So, I’m getting ready for a major body detox—a seven-day fast. Just water, juices, and some herbal supplements to flush out toxins from my gut and cleanse my kidneys. Has anyone here actually tried this before? What was your experience like? Thanks!
Oh, wow....FANTASTIC...just tell me one thing, what on earth is "toxins" supposed to mean in this context? I mean, seeing as you're clearly a master of nutrition, I'm dying to learn all these fancy new terms... Because as far as I knew, we were all gearing up to watch Gordan Kozulj swim... I had no idea he was suddenly coaching your intestinal tract...

I don't think earning a black belt actually opens any new doors... maybe in certain sports or specific disciplines you finally get the green light to attend advanced seminars where they teach stuff that was previously off-limits to you (not sure if that applies to mainstream athletics, but in martial arts, it does). But here’s the thing: if someone grinds for a black belt and then wakes up the next morning thinking they’re suddenly some kind of grandmaster... they aren't a master anymore. They lost it right then. Besides, didn't Westerners basically invent the whole concept of ranking belts anyway? It feels like a very American obsession—this white cultural tendency to try and single out the "best" and hand out diplomas and various little certificates to prove it. So, if you ask me... any discussion about true mastery is just rooted in Western perspectives, where you supposedly become a "master" the moment you get that black belt. But if we’re talking about actual Eastern philosophy... you’ll NEVER be a master. Not now, not ever. Mastery is an ideal, an unreachable goal. You'll always be aware of the massive pile of things you still haven't mastered, and if you're truly skilled—mentally speaking—you'll realize you'll never measure up to that perfect image of a master you hold in your head. If we're strictly talking about technical skill, sure, masters exist... but once you factor in all the spiritual, philosophical, and behavioral aspects of a discipline... most of those self-proclaimed masters fall apart instantly.
but my sensei is the master of all masters ...and like I said before... he's going to end up being the leader of the Genbu Jinkana club....
Just one thing... I’m not sure if anyone else has brought this up yet... over 90 percent of women will deal with a virus at some point in their lives. So, you tell me...

You are the textbook definition of a spoiled brat who has absolutely no clue what he's doing. How can you even say something that stupid without feeling ashamed? Patients don't come to see you because they're healthy... they come because they're sick and they need help. Rest assured, you're probably the last person on earth most people would actually want to see, but they show up because they don't have any other choice... and you treat them like nothing more than a checklist. I might have understood if you had thirty years under your belt... but you're young and already this rude and dismissive? Unbelievable. Man, you picked the wrong career. I usually encounter cold people like you in management or business, not in medicine. Maybe take a moment to rethink why you're even doing this job and what a medical degree actually stands for. And yeah... I'm in the medical field too, and I just got my own test results today that I don't understand at all... even the specialist wouldn't read them to me; they just told me to wait for the Chief of Medicine, and I won't even see him for another month. So go ahead, keep lecturing me! It's not like I want anyone to be sick, myself included... but God, I hope you find yourself in line one day, waiting for your own results, feeling completely confused and terrified, only to be told to come back in a month while you sit there staring at a piece of paper you can't make sense of. !
Drug addicts... honestly, the sun would be better off just picking you all up and tossing you out so we could actually build a light rail system in Chicago, or maybe Austin, or even Phoenix...

i so this whey stuff... it’s all well and good, but how many people are actually grinding in the gym for four hours a day? I spent two years hitting the weights and realized there's a clear average among the regulars who show up EVERY single day... usually around an hour and a half. Look, if someone actually wants to level up and achieve something significant... you aren't going to get far without supplements.
I can’t believe I’m actually agreeing with Jamie Rivera78 on this one... but I guess the day has finally come. Look, man... if you’re hitting the gym (which I assume is why you’re asking), try to realize that you aren't—and won't be—a professional athlete. Those guys on the covers of Men's Health? They’re dehydrated, starving themselves, and then they get heavily airbrushed in Photoshop. Sure, there are exceptions... but let's be real, that's most of them. And if you're really that obsessed with protein intake... just stick to grilling chicken, eating low-fat cheeses, tuna... who knows what else they cut out of their diet just to look like that...

Exactly... and lately, Prof. Bekavac-Bešlin seems to be a guest on every single TV show talking about this stuff. The guy works over at the Vinogradski clinic.

I'm still holding out for a movie where ninjas are just regular people who happen to have some extraordinary skills or knowledge—you know, stuff that sets them apart from the average grunt. Something along the lines of The Last Samurai, but with a ninja twist.😁
Man, where do I start? I'm signing off on that one with zero hesitation... 🙏
Many Wonder What The " Quentin Tarantino Presents" headline stapled to Hostel denotes. First of All , IT Doesn't mean hostel is Tarantino's creation. As Roth explains, Tarantino is a huge supporter of rising filmmakers. He hosts these occasional "movie nights" where a bunch of up-and-coming directors head over to Tarantino's place to watch some classics. It's basically his way of firing them up and getting them hyped for their own upcoming projects. After seeing Roth's First feature, Cabin Fever, Tarantino invited Roth to one of those get-togethers and offered to lend a hand with Hostel.
IMO you're right... but IMO the guy had a hand in it too... I honestly don't get how he let them slap his name on that piece of junk... but hey, that's just my two cents.
Peter Myers29 said:With movies like this, it’s always about trying to figure out what the director was actually aiming for...
Exactly! And honestly, sometimes even Tarantino doesn't know himself... 🙂
Not really the point here... but whenever I think about Hostel, I can't shake the feeling that my little nephew could've made a better flick. For me, Kill Bill feels like that turning point between that total trash and his old good stuff like Reservoir Dogs...
Has anyone seen Shinobi? Was that filmed back in 2005? If so, what's the consensus?
