Honestly, people who only listen to that trashy pop-country stuff... what is it, metal, rock, techno? Doesn't matter, as long as it's that mindless garbage. I love that crap so much it makes me want to tear my opponent apart, rip through gear, and burn the whole gym down just for the hell of it... No, seriously, finally we're having a conversation about music where the crowd isn't obsessing over that cheap radio pop. But just imagine... you're in the gym, drenched in sweat, mid-way through an intense sparring session, and your coach decides to drop some cheesy, upbeat pop track... you'd lose your mind. You'd get so fired up you'd end up leveling the guy you're training with.

Someone brought up the Need for Speed soundtrack and listed a few tracks, but they missed the absolute best one in my book... From Static-x, the song is The only. That track gets me hyped just walking down the street, let alone training to it. And while we're talking about that album... there's a track by Ill Nina called i am loco.

I'm looking to pick up either a compound or a recurve bow... budget is around $667... if anyone's got anything for sale, hit me up in my DMs. Thanks.
I wish I had more specifics for you, but I’m pretty sure they're performing the surgery at the Mayo Clinic.

Olivia Clark22 said:I never made that first claim anywhere (yeah, yeah, millions of people suffer...)—so please don't put words in my mouth! Everyone reacts differently. Just because something doesn't seem to hurt one person doesn't mean it isn't catastrophic for someone else's health.

Well, go ahead and be stubborn. It's your call. You'll just lose patients in the process. It isn't the dark ages anymore where people looked at doctors like they were gods. If I’m seeking help, it doesn't mean I have to leave my brain at home and swallow everything served to me on a silver platter. If I had actually done that a few times in the past, I could have really done myself a massive disservice (all thanks to "certain conscientious doctors").
And my kid isn't going to be screaming in pain in a dentist's chair—because I certainly won't allow them to develop those kinds of dental issues.

I couldn't care less about microdosing; whether it's a little or a lot, I don't want to deal with this nonsense anymore. Why should toxic materials be inside anyone's mouth, even if they're supposedly "non-toxic" doses? It makes zero sense to me.
People used to say DDT was totally non-toxic too... and look how that turned out. It wasn't quite what they claimed, was it?

Good grief, you're talking such absolute nonsense... Look, if you're so brilliant, why don't you just find some fully bio-compatible material with properties almost identical to porcelain that doesn't contain a single trace of weird additives? Besides, is anyone even forcing you to go to the dentist? If everything is so toxic to you, why the hell do you even care? Just stop going to dentists altogether and do everyone—including yourself—a huge favor. Honestly, we are sick of people like you, and we only tolerate your service because we HAVE TO. Apparently, everyone who spent at least five years in medical school is a notorious idiot and a mass murderer, while you and a handful of others (total conspiracy theorists with an attitude of "don't touch me or everyone is out to kill me") are just incredibly smart. You think you can impress the rest of the world with your theories on bonding and fixing things to various objects.
You have no clue about medicine, and it truly amazes me how you can comment on topics you have ABSOLUTELY no understanding of. You probably aren't even aware of the 500 different types of bacteria living in your mouth right now, any of which could kill you if the numbers were high enough, but that doesn't happen because of numerous factors—one being the INFECTIOUS DOSE!!! That's right, go ahead and Google that and see what it actually means!! But of course, why would you care about that? And what about the shirt you're wearing right now (or the one in your closet) that was bought and imported from God knows where, dyed with synthetic colors that contain ingredients that would poison you in large amounts? But you don't care, because you don't care about "microdoses." If you don't care about microdoses, then why aren't you complaining about the elderly or your neighbors who are constantly blasting you with cell phone radiation? You'll probably drop dead when it happens, but hey, you don't care about the dose, as long as there's radiation. Why don't you file a lawsuit against everyone who has ever burned you in a car accident? Since the dose doesn't matter, right? They're all out to get you!
And oh, I just thought of something else... lead... do you have any idea how dangerous that crap is to the body??? Go research it, and then I'll tell you when you took a microdose of lead today, yesterday, or any day before that. Yet, by some miracle, you're still alive and typing this garbage on a forum... Isn't that a miracle?

Olivia Clark22 said:I could bet you're wrong on that one, but whatever. It doesn't matter. At the end of the day, I have every right to refuse letting someone shove raw food down my kid's throat. And honestly? That's just the tip of the iceberg. We could go on forever about dental issues alone, but let's not get sidetracked.
Look, I’m no chemistry major. But unless you can actually prove to me that mercury—or even the aluminum found in those other types of dental fillings—isn't toxic to the human body, I’m sticking to my guns. Prove it. Show me the science. If you can do that, then fine, I'll admit I was wrong. I'll admit I was being stupid. I'll apologize. I won't bring it up again. But until then? I'm not budging.

Because of all the controversy surrounding dental amalgam, patients are constantly walking into my office with doubts and endless questions. It’s a sensitive topic, honestly. One of the most frequent concerns I hear involves pregnant women asking if the mercury in those fillings can actually pass on to their unborn baby.

Over the last decade, there have been countless studies conducted, yet NOT ONE single one has proven that dental amalgams cause any adverse effects on the human body—aside from those rare allergic reactions or hypersensitivities that anyone could develop to basically any foreign substance put into their system. Scientists tend to be cautious with their wording, though; they won't jump to conclusions, they just state the fact that no harmful effects have been proven regarding this silver and mercury dental alloy. Think about it. Research has been ongoing for over 20 years, yet these amalgams have been used in human mouths for more than 150 years, affecting millions of people. People tried to link them to Alzheimer's, but if that connection actually existed, wouldn't dentists and their assistants have been the first ones hit by "mercury vapors"? It’s just not the case.

In Canada, they suggest pregnant women steer clear of amalgam fillings until we get some more thorough research done. For now, studies indicate that mercury can pass from the mother to the baby, but the links are weak—nothing has actually shown any adverse effects that look like mercury poisoning. Is it worth the risk? Who knows.

Anti-amalgam activists love to claim that mercury is pure poison, but let’s be real—any pharmacist will tell you that dosage is everything. Mercury is only released in micro-doses. At the end of the day, patients are left with a choice: stick with amalgam, which is easily the second-best material we've ever found after gold (plus, it doesn't break the bank), or opt for composite fillings, which are way more expensive and definitely not budget-friendly.

Are you seriously trying to tell me that millions of people are suffering from mercury poisoning? Give me a break. Honestly, stop talking nonsense. Most patients have one major issue: they have zero clue how various factors actually impact dental materials because they only care about how their smile looks. I’ll bet my life that not even 10% of patients prioritize function over aesthetics, when in reality, functionality should always come before looks. Sure, we have modern materials that try to do both now, but since most of them are relatively new to the market, we’re still waiting to see if they actually hold up better than old-school amalgam, which proved to be absolutely fantastic when it comes to pure durability. If you can point to a single person who has been proven to suffer from mercury poisoning specifically because of a dental filling, then I’ll personally hang up my scrubs and leave dentistry for good. Look, obviously mercury is toxic to the body... but we are talking about DOSES here! A kid is going to gulp down liters of Coca-Cola, probably smoke, drink coffee—and you’re really going to harass this forum over amalgam? Grow up. Because if your next move is to claim that "my child would never touch that crap or smoke," then maybe you shouldn't have kids, because they definitely deserve better than your glass bell mentality. I’m dying to see how you plan to walk into a dentist's office and lecture them on how to do their job and what to put in your child's mouth while that child is screaming in pain in the chair, just wanting their tooth fixed. If you tried that, I’d kick you out of my clinic myself.
What kind of moronic links are these? Holistic medicine?? So, according to this, health problems are caused by "blocked energy" on a mental, emotional, or physical level... Are you kidding me? What am I supposed to believe, that I have a cavity because my energy flow is off?
Amalgam org... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! It says 1926 right there!!! Seriously! Has your understanding of biomedicine and dentistry just stayed frozen in time since then?
If you’re going to insist on throwing the first random links you stumble upon online at me, at least try to find something actually worth reading—something published by top-tier medical journals instead of some anti-globalist blog or whatever nonsense else. At this rate, you'll probably end up sending me a link to Greenpeace next!

Olivia Clark22 said:All I know is that once I have kids, there is zero chance I'm letting them get vaccinated. Or letting anyone shove amalgam into their teeth or push fluoride treatments on them. They won't be chewing Orbit (ASPARTAME) or sprinkling Vegeta in their soup (Monosodium glutamate).

And just how many actual scientific papers or articles have you read on this? I mean real ones—not stuff written by lobbyists for some massive corporation, but by experts who base their work on decades of clinical experience (especially regarding amalgam). Because honestly, based on what you wrote, you sound like a college freshman who spent two months in a chemistry lab and now thinks they’re an expert on how these substances affect the body.

Exactly... vaccines are just some secret alien project designed to take over the entire country... and get this... viruses are actually tiny little alien fragments shipped through transwarp channels from a parallel dimension. No job... especially medicine—you can't learn how to actually do the work honestly without thousands upon thousands of hours of hands-on practice. You can be the biggest straight-A student in the world, but you'll just end up remembered as some theorist who hasn't a clue how things work in the real world. And don't even get me started on how clueless people are about the actual job once they walk out of graduation. So, frankly, I couldn't care less what grades I pull on most exams; all I care about is getting in there, doing the work, and just doing it. All that theoretical stuff? You pick it up on the job eventually. Honestly, I take my hat off to the people who don't obsess over getting A's. Those types are either absolute geniuses or incredibly driven. Both are great traits, and since I'm clearly not one of those people, I have nothing to complain about because they're better than me. I'm only posting this to shift the focus back to the fact that it isn't all about the GPA, despite what a lot of "overachievers" seem to think. You tell me...

If you’re talking about consuming alcohol directly, the dosage depends entirely on how strong the stuff is. But if we’re looking at medicinal alcohols made from grain, we’re talking liters here. Honestly? Believe me, nobody is even going to attempt to get close to that, let alone try to take a sip.

Just because someone runs their own private practice doesn't mean they actually know what they're doing. I learned that the hard way—literally, on my own teeth. Honestly, you’d probably be safer in the hands of a med student who has a professor hovering over them every single second, making sure they don't absolutely wreck someone's mouth. Would you rather trust a guy who’s been in private practice for ten years but has spent all ten of those years doing things wrong? A buddy of mine came to the clinic where I was working, and I handled eight of his cavities. It’s been a year and a half now, and he hasn't had a single issue. And no, it wasn't thanks to me—it was because the professor was standing right over our shoulders, catching our stupid mistakes and stopping us from screwing everything up. My friend is thrilled with the results, and it's actually his referrals that brought me new clients. So, just think about it...
