Issues with my large intestine in Health ·
Maria Chase55 said:Have you tried those pro-life supplements??

No way, I’ve never even heard of that stuff...🤷

What are they even talking about?
Issues with my large intestine in Health ·
Hey everyone!
I’m honestly reaching my breaking point here, so if anyone has any actual advice, please help me out because I’m starting to feel desperate..🙏

Ever since I was a little kid, my digestion has been a total disaster, and I slowly started relying on laxatives to get through it.. Now? It’s gotten to the point where I literally can’t function without them. (My mom keeps insisting it’s all just "in my head," but how the hell is it psychological when I go five or six days without being able to use the bathroom unless I take something?) Nothing even works anymore except for this specific herbal tea from CVS that I’ve basically been chugging every three days for almost three years now..
I am seriously over it. I’ve actually started feeling nauseous and throwing up from drinking it, and I’m just done. I just want to be able to go to the bathroom like a normal person!!☕

Does anyone have any tips on how to break this cycle and stop being so dependent on these things??😕

(I've tried everything—fruit cubes, yogurt, drops, smoothies, you name it... nothing helps at all😢)
Struggling with infertility in Health ·
Look, I know I’m technically veering off-topic here, but I didn't want to go through the hassle of starting an entirely new thread... I've still got some stuff on my mind regarding the whole infertility struggle.

I don't even know why, but I’ve got this constant, nagging fear deep down that I might be infertile... like, what if I can't actually have kids? Honestly, I'm totally spiraling over here—it's basically just the influence of those trashy daytime soaps getting in my head! 🙄So, I've been sitting here wondering—is there actually a way to double-check that with some kind of official exam or a deep dive inspection? Like, can you actually get a definitive answer through a formal checkup?
(unless I try it out with my man, obviously)😁)
She held her weight!👍
Man, she ate way too much... it was definitely too late in the day... BUT she was super active too... got a little cranky here and there, you know how it is!🙄

Look, there’s a massive thread above all about the UN diet—get in on it! The crew over there is awesome, and you can find all the books on the very first page of that topic if you want to download them...
You're gonna see results, I promise! Good luck!👍

They aren't even that pricey... mine are $100.😉

Advil PM capsules in Health ·
I’m totally with you on this, Branch 😬—honestly, I don't even know what we're talking about here, but we are clearly soulmates
!
Do yourself a favor and look into Pearson... because Advil isn't some magic pill that works instantly... you basically have to take it constantly to see anything
. Personally, I usually need something that hits fast to chill me out whenever those depressive waves and crying fits start attacking 👎

I am seriously obsessed with these trap pants I stumbled upon at New Yorker the other day. Oh my god, they’re just so dark and have that perfect straight-leg cut... It was my first time picking up anything from Fishbone and honestly, they totally blew me away! 🙂

Betty Adams12, I see we’re dealing with the exact same nightmares... I am seriously losing sleep over this because I’m constantly freaking out about how I’m gonna look at my own wedding!!😁

My skin is either flawless or a total disaster zone.. and honestly, it’s always a disaster right when I have something big coming up.. like a fancy dinner.. a friend's birthday party, or my actual wedding.. It always flares up exactly when I actually want to look good.:rolleyes

I'm getting married in May 2009, so I absolutely have to get my face under control and glowing by then.🙏

Mark Stewart4 said:Laura Ramirez10, YOU ROCK!!! :klap: At first, I was skeptical about just three tablespoons of cornflakes, but then I realized that combining them with about half a cup of 0.1% milk makes me feel totally full—only I swapped the cornflakes out for oatmeal instead.
stormylynx4, thanks for clearing that up and posting the photo; now I actually know what to grab at the store. 😘 It’s honestly kind of crazy how clueless I can be sometimes, my God, my God...
I am feeling pretty great about how yesterday went. Breakfast was what I mentioned above, then a single peach about two hours later, and for lunch, I had the rest of that amazing kale recipe from stormylynx4 (and here I thought I hated kale 🙂). Later on, I went shopping with my mom, which ended up taking until late at night. I kept a water bottle with me and sipped on it constantly, and honestly, I didn't even feel hungry later, so I skipped eating entirely. I'm not sure if that's a good thing, but since I wasn't craving anything... Before hitting the hay, I went for a thirty-minute walk and knocked out 200 crunches 👍
I've also started keeping a food diary. I really liked how this book mentions a 1200 calorie diet paired with physical activity, obviously 🙂 They break down food using a pyramid, emphasizing fruits and veggies first, followed by carbs, proteins, fats, and of course, sweets, all with balanced ratios. Here is what you're allowed per day:
4 or more servings of vegetables
3 or more servings of fruit
4 servings of carbohydrates
3 servings of protein / dairy
3 servings of fats
So, let me know what you guys think, and if you want to know the specific measurements for one serving, I'll post them for you.
Hey everyone, cheers 😘

That's awesome, way to go!!👋 👋
This is lightyears better than those beginner menus you were using before!!😉
You just gotta dive in headfirst!
See? You can see it's plenty of food; it's all just mental game.. Yogurt with 3 tablespoons of cereal is a killer meal—healthy and great for losing weight too!🧐

Good luck.. Just take it slow, no need to rush things.. 😘
Melissa Perez10 said:Laura Ramirez10, give me some dinner inspiration!
If I eat lunch at 3:30 PM, when should my dinner be?

Hey! If you're eating lunch that late, just grab a snack around 6:00 PM—maybe some fruit—and then hit dinner around 8:00 PM..
Keep dinner light, like yogurt—you can go for one of those bigger light ones (like an Activia, 12oz) or just a big glass of warm milk with a spoonful of honey.. Or maybe some low-fat cottage cheese with a green salad or some tomatoes..

The meal plan my doctor set up for me doesn't even hit 1200 calories total, so seriously, don't stress about eating all your meals!!
Those first few days are the absolute worst, but after that, it’s smooth sailing.. You won't feel heavy in your stomach, and there's no freaking meltdown because you get to have a snack whenever, like grabbing whatever fruit you're actually craving.. So you're basically snacking and eating real food, just taking it slow and steady..👍

Good luck!!😘
stormylynx4, I am 100% on your side here... I’ve been lurking in this thread and I’ve noticed the exact same thing you did.

Pasta + tuna + fresh cream cheese + eggs = an absolute massive calorie bomb!! 😲
Normally, you should stay far away from a combo like that, especially if you're actually trying to watch what you eat.😳

Look, let me give you some friendly advice—this is basically the diet my doctor put me on two years ago because I was dealing with insane heartburn from eating nothing but junk food..

Start your day with some carbs.. grab about 7 ounces of milk or yogurt with some carbs mixed in:
• cornmeal mush
• black bread or toast
• unsalted crackers (tea biscuits, saltines, whatever)
• 3 tablespoons of cornflakes

For snacks, go with fruit or yogurt (like that 330g light yogurt with almost zero calories)..

Lunch should be meat + tons of veggies and a huge salad
..or starch + tons of veggies and a big salad
for example:

Steamed veggies with just one teaspoon of oil paired with:
• Meat (boiled or grilled)
• Low-fat cheese
• Fish
• 2 eggs

Snacks can also be fruit (fresh or frozen, but definitely NOT dried!!) or yogurt

Then for dinner, stick to proteins with a salad

Drink as much water as possible, stay away from juice, and don't even think about alcohol.. Walk, ride your bike, and good luck!

You'll definitely see the results!!😘

I was on Diane for six months and honestly, my skin didn't change one bit... it was like I wasn't even taking them.😕
And don't even get me started on the side effects, they were absolutely BRUTAL. I gained at least 15 pounds, plus all the mood swings and depression... yeah, those things did a number on me.👎

A friend of mine had really bad breakouts too, so she tried them, and after just four months her skin looked as smooth as a baby's bottom. She’s actually been on them for four years now because she's terrified if she stops, her skin will just revert back to being a total disaster.

I’m dealing with skin issues myself, especially since my skin is insanely sensitive and nothing seems to work for me. My bathroom cabinet is basically a graveyard of stuff from CVS and half of Walgreens.😁

Anyway, I finally booked an appointment with Dr. Mateša after seeing someone on here recommend her, so fingers crossed she can actually fix my face.😳
I am determined to be a bride with perfectly clear skin!!🙂
Hey there!
Seriously, bravo... you finally got your head on straight, and there is absolutely no way anyone is talking you out of this decision!!
I'm so glad.. just don't let hunger get the best of you.. or better yet, don't put yourself in a spot where you're actually starving.😈

Maybe you should look into UN? There’s a whole group of girls on the forum who help each other through those rough patches, and with UN, you're actually losing weight while totally resetting your relationship with food.. plus, those healthy habits actually stick.😘
