Does anyone know if I need a constant internet connection to get anything done in Excel or Word? Like, if my Wi-Fi cuts out for a few hours, am I just stuck and unable to use the software? 🤷

EDIT: It looks like with Microsoft 365 Business Premium I don't actually need to be online since it includes the desktop apps, right? 🤷

Swapped out the USB cable, still nothing—so it’s definitely not the cable. 🙂I get that a certain percentage might fail, but you'd expect that from some cheap off-brand drive, not a WD.🤷

Now I've got a useless extra drive sitting here, and I'm still short one that actually functions. 😵 😵

Nope, it runs straight off the USB. I honestly thought I’d need a drive with a dedicated power brick, but since this one worked fine before, I'm stumped. Is it really possible that two different 1TB external drives—both manufactured in Taiwan😂—have such a massive gap in power draw that one spins up and the other doesn't? I'll try swapping out the cable to rule that out, but if that doesn't do the trick, then 🙂🙂

Alright, I need some help here.

I’ve got a Sony Blu-ray BDPS1100B and I'm trying to hook up my Western Digital My 1TB external drive to the player. Since the player isn't picking it up (it keeps throwing that "Valid USB undetected" error message), I figured NTFS was the problem. So, after a lot of swearing, I formatted it to FAT32, but I'm still getting the exact same error...
A 16GB thumb drive works fine on the player. I also tried a Silicon Power 1TB external HDD Diamonds (FAT32) and that works perfectly too.

Anyone have any ideas on what else I can try so I can finally use this Western Digital drive as an external disk for the player? 🙂
