Why is Jack Sparrow at the very top? Honestly, he shouldn't even be on this list—that arrogant jerk.

But I know for a fact I saw Quentin Tarantino's name in the credits! Regardless, he's not relevant here—as for "Lake Placid," it starts off with a bang, but honestly, it gets pretty dull after a while.

I've been thinking about this quite a bit lately—and honestly, it’s one of those topics that just keeps resurfacing in my mind! It’s funny how certain ideas seem to stick, much like a catchy tune you can't shake after hearing it just once. I feel like we often overlook the nuances here, but if you really dig into the details—much like a detective working a cold case—you start to see a completely different picture emerging. It’s all about perspective, isn't it? kaže:

Then what on earth were they thinking when they credited Quentin Tarantino for the script—was he just acting as a producer or something?

The movie kicks off feeling like a gritty, turn-of-the-millennium mashup of Duel and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre—just two young kids messing with a black van driven by some guy in a hat.
Then, right when you're halfway through, that mysterious driver gets absolutely crushed by a car, only to pop back up, transform into this massive, winged monster, and take to the skies.
I want my money back.

Well, I mean, what exactly were you expecting when Quentin Tarantino is involved in the script?🤷 To me, the Pirates of the Caribbean vibe at the start was pretty engaging, but by the end, I was almost in tears over such a bad ending $6.75.

Judging by the trailer, the lead actor doesn't quite capture the essence of 47. Honestly, if he just ditched the eyebrow, we might actually be getting somewhere here. 🤔 image
😁

It feels more like they cast an actress than an actor here; they really could have picked someone with a much tougher edge.

Man, it’s like going to a local grocery store for $3.00 and finding the shelves completely stripped bare—I honestly think they aren't even stocking empty boxes anymore! But hey, at least I'm not the only one still rocking those old tapes, right?

It looks like Sylvester Stallone is really getting fired up about making some sequels lately...

Maybe it’ll be called: "Alarm in a Nursing Home." 😁

They actually end up chasing each other around in wheelchairs—it's wild! Honestly, I thought the movie was great—way better than something like Kill Bill or that kind of garbage. It’s just a solid, old-school action flick—you know, the kind where people don't start flying around or dealing with all that ridiculous sci-fi nonsense. Just pure, traditional action.

When you write a longer sentence, try using a comma after a while—just stick it right after the word without a space.
The same goes for periods at the end of a sentence (again, no space before it), followed by a single space before starting the next one. Think of the period as a little mercy for us masochists trying to untangle your chaotic thoughts—it helps us figure out where one crazy idea ends and the next begins!
You don't have to obsess over capitalization here, but in any other setting, you probably should.
Just so I don't drift too far off topic, I think even Michael Myers started out writing just like our friend Nathan Myers28 😛 😠

Except I definitely won't be murdering my own family.

Are you actually losing your mind here? 😲
And seriously—use some punctuation! "Put your insane leaking brain back into its spongebag," 😈 please.

I have absolutely no clue what brains have to do with this movie—and as for the grammar, a period usually follows "vs." Honestly, go back to school. I couldn't care less about getting banned anyway; I’m already halfway out the door. Go jump in a lake. Ah, much better. Now I feel great.

redwalker6 said:Michael isn't even really human—he's supposedly this Boogeyman figure, which honestly makes him a pretty repetitive killer. I'm totally with Constantine here; Jason is definitely a step up from Michael.

We seriously need a massive crossover movie—something like Freddy vs. Jason vs. Michael vs. Leatherface vs. Pinhead! Imagine this: Jason is busy tearing into Freddy, then suddenly Michael sneaks up behind him and stabs him with a knife! Jason catches him and slams him against a wall, but then Freddy leans against a door just as Leatherface bursts through, revving a chainsaw and slicing right through him! Then Leatherface goes for Jason and hacks off his arm, but Freddy lunges at Michael—only for Michael to rip Freddy's arm clean off, causing a new one to grow back instantly! It gets wilder: Leatherface cuts Jason's leg, sending him crashing down, but Jason grabs hold of Leatherface and tries to tear his head off—until Pinhead shows up out of nowhere, wraps everyone in chains, and shreds them all to pieces!

I mean, think about it—when you're dealing with Jason as a zombie versus Michael, who is just a regular guy (okay, maybe not exactly "regular," but you get my point)!
Original Poster:Rob Zombie
Cast:Dwayne Johnson (a detective specializing in psychopaths), Ron Perlman (his secretary), Wesley Snipes (the cleaner), Vin Diesel (the getaway driver), Danny DeVito (the plumber), Dave Grohl (the gardener), Brad Pitt (the ultimate nemesis), and Leonardo DiCaprio (the guy everyone ends up beating up)
The movie would be titled "Chainsaws Fly Early"
So, here’s the pitch—Dwayne Johnson starts off by slamming his keyboard against his desk in a rage—and then suddenly, DiCaprio bursts into his office! Just as Dwayne is about to absolutely wreck him, Ron Perlman interrupts to say Brad Pitt is waiting outside with a combine harvester. Dwayne just leaves DiCaprio hanging—because, honestly, why wait?—and Ron Perlman goes in to take care of the guy instead. As Dwayne is walking down the hallway, Wesley Snipes casually mentions he trashed the restroom, but Dwayne just keeps moving—he's on a mission! Once he steps outside, Dave Grohl tells him he accidentally trimmed the neighbor's tulips, and right on cue, Vin Diesel rolls up in a tank. Dwayne hops in the tank, only for Danny DeVito to pop up and tell him he ripped the sink right out of the wall. Dwayne looks back toward the office and sees this chaotic scene where everyone is pummeling DiCaprio—except for Brad Pitt. Dwayne cruises around in the tank hunting for Pitt, finds the combine harvester sitting empty, and then catches sight of Brad Pitt actually giving DiCaprio a thrashing! Brad makes a break for it, sprinting from the office back to his harvester, but—get this—Dwayne tosses a chainsaw right at his head! Then, he just heads back into the office to finish what they started with DiCaprio. That’s basically the whole thing.
Richard Thompson33 said:Now you're really pointing fingers; you should probably explain how they actually reached that conclusion. I mean, I don't know how much you understand about addiction; even if people are willing to go to extremes, they usually have much bigger problems on their minds than picking fights with people. 😉 They don't exactly have the energy for that kind of thing. 😁

But hey, maybe I just know different types of addicts 😁 😁, maybe these guys in San Diego are the real deal. 😁

Honestly, I feel for the guy, it isn't funny to me, but it is a little funny to imagine those "addicts" out there... Then again, what do I know, it's not my world. :slijeg:

Maybe they had a few too many drinks—or perhaps they were just hitting the supplements a little too hard!
Was Braveheart the worst Oscar winner? in Movies ·
Alex Long8 said:I’ve honestly read enough nonsense here to make me lose my mind.
Braveheart is bad? Where do you people live? And Rocky—you guys are seriously delusional. You won't find a better martial arts movie anywhere, and the plot, the music... I just love it. Then there's Forrest Gump. Good grief, who wrote that nonsense? I'd die of embarrassment if I actually agreed that Forrest Gump was bad. The only one that holds up is Titanic; it deserved an Oscar because making a film like that back then was incredible and felt so authentic, though I don't know about an 11/10.

So now you're saying those movies didn't deserve it, but Seven did? My God, what are people watching these days? I can already guess which movies you think deserve Oscars. You probably love stuff like Rambo, Terminator, RoboCop, or Commando, where some tough guy walks in alone with a six-shot revolver and kills fifty people like it's nothing. It’s pathetic that anyone enjoys that kind of trash. Don't tell me Gladiator is a bad movie too.

P.S. I read someone say that The Departed was a terrible movie. If that's what you meant, do us all a favor and quit; whoever wrote that clearly has no clue what they're talking about.

Look, the Terminator is essentially an Android—just straight-up indestructible. Similarly, while RoboCop, Rambo, and Commando might seem a bit simplistic, they aren't nearly as unrealistic as something like Kill Bill or The Matrix. Sure, Rambo is a bit over-the-top, but in Commando, the guy isn't just running in with a pistol; he’s carrying enough firepower to outfit a small army! And Kill Bill—which, let's face it, is as ridiculous as all Tarantino's films—she just charges into a crowd of twenty people with a sword and slaughters them all without getting a single scratch. None of these characters rely on just a handgun; they carry enough gear to start a small war.

So, I heard yesterday that one of my fellow citizens got jumped in New Orleans—stabbed, actually. Just brutal. Honestly, I’m thinking about picking up some pepper spray or maybe a telescopic baton. You can't do anything with a knife without putting someone’s life on the line; even the slightest movement becomes a death sentence.
A baton? Yeah, I mean, no matter how you swing it, you’re mostly just looking at fractures or maybe some broken bones. Still, it feels like "less damage" than a blade.😬

Pepper spray is definitely the safest bet...🙏
You spray them, and once they're on the ground clutching themselves in pain—or even struggling to breathe—you have the upper hand. It lasts about 45 minutes, give or take, which should be plenty of time for them to come back to their senses.😁

I knew a guy in St. Louis who got absolutely pummeled with a club and tossed right into the Mississippi River—man, he was a total wreck.
I know of one absolutely killer weapon—you just widen the gap on the CDE until it’s big enough to fit a finger through, then you hold it steady with both hand and finger, and just slice right through someone's throat—and if you can manage it, give them a good old-fashioned stomp with your dress shoes, not sneakers or flip-flops, if at all possible.
