If The Cranberries had actually stayed on the lineup, I’d be there in a heartbeat—no question about it. But as it stands? Paying all those $100 just for one single band feels like a massive overreach to me.

It’s honestly a struggle for Bend to put out anything less than a masterpiece.

Choosing just one standout track is nearly impossible—but if I had to pick, I'll be over you is easily one of the greatest ballads ever written, right up there with stop Loving you.

I could honestly listen to them on loop for days on end.😁

Tearing into Balic just because of one bad game? Seriously? We're spitting on a guy who has brought us more medals than anyone else. And now we’re nitpicking his "nonchalant" attitude on the court? Give me a break—that’s exactly how he played when he was walking away with MVP honors back in the day.

In the first game, the man steps on the floor and basically carries the team against the Icelanders all by himself. In the second, he plays enough to get the job done. I didn't catch the third one, so I won't pretend to know...

The guy has played an hour and a half across four games: he's sitting at 5/7 in goals and tied for the lead as the tournament assist leader (sharing the spot with a few others, sure, but still)...

It's pathetic.

Guitarist Jeff Loomis and drummer Van Williams have announced their departure from Seattle-based progressive thrashers Nevermore. The news dropped via an official update on the band's MySpace page.

Apparently—and this is always the messy part—it boils down to internal friction and some serious creative clashes with the rest of the guys...

Not even close. Psychotic Waltz was practically criminal—as in, legitimately intense. I had a buddy who nearly threw himself off a balcony just out of pure frustration and boredom. Honestly, Mercenary left me feeling pretty let down, and at the start, I could barely even stomach listening to them.
Nevermore absolutely crushed it, and it’s such a damn shame they have to stick to a setlist because this whole thing feels way too short. Same goes for Symphony X—I mean, Romeo is a genuine guitar maestro, isn't he? 🙏🙏🙏
Good atmosphere, though—lots of our crowd popping up; you can spot them easily since they're always pulling out cigarettes despite it being strictly non-smoking... but hey, that's how it goes.

If they aren't the headliners, my legs are going to be absolutely shot from standing through those opening acts. I can still feel the phantom pain in my feet when I think back to that Korpiklaaan show at Boogaloo—I barely made it through the night because the openers were so incredibly dull.

I’ve got transportation sorted for the trip to Vienna, $17so honestly, it’s worth it—otherwise, I wouldn't even bother because of the cost. As for DT, I have zero intention of seeing them again unless they play a new venue over in Zameti.😁

I’d love to catch them again—along with a few other bands on that lineup—but honestly, it’s just too much cash to drop, not to mention spending an entire week out there sweating or freezing depending on the hour. That said, if Evergrey and Opeth decide to show up, I am there, no questions asked. 🤣
