Nickname change (read first post!)

I’ve already swapped my avatar, wiped every single post that might link back to who I am, and updated my signature too. All I really need now is to change my username—it would actually mean the world to me if you could help with that. 🙂
The new handle will share the first three letters of my old one, but honestly, since the professors are active on this thread, I can't risk them figuring out it's me. By now, I've branched out to other threads anyway, and like I said, the old posts are gone. I hope you get where I'm coming from, even if I understand your point. 🙂
Edit: I'm in high school right now. If this blows up, I could actually face disciplinary action and miss my graduation. It sounds ridiculous to some, I know, but for me? It's real life.
I'm sorry, but the rules apply to everyone on Reddit equally. The whole reason we have these policies regarding name changes is to ensure a user stays identifiable after the switch. You should have thought about the consequences before posting; now, you have to own what you wrote and take responsibility for it.
