, we managed to spin up a brand new niche subforum for Hiking. That had always been a dream of mine—creating a dedicated space where hikers could actually connect and swap useful info.
So, those two things—keeping everything tidy, structured, and grammatically correct 😬 and fighting to get that hiking section launched—were my big drivers. They were the whole reason I took on this "high-paying" gig.
Susan Lee said:I guess she’s just trying to make an even more extreme, brutalized movie about Mexicans to outdo all the other Hollywood movies on the subject. If she hits it big, she’ll be raking in massive amounts of cash.
And if she ended up acting in it while some huge Hollywood star played the part of the Mexican committing the assault... man, she'd basically own the industry.

.. I don't get people who obsess over what happens to them after they're gone (🤣)—where they end up buried, what people say about them, whether anyone cries, all that nonsense. When I'm gone, I'm gone. Whether I'm in a cemetery or scattered over the Pacific doesn't matter to me..Particularly I have zero desire for my kids to weep over me (I have two)... quite the opposite, actually. If they remember me, I'd rather an occasional smile hit their face alongside the nostalgia..
Regarding this whole concept of children "owing" their parents (which seems to be the core of the argument about having five kids)—I think that "debt" isn't paid back to the parents, but through how we care for our own children. Our parents looked after us, so we look after ours, and the cycle continues. There is no such thing as a debt owed to a parent. It's one of the most absurd ideas out there, and it's pathetic that it persists as "truth" in so many parents' minds 👎
