Man, when I think back on the transportation situation, it was easily the absolute worst part. Getting somewhere is one thing, but trying to figure out how to get back home... it was a nightmare until my driver's license finally arrived 😁; just in time for me to be able to drive myself.

It’s basically their version of a reward system. If they behave, they get granted maybe 30 minutes of internet access per day—just enough of a carrot to motivate them to keep playing nice with the rest of the crazies.
Regarding the Sonic, nobody forced you to pick that specific setup, and honestly, I’ll give you $19 just to end this debate: if you hate looking at it, just swap in some plexiglass. 😁 Have you even considered adding some color inside the chassis?
And just look at how he's holding it... 🙂 You don't hold a motherboard (or any other component) like that 🙂 ; I still remember back in my first hour of lab class when the professor asked how you're supposed to handle electronic components. Naturally, the answer is => grab them by the edges to avoid any direct contact with the circuitry, because even a tiny touch can fry them instantly. And where on earth is his anti-static wrist strap 😕? ☕

Look, there’s plenty of content out there, but most of it isn't actually a tutorial—it’s just someone showing off what they built. Personally, I wouldn't find much value in scouring the web for some custom chassis someone else slapped together just to rip off their ideas for my own rig; that's not really the point. When you actually design something from scratch yourself, the process becomes rewarding because you end up with something truly original instead of a cheap imitation. => It won't be FAKE. 👍
@Jeremy Myers69/">@@Jeremy Myers69; it’s incredibly unprofessional to wander through threads just to advertise yourself like that. If that’s what you want to do, put the link in your signature and contribute something meaningful to the conversation instead of spamming. Most people will naturally click a link in a signature if they're interested.
I have absolutely no clue how it actually works, but I know for a fact it does! XD Just grab the one from the igniter, unglue the old one, swap in this new one, and you're good to go; you honestly can't mess this up.
I’ve swapped out both a 12cm fan and an 8cm one in two different power supplies. They’re identical to the stock fans inside the units; the only difference is you don't deal with any connectors because they're soldered directly onto the PCB and then covered in silicone. It makes getting to the solder points a total pain. You basically have to grab some pliers and a pair of wire strippers, then just bridge the matching colored terminals together... you'll figure it out.
Thought I’d jump back in here and share an update... A few weeks back, I finished some minor PC Modding tweaks, but honestly, I just haven't had the bandwidth to get the photos uploaded. Since I finally ditched the DVD drive—which was a total waste of space in my build—I ended up with this perfect little pocket of room that I decided to put to good use. P I also went ahead and stripped out the Molex splitter (since I had an extra one lying around after removing the drive), which made the internal cable management look way cleaner. It actually improved the airflow too; that front intake (the red one in picture 4) and the RGB setup (as you can see in picture 1) now drive the primary airflow through the chassis much more effectively.
Tell me, is there actually anything left inside that case that you haven't already stripped out? I mean, seriously, you’ve basically gutted the whole thing 😬
It’s clearly UV—you can tell by those white papers reflecting the light—but I find it a bit strange how much blue light is bleeding through. It really shouldn't be glowing blue; it ought to be a purple hue since we're talking about ultraviolet...
northerncrane33 said:Yeah, they should glow if you have a UV lamp; those cables light up, like for the hard drive... Back in the day with old power supplies, the cables were basically "coated"—similar to how almost everything comes sleeved nowadays—but the difference was they'd only glow under UV light...
I know exactly what you mean, I've got them right here. 😉
( Does anyone happen to know where I can pick up a "reversed" case? I don't quite know how to put it, but I mean a case where, say, when you're swapping out a GPU, the right side panel opens instead of the left. )
Raymond Hernandez14 said:So, about that UV neon light... I picked up the one from > with the yellow rays (Sharkoon)... so anything that's even slightly greenish or yellow really pops under it. I'll snap some photos with my DSLR so you guys can see the details properly... basically every single jumper stands out... it's cool 😁... but I definitely need to grab my camera. This is just a quick shot from my phone so you can all see the "CLEAN CABLE MANAGEMENT" 😁 😁 😉
Actually, those aren't even UV lights. They shouldn't glow that intensely. With true UV, you don't really "see" the light itself; you see whatever the light is hitting. That thing isn't UV—it looks more like a blue neon bulb.
placidcanyon2 said:Just some low-tier, junk PC Modding... 😁 It’s an old, beat-up Neverpower build; I drilled a hole for a 120mm fan in the front and fabricated custom drive mounts just to get decent airflow. For the GPU (NVIDIA GeForce FX 5900), I slapped on a salvaged Cooler Master Hyper 212 heatsink, and I swapped out the fan in the PSU (Corsair H100). Thank God, I'm finally stuffing this mess into a decent case later this week.
This thing is basically 89% pure chaos... why did you even bother taking a photo of this? You've got enough cables there to knit a pair of high-quality wool socks. ☕
