Do you think they’re gonna hand out those wristbands right at 8:00 AM sharp, or is there a chance it'll drag on until closer to noon? From what I gathered, there are about 1,500 of them, so honestly, it feels like they could probably knock that out pretty quick if they get moving.
slymarlin382 said:Look, Jose James15, the cleaning itself didn't really hurt that much, but then the doctor got caught up chatting with my mom and completely forgot to tell me if he actually left a gauze strip in my nose... honestly, it freaked me out. Like, what does that even mean??? Am I just walking around with a piece of gauze somewhere hacking away inside my nose??? And anyway, when he did the first cleaning, he didn't see anything, but during the second one... well, then he pulled it out... it absolutely terrified me... what if there’s still more gauze stuck somewhere he couldn't find or something like that!!!
Basically, it was such a terrifying feeling because I was just panicking... the doctor told me it wouldn't matter either way and that the gauze stays in there to prevent things from drying out or being coughed up, and that it can't somehow travel into my sinuses or my brain because the nose is only connected to the throat, so I'd just end up coughing it up.

I have to say something about this. I really do. This exact same thing happened to the doctor mentioned here, just with a much more tragic ending. In my case, a tiny little piece was being dragged around my nose unnoticed for two whole weeks, and I kept going in for cleanings which obviously just pushed it deeper. And even now, eight months after my surgery, my right nostril is still deformed.
Maybe try talking a little less while you're actually working on patients? Just a thought.

It’s absolutely killer! Honestly, I am just floored by this one. It blew my expectations out of the water—like, way past what I thought was possible. Such a massive surprise. 👍10/10

I am just covered in pimples, it's actually gross. I never dealt with acne before this, and honestly, my face feels a little tight... but I'm sure it'll pass eventually.🙂

I seriously cannot believe this! It’s been three months for me, and I’ve never had a single breakout in my life, but after the surgery? It’s been absolutely revolting! Re-vol-ting! I have zero clue why this is even happening!😕 It was just... boom. Out of nowhere.

At the end of the day, he’s a doctor, not some random lady at a flea market shouting at you because you didn't buy her overpriced trinkets.

Maybe he's just covering something up... I don't know. I actually went and checked out his website, and there isn't a single profile shot. Even the stuff he did post looks... questionable, if you catch my drift.

So, what am I supposed to do now? Lord help me.
Ladies, if you've been in his chair and you're actually happy, please—for the love of everything—post some before and after photos. We need to know if it's even worth stepping foot in that office. Please!

And what would you even do about a nose job, m.star?

I was debating whether to chime in here, but I remember how much I needed every scrap of info before my own surgery. So, I'll just lay it out. I had my procedure done by Dr. Glusac. To be blunt, I'm not exactly thrilled. It's been three months, and my experience has been pretty negative, even though I'm sure some people have had better luck. Was it just bad luck, or is the doctor the problem? 🙂 Honestly, who knows. 🙂
Jeans recommendations? in Fashion ·
Thomas Collins60 said:I honestly think "Lynn" is a password—it feels like one. You see stuff like that with Mustang, too. It’s like these female names just become codes for everything, or at least that's what I've noticed from what I've seen.
I’m totally digging those boots—honestly, I might have to go check out the Wranglers after the weekend is over. Thanks for the tip! 🙏 Mustangs look amazing on me—like, they fit perfectly around my calves—but honestly? They’re a total disaster for my backside. They just squeeze and flatten everything out in all the wrong ways. 👎

Look, those jeans are absolute garbage. ZERO value. NOTHING! I have that exact pair right now and they are low-quality junk. They stretched out completely after the very first time I wore them. A total catastrophe. I kept wearing them for a few months anyway, but let me tell you—they are nowhere near "good" jeans. I don't know what everyone else looks for in denim, but these are my second pair of Lee jeans and definitely my last.
Period talk: Questions and advice in Women's Health ·
Karen Rivera71 said:I mean, honestly, how can any sane person even think about having sex during a period? It’s basically the one time a woman is just trying to reset and clear everything out, and you guys just can't seem to hold it together. Plus, it's pretty ridiculous that someone your age doesn't grasp the basics... this feels more like a conversation for teenagers.

Thanks for all the input!
But if we're talking about fleas, shouldn't they actually be... visible? 😕 Like, wouldn't you spot them crawling on the bedsheets at night? 🤷 Plus, my dog is totally flea-free—I've checked. He’s never had them, and I haven't seen a single flea in sight. But today? My arms are absolutely shredded from bites. I'm talking like 40 little stabs on just one upper arm. 🙂 We've spent countless nights scouring the beds and found nothing. My mom has been seeing doctors for months now, and nobody can figure out what this is.
Honestly, I might just pack up and move in with my boyfriend. 😁 Yeah.

Alright... I'm at my breaking point. Something is seriously eating me alive.
For over six months now, I’ve been dealing with this constant, nagging sensation at night—like something is biting or stinging me. It feels like bugs. At least, that’s my best guess. And it only happens when I’m tucked into my own bed at home. My parents are going through the exact same thing. The bites feel just like mosquito stings, but they are incredibly, indescribably itchy. Most of them are concentrated on my legs. I’m honestly at a loss, 🤷 I’m actually terrified to go to bed because once I start scratching, there's no way I'm getting any sleep. Then, when I finally do drift off, I wake up in the morning with at least 20 new bites. I went to see a dermatologist, and after checking both me and my mom, he was convinced it’s some kind of insect and suggested we try to hunt them down in the bed during the night. But we haven't found a single thing. 🤷
Has anyone else dealt with anything like this?

The Grudge is actually pretty solid. Honestly, you really need to watch it on a big screen with a full surround sound setup to get the full effect. 😬 Anyway... just crank up the volume on that TV

Thinking about trying drugs in Health ·
I feel like you’re totally overlooking the fact that people don't just pop a pill or try a substance solely to "get high"—it's not an either/or situation. It’s not like using drugs automatically means someone is incapable of having a good time sober; it could be that they actually *need* it to reach that level of fun in the first place.

I completely agree with you, but look at the world we live in... one bad influence leads to another. What's truly pathetic is that fools don't know when to quit, and with the kind of garbage being sold these days, things can go south fast.
Now... I'm not sure if that's actually a result of toxic "friendships" or if people genuinely find satisfaction in them? Though I used to think it wasn't a factor. You just shouldn't have friends who pressure you into trying harder stuff.

I don't get why weed isn't enough. You've got a smile on your face and you're satisfied... what more could someone want?
If anyone tries to argue that weed is a gateway drug, they can honestly go jump in a lake.

I quoted you for no particular reason...

In my experience, I see way more people who try this stuff out for a bit and then just move on, rather than the ones who actually double down on the nonsense. It's just that the loudmouths—the ones sticking to the script—are always the ones making all the noise...
Waking up exhausted in Health ·
coppergardener said:Look, the main thing is you’ve gotta chill out—you're way too wound up. I don't even know what to tell you; it's hard for me to wrap my head around it too. Sometimes a little calming tea helps (think chamomile, lemon balm, lavender stuff...), or maybe some baby teas like fennel & anise. Or even essential oils in a diffuser—orange clears the head, lavender and melissa soothe the nerves, and lemon is nice, though I'd stick to daytime for that one. Just lie down for thirty seconds and take 8 to 10 deep breaths. I personally breathe way too shallowly, and honestly, some people just have to actually learn how to breathe.

Are you moving enough during the day? If you get a little stroll in or stretch out, you'll find it easier to unwind and crash later, but don't go hitting the gym right before bed.

By the way, I live in this classic tiny dorm room—like a 6x6 box where I've crammed a TV, laptop, microwave, mini-fridge, kettle, hot water heater, and a bunch of other junk. Everything is basically hovering over my head while I sleep. I realized I feel totally trashed if I leave everything "on" or even just on "standby." It’s like an electromagnetic storm is happening right above me (you ever notice how a radio or computer still makes that faint hum even when they're just idling?). It would be a good idea to get used to clicking the power button on the TV, definitely kill the Wi-Fi switch on your laptop, or unplug the microwave/radio cord from the wall. Even having a lamp right next to your pillow isn't the smartest move.

This is actually 100% true. I remember back in high school, my physics teacher used to explain that we'd sleep way more peacefully if we just unplugged everything from the outlets. I was so confused for the next two days until I realized I actually slept like a baby that night. Now, it's just a habit.
I've also noticed I sleep much better when my room is "reset." Clean sheets, no random papers scattered everywhere, maybe my mom sprays a bit of lavender 😉 ...and so on.
Lately, I've been waking up feeling groggy because I'm just not a fan of spring and the stress that comes with it, so a cup of tea before bed or some warm milk, if that's your thing, helps quite a bit.
Tattoo removal advice? in Health ·
David Roberts said:👋
Lately, I've been lowkey obsessed with getting tattoos—like, seriously. But here’s the catch—I get bored of basically everything *way* too fast, so I'm kinda spiraling thinking about getting inked at 19 and being stuck with some random design forever. 🙄 So now, I'm looking into bio-tattoos instead...

Has anyone actually tried them? Like, do they really just "vanish" after a while, and what does it look like when the ink starts fading out?? 😬

It's uneven. 😉
In my humble opinion... bio-tattoos are total garbage. If you want ink, get some real ink done properly. If you love tattoos... if you actually *want* them... but then you're sitting there worrying about whether you'll get bored of it? Then tattoos just aren't your thing.
Motion sickness while driving in Health ·
I’ve been struggling with this my entire life. When I’m behind the wheel, everything is totally fine. But the second someone else takes over? It’s game over. Total misery. I have to rely on motion sickness pills, blasting music, staring straight ahead—basically anything to distract myself. And whatever you do, do NOT try reading while the car is moving. Honestly, the best strategy is just to pass out as fast as possible. 🙂
