My grandma went through a stroke... she doesn't remember anything from that day at all, but for about six months afterward, she was constantly mixing up people's names, certain events, addresses, and stuff like that... thankfully, she's pretty much back to herself now.
As a little hack, try rubbing half a tomato on your thumb—it really helps soothe the inflammation
My sister tried this when she had a milder case, and she said it actually worked for her (She’d just hold it there for maybe half an hour every day) And yeah, + Bivacin
Honestly, this philosophy competition is just nonsense.
I get why they have competitions for math, physics, chemistry, logic, or tech.
But history, geography, biology? Come on. I don't even see the point of a competition in social studies.
As for the other stuff, like those science fairs, those are basically just exhibitions of work.
Maybe instead of a contest, they could host a philosophy essay showcase.
They could give diplomas to the top five, honorable mentions to the next ten, and everyone else gets a "thanks for showing up" certificate—but without any extra credit points.
If it’s swollen, it really could be a varicocele (though about 90% of the time, it shows up on the left side)
The surgery itself only takes about 10 minutes... but fair warning, you'll probably have some abdominal soreness for a few days whenever you laugh, cough, or strain too hard :-)
Just go see your primary care doctor; they'll get you set up with a referral for the next steps.
So, my boyfriend and I are both 19, and we’re both virgins. We finally decided to try having sex for the first time—we both really wanted this to happen—but oh my god, it was such a disaster!
We were totally sober, hanging out somewhere private where we felt safe and wouldn't be interrupted. There was zero pressure, and we had protection covered (I'm on birth control because of some ovarian issues I have), and we've known each other forever...
The main thing is, I was super dry, but even then, it felt like he was trying to shove a two-liter soda bottle inside me 🙄 (and honestly, he isn't even *that* big 🙄)... it hurt so incredibly bad. I don't think he even got more than an inch in... it was just awful. I actually felt like crying 😳 ....
He tried using a finger... that kind of works... but things are so, so tight. He could barely get two fingers in about an inch ...
Look, I get that sex can be painful and all that jazz... but seriously, how many attempts does it take? How much struggle and effort is normal? After about ten tries, we were just completely exhausted, and eventually, we just started laughing at how ridiculous it all was. Should I maybe take a couple of Advil, use a ton of lube, and just go for it? 🤣
Thanks in advance for any good advice (hopeful for some!)
p.s. We've put things on hold for now. No forcing it...
