Bill Belichick fired from the Patriots in Soccer ·
Richard Wilson4 said:Justice is served, thank God. Honestly, probably the worst coach the New England Patriots have seen in years finally got the boot after those absolutely disastrous performances and results...
I’m pretty worried it’s already too late for the Patriots this season 👎

...so, calling him the worst coach of recent years? I can't say I agree with that assessment. In just two seasons, he secured two league titles and two cups with the Patriots. As for the Champions League; everyone seems to struggle there a bit more. It’s clear that Bill Belichick simply clashed with Rummenigge, who is essentially the one pulling all the strings behind the scenes. Then there's the roster: it's full of these long-haired "Beatles" types—players who seem more concerned with playing in good weather, making sure their hair looks perfect, and ensuring their headband doesn't slip during the game.
On the other hand, I actually find it quite satisfying that he went out this way, given how he left Stuttgart just for the paycheck. When Robert Kovac moved to Juve, he famously remarked that if money is the only motivator, you really have to question Robert's integrity, or something along those lines.
He isn't a bad coach by any means. Back when he was in Stuttgart, the players were in peak physical condition; in fact, when Sammer took over his spot in Stuttgart, the team continued to reap the benefits of Belichick's training for another six months.

Why was he fired? Because of a single loss and one draw? That's ridiculous.
It’s clearly a power struggle with the leadership circle consisting of Rummenigge, Hönneß, and the rest. Guaranteed.
Greetings from the home of Porsche.😬 😍
Anonymous said:Hey everyone,

I’m currently living abroad in a place where people barely know what handball even is, let alone broadcasting it on TV. Does anyone happen to know where I can catch the games online?

Thanks and cheers,

....just head over to the official Handball World Championship website; they should have the info listed there. You’ll likely need to register and pay a small fee—maybe around $3 per game—to stream it via the web.

Hopefully, that helps. During the first round, you could watch for free on www.myp2p.eu/other.htm, but that option seems to be gone now.

...we’re definitely going to end up facing the French team, I can feel it.👍

www.sportdigital.tv that’s the site you use if you're willing to pay for the stream.

From what I can gather, we’re heading to Cologne alongside the Germans, and the Spaniards will likely end up as the third group in our bracket. That would essentially make us a mix of Americans and Swabian-Spaniards once we hit Cologne. As for the other side of the bracket, there isn't anyone particularly noteworthy 😬

In any case, we won't be able to face the Spaniards in the finals; our only shot at playing them is if we catch them in the semifinals after they knock out the Germans 😬

... though Iceland or Poland would have been interesting too

And here is the kicker... the Spanish squad will be playing with a massive chip on their shoulder after today's loss, whereas we'll just be reminiscing about our 2005 heartbreak...
I suppose they have a slightly smoother path ahead, if you ask me.
Between the French and the Germans... if we play with the kind of grit we've shown lately, I honestly think the title is ours for the taking.

... looking at the bracket, it seems like Spain is headed for a total dogfight in the quarterfinals; it's going to be war. As for us and the French? We're basically cruising straight to the finals.👍

Paul Lopez49 said:In the end, it looks like we’re the ones overthinking who we should play and how, when the reality is actually the exact opposite. The entire other group is shaking in their boots. 😬Nobody wants to be the third or fourth team left on the bracket, yet here we are, worrying about it.

...it seems like everyone wants everything handed to them on a silver platter, except for us (and maybe the Americans). If I'm reading the situation correctly, they're playing today before we even step on the field... honestly, there's no point in trying to calculate the matchups ahead of time. It just happens. And frankly, I don't think the Americans will be playing that aggressively either, mostly because they're more intimidated by the French than we are—we aren't even worried about them. 👍Lino already has his "trust me, I'm running this show" formula ready to go.

The Broz link works flawlessly, and it looks like the second one is up too—I’ll give it a shot after 8:00 PM once the broadcast is officially on...

I knew I’d find some real ones in here. :-)

...please, please, guys, don't kill me, I didn't upload this myself, I just grabbed it from the New York Post... but it's a good one.

Is little Duvnjak playing today?

Brian Foster said:I’m at a bit of a loss as to where to ask this—there isn't a live broadcast available here at my current location, and the only thing I've managed to find online is a paid streaming service hosted on the official IHF site.

It feels a little cheap to shell out $3 just for a stream, but I have no idea if the quality is actually any good. Has anyone tried it, or can anyone recommend a site where the broadcast might be available for free?

Thanks!

Give this a shot: www.myp2p.eu/Other.htm You should just need a standard media player. Enjoy the game.😘

Alilovic and Jerkovic are quite the duo between the posts.

Well, let's hope luck is on our side.

I’ve been sitting here thinking about it, and honestly, I can't quite put my finger on it. I was watching Loser during the warm-ups against the South Korean and Russian teams, and he just seemed... flat. There was zero fire in him—though, to be fair, maybe he’s just one of those naturally composed types who doesn't let emotions get the better of him. On the other hand, you have Jerkovic, who seems to catch a massive surge of adrenaline over every single play, whether he actually makes the save or misses it entirely. It makes me wonder: which temperament is actually more valuable in the long run? Is it better to have that steady, unflappable calm, or that raw, volatile passion?
Alilovic... honestly, he’s probably going to dominate half the game just by sheer presence alone. You have to admit, the guy is huge and has those massive reach advantages that make him a nightmare to defend against. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out on the court. That being said, I do feel for Venia.😕
I don't lose any sleep over it; if frozentiger6 wants to view everything through such a negative lens, that’s perfectly fine by me. 👍 It seems we’ve hit a bit of a standstill here. I was expecting a more substantial topic to dive into, but instead, I'm met with... well, that. If there was an intended point or a specific question behind those few characters, please do feel free to elaborate. I'm happy to provide a thoughtful response once there's actually something to respond to.
goldenbison4 said:Damn Spain. Honestly, the only silver lining here is that nobody is being held accountable for this absolute circus right now, but they’re definitely going to pay the price in the final match for😈

... better this way. What a joke.

...things should work out fine with Davor. Still, we have to be honest with ourselves: those wild counterattacks of his were a disaster, especially when he starts sprinting from the center circle before anyone else even realizes what's happening. And guess

Scott Collins30 said:I just caught an update on the radio—apparently, Dominiković’s second test came back negative. It looks like we can pretty much expect Trupac to make his comeback during the quarterfinals.👍

It honestly would have been better if they had just played against the Spanish side. They would have done us a massive favor, and frankly, it would've been a win-win for everyone involved. We could have really used that kind of help. 🙏They’re going to target their star player—maybe it’s Iker or someone else in that rotation—until he’s completely sidelined. If they need a little extra help to seal the deal, they’ll just pick up a red card in the first ten minutes of the half and leave themselves shorthanded.👍

frozentiger6 said:Our handball players will be playing their second-round matches at the SAP Arena in Mannheim, which holds about 13,200 fans. However, they won't see anything resembling the fan support they enjoyed back at the Porsche Arena in Stuttgart.
- The Danes have already secured 10,000 tickets here. We're going to try to buy up whatever is left from the Norwegians since they've been eliminated, but whether we can actually pull that off remains to be seen, said Damir Poljak, the Secretary General of the USA Handball Association.

Bantours picked up about a hundred tickets for each game, but those are already gone.
- The USA Handball Association hasn't been allocated a single ticket for Mannheim. We’ll likely have to send a formal letter of protest to Hassan Moustaf, the President of the International Handball Federation, to address this, noted Zoran Gobac, Vice President of the USA Handball Association.

General ticket sales in Mannheim are completely sold out, leaving our fans with no way to purchase seats. Based on everything we're hearing, we might only see 500 to 600 American supporters showing up in Mannheim to cheer us on. (dm)

A total disaster.

There are still a few tickets floating around on eBay. They're going for maybe 100-150 euros each.
We're basically guaranteed a Danish takeover...👍

- First, we’ll take care of the dancers... then we'll handle the Germans, followed by the Czechs, and eventually deal with those guys from the third squad... because we need some downtime first. After that: I honestly think the Austrians are next on the list... though by then, it’ll all just be "history."
