I know exactly what an Advair Diskus is... but honestly, it hasn't been much help. If things don't change, this cough is going to be the death of me.

Winter is going to be brutal for me—that's always the worst part. Any shift from warm to cold triggers an attack immediately, no exceptions.😢
I’ve been dealing with chronic asthma for a while now—using Ventolin and two Serevent inhalers, plus I tried Singulair once. It actually helped, but the side effects were brutal; I dealt with constant headaches and diarrhea, and so on. Basically, it was a total wash.
I’ve also started coughing like crazy lately, so reading your posts feels like looking in a mirror.
I haven't heard of this Tafen stuff, but what I'm currently using isn't doing much of anything. The only thing that actually works—and only when I start feeling like I'm suffocating—is Ventolin.
Of course, it’s all just a myth—and frankly, for those of you intentionally spreading these tall tales just to corner some doctor, everything should be shut down. Every last bit of it. :P We really are a hopeless bunch... we aren't going anywhere, let alone joining the EU. It's all cursed!

p.s.—nice one, Benjamin Murphy2
My mother doesn't take handouts—let’s be clear about that. If she happens to receive a gift here or there, I don't see any harm in it. It’s exactly what 🙂 Benjamin Murphy2 is getting at—someone makes something, someone buys something... for example, a man whose life she actually saved bought her some high-end medical clogs. He just wanted to make sure she could keep doing her job effectively while staying comfortable
And trust me, I am incredibly proud of her. By the way, I wasn't making excuses—you all called her a fool, but honestly, there are plenty of people like you out there, and a very colorful, judgmental crowd awaits you in the future (as I already mentioned)
Well, that settles it... he’s just one of those people enrolling in med school specifically to fleece the poor, as someone once put it. There are plenty more like him out there—just wait a few years, and you’ll have a massive selection to choose from. 😉
Look, I’m not looking for an argument here... but it seems like nobody ever bothers to mention when a doctor actually does something right—not that it's any different for other professions, really. Take Smith, for instance. Just how many lives has that man actually saved?

Of course, nobody stops to consider that. It's much easier to just tear someone down...
My mom is basically getting paid in kind! 😬
Eggs, sausage, baby chicks—plus bits of lamb here and there, flowers, coffee, boxes of chocolates, even an entire stalk of orchids (you know, those pricey ones...) 😁
Some lady mentioned to me that this doesn't actually count as "bribery"... is she right, or what? $167
I mean, I honestly wouldn't have believed it—you finally realized that in America, absolutely anything can happen!
*the end*

Look, you’re being incredibly rude—just plain ignorant. I didn't even see my own mother during the war, and things certainly haven't improved since then. Honestly, I'm studying medicine just so I can one day help someone as dense as you. You're so arrogant that you probably think you're the center of the universe; I truly cannot wrap my head around people like you, nor can you understand me, nimblestag31, or Genghis Khan.
Here is a little more class for you (Kimberly Nguyen, hats off to you—you were actually reasonable and didn't resort to insults...) All of you can just head back to the sticks. As for me, I'm done posting in this thread—some people here clearly lack any sense of conviction, even if I don't.

By the way, is your mom the one suggesting all this stuff about war and hospitals? 🙂

Oh, absolutely—honestly, she’s basically been writing the whole thing.
Well, she certainly didn't hold back on the sarcasm in that other thread... credit where credit is due.
I truly am sorry—really—but are you specifically suggesting I'll turn out to be a bad doctor? Someone else even went as far as saying Genghis Khan is rude, or whatever else
You can't possibly know that, and please, let's not jump to any wild conclusions just because you read one post of mine, or Genghis Khan's, or anyone else's
I must have acquired him in a past life. 🙄
My mother was the only anesthesiologist in the entire county for years—it was quite the responsibility. 31 miles Where I live, she was in the hospital for barely twenty-four hours—literally just long enough to get home and see her kids before they called her right back in.
How can we really know? We all have that soft spot when it comes to kids—it’s just human nature.
I feel for everyone caught up in the conflict—it’s a tragedy when people are forced to fight side by side—but my heart really goes out to those who didn't make it back. I can't even pinpoint exactly what they were dying for, given that the government is basically a complete disaster right now...
Don't go thinking you're the only one feeling disillusioned—if only more people actually spoke up about this sort of thing..
Yeah... I wouldn't believe it if I were you.

Honestly, let’s just go ahead and shower everyone who served in the war with praise, shall we? Look, my father was in the service—he nearly lost his life more times than I can count, and he lived through all the absolute hell that comes with combat. You don't need to lecture me on the realities of it. Someone you knew passed away and they couldn't save them? And now you're this bitter toward doctors... honestly, you really are.
Actually, maybe a little too much so.
Spend seven days stuck in a hospital during a war, then come talk to me about hardship—just those seven days, mind you. You don't need to recount months or years...
Kimberly Nguyen, I hear you, but there’s also this unspoken rule that if you’re a doctor, you have to be perfectly poised and sophisticated—heaven forbid you ever lose your cool or swear... It’s ridiculous. We’re human beings just like everyone else; we get frustrated and we aren't always polite
And here's the kicker: when I wrote something like that recently—well, those were the words of a future physician, apparently. Am I not allowed to feel frustrated? Am I not permitted to be angry? Am I just supposed to bottle everything up inside?
At this rate, I’d be a perfect candidate for a mental health facility. Sometimes you just need to vent, and more often than not, it’s the patients who push those buttons—starting an argument when you're just trying to do your job. Well, this is my chance to let it all out and tell them exactly what I think, whether they deserve it or not
It’s a shame , but it happens
Oh, I almost forgot—we don't actually need sleep... sorry, Angela Bailey30... it must be absolutely terrifying for you. I assume you're pulling 72-hour stretches without blinking whenever you're on call? Yeah... right.
They’re yours to interpret—clearly you’re seeing them through a different lens than I intended
I wasn't trying to be unkind; my only thought was that it might actually be helpful for you in the moment. But, by all means, believe whatever you like
Nobody actually treats you like doctors—that’s just something you've imagined
Hey Angela Bailey30, here’s a little bit of culture for you
Get lost, man!

Come on now—let's go! 😬
