Women are one way, men are another... I guess. A decent gynecologist is a decent gynecologist... I guess there's really no reason to be afraid of seeing women. 🙏 🙏 It’s pretty obvious which way I lean, I guess. 🤣 )

I wouldn't recommend Dr. Martinson at all! (I think it was her mother, not her daughter.)
She gave me a completely wrong diagnosis (a tumor) and caused me one of the worst traumas of my life. I was 18 at the time (eight years ago) and I remember her acting like she was Satan himself 🤮 Some people later suggested I sue her, but I just didn't have the energy for it... Every doctor I saw afterward for second, third, or fifth opinions (ranging from private clinics to the big municipal hospitals) basically tore her apart; they couldn't believe how unprofessional she was and how she handed out such a serious diagnosis without doing any necessary testing!
Not to mention she was so clueless and rude that she'd tell a stone-cold 18-year-old—with zero basis—that she might bleed out in the street if she didn't go into surgery immediately 🤮
She scared me so much I was crying all the way home 👎 when, in reality, nothing was wrong, I didn't need surgery, and I certainly wasn't going to die 🙄

And yeah, she took my $217 and just tucked them away in a drawer, quite elegantly, without any regard for them 👎

A little while later, I found Dr. Grujić Koračin over in the Star district, and I won't go to anyone else because I'm completely satisfied with her 🙂 :knock on wood:

She actually had plenty of time to process things while she was there... I'm not sure why you're fixating on that specific point, but she just decided she was going to get out eventually. Maybe it was a spontaneous decision that day, or maybe she’d been quietly planning her move for months... who knows...

In the beginning, she definitely didn't have a shot at escaping; she was probably just paralyzed by shock and fear. Eventually, she "adjusted," bonded with him, and then there's all that psychological stuff the experts have already pointed out...

Supposedly she read books, and apparently, he was actually interested in getting an education too...

She mentioned being allowed to listen to the radio and read the newspaper. Honestly, if you're someone like her—starving for any kind of connection to the world—you'd probably throw yourself into that kind of stuff headfirst. 😉

For her, learning wasn't some chore like it is for most kids who have a million better things to do; it was probably the exact opposite. 😉

Or maybe they don't see it that way, and she’s only "abnormal compared to expected abnormality" to us laypeople? We've been conditioned by movies and pop culture to expect someone in that kind of trauma to be completely broken and unable to even speak clearly...

It seems to me that no psychologist I've heard of—whether here in the States or abroad—has actually pointed out this supposed "abnormality relative to expectation." It feels like that's just an observation made by regular people.😁

And let's be honest, she was heavily coached for that interview; she probably went over those exact questions with psychiatrists a million times already... so that's why she seemed so 'composed.'

Besides, whatever she went through left deep, internal scars. They aren't obvious on the surface because, I guess, she isn't even fully aware of them herself. She’s actually defending him! Good grief! She keeps insisting it wasn't even that bad. That’s probably why she isn't screaming or pulling her hair out in front of the cameras. (Which is what she would have done much sooner if you were all right and she was just acting like 😉).

It’s honestly kind of ridiculous to be calling her behavior inconsistent, weird, or "suspicious"... I mean, the girl has total chaos going on in her head, so what else would you expect?

First, she spends eight years in complete isolation, and then suddenly she’s thrust out of that and right into the center of the global spotlight... Like, hello, people...

Is she manipulating us? I don't think so. She isn't even out here acting like she was some incredibly pathetic victim; in fact, she's actually defending this guy... She isn't trying to play the victim card more than she already was. If anything, it's quite the opposite...
