Two ways to absolutely wreck a guitar at a party

1. Smash it straight onto the floor
2. Take it out on whoever started playing first

Pavement: Carrot Rope
Cyndi Lauper: The Goonies 'R' Good Enough
Six Pack: Silver Flyer
Cake: She's Going to Heaven
Fun Lovin' Criminals: Scooby Snacks

Sandra King86, you should really consider running for office! 😁
It looks like you missed my point entirely

But why the defensive attitude, if you don't mind me asking?

I kind of enjoy being the center of attention in every room I walk into.
Well, look, if nothing else, at least we can use Thompson and Skoro to fight back against the populists.

It feels like our local culture bothers me more than those damn obnoxious songs, but whatever.
I thought maybe someone would suggest a way to deal with it other than just tuning it out (since you can't exactly ignore everything), but it seems you all have built up much better immunity than I have—probably because you aren't stuck dealing with this every single day.

as if Americans are somehow more sophisticated... modern R&B isn't actually that different from the trash we hear here..
Sandra King86 said:The war is over. We can't just use it as an excuse forever.
When is everything actually going to get back to normal?

Look, if it's weighing on you that much, why don't you just go out there and fix it yourself?
Sandra King86 said:But honestly, the Midwest—specifically places like Des Moines, some small town, USA, and Indianapolis—was just incredible. 😲
I don't have many memories of the Midwest from back in the day, but what I’ve experienced lately... 👎 (it reminds me of how we see Romania).
I can't tell if it's leftover effects from the War or what?

Nah, that's just cosmic forces at work.

Exactly. It’s just more Sabines whining about the worst band ever... honestly, it’s just further proof that Italians should probably stick to soundtracks and stay far away from anything else. I really hope they don't try to pull that same stunt again like they promised last year. 🙂
