Well, my parents are both doctors—not OB-GYNs, mind you—so I just talked to them. Since they already understood everything I’d been through and the stress I was under, they weren't really shocked... so I didn't feel the need to reach out to anyone else...
Just wanted to check in—my cycle is finally starting to regulate itself again. I went three months without anything, and now it’s down to just under two. I mentioned my issues earlier in the thread... I actually haven't made it to the OBGYN yet because life has been such a constant grind lately. I kept telling myself I'd go tomorrow, then the day after, and so on, until my period just showed up again. Hopefully, this means things are slowly getting back on track...

So, I’m dealing with some issues with my cycle again. It’s late—again. It always seems to be. Last summer, I actually went three whole months without one. I had my baby back in January, and since then, I've lost a ton of weight... I just feel exhausted all the time, like I just want to curl up somewhere and sleep. My diet is okay, mostly, but whenever hunger hits, I immediately reach for carbs for that quick energy boost, even though they don't really sustain me. Then I try to follow up with enough protein and healthy fats, but it doesn't seem to help much. Now, I'm expecting it soon, but it’s nowhere to be found. I know I'm not pregnant—that's a given since it's just me—but even though I try to eat enough, it feels like I'm burning through energy faster than I can take it in. Honestly, I don't even have much of an appetite lately. I'm just counting down the days until my little one starts preschool so I can get back to running... physical activity usually helps jumpstart my appetite. I don't know. Does anyone have any advice? I realize it’s probably a mix of stress and inconsistent eating habits, but I just can't seem to get my nutrition on track. Madonna and Child paintings have always been massive hits—even back during the Austro-Canadian era. Back then, our art students who mostly studied in Munich would make a decent living by painting replicas of those museum pieces to sell. My grandmother actually owns one such painting... when she bought it back in the 50s, she spent her entire paycheck on it—so they aren't exactly worthless, I suppose.
What I wrote there is just based on a hunch—since I haven't actually seen the painting myself, I couldn't say for sure if it would mean anything to me, but I wanted to suggest this as one possibility. You might want to look up images from those old museums online and see how they compare to yours...

Doing a little digging into the painting's origins might actually help you out. Someone once mentioned that the provenance doesn't matter, but usually, tracing where it came from is the best way to clear up any questions about who actually painted it.

How much have I actually grasped here... it seems like Pride is mostly backed by liberal heterosexuals—people who are all about those social experiments and pushing the envelope on things like sexual freedom and such. As for the gay community itself, from what I've heard from quite a few of them, they aren't really into the whole idea of marching through the streets just to convince passersby that being gay is okay... they don't exactly jump at the chance to support it. I suppose it's because they are, first and foremost, people with jobs and lives to lead—individuals trying to make something of themselves... they aren't defined solely by their attraction to the same sex.

I honestly don't know why you felt the need to pick at that scab. They’re supposed to fall off on their own—once they do, you're usually left with healthy skin underneath. A scab is actually a good sign; it means the wound is finally drying out... so, do you have another one forming?
Look, if your hand isn't swollen—like, twice the size of the other one—you probably didn't break anything. It might just be some muscle inflammation... or if there's a scab involved, things could be getting a little infected. Personally, I’d just stick with some Neosporin; I’m the type who avoids the doctor at all costs. Usually, there are just two guys who claim to be gay. I honestly can't tell if they're just going through a phase while trying to figure out their identity—or if they actually carry that specific genetic makeup... which makes me wonder if they’re even suitable for this study. One has this jet-black hair, really thick and straight, while the other's is a bit lighter and more wavy. Not quite as coarse as the first one's.
