And Marlon Brando, right? 😁
Look, I’m not necessarily saying I’m all for it, BUT why not just shoot something entirely fresh? You could take the narrative right back to the absolute beginning, or maybe dive much deeper into the lore and actually expand the universe... at least when you're dealing with the mafia, there's an endless supply of gritty material to work with. Think about it: after those first two Batman films, every single sequel felt like total garbage, until Nolan took the reins and gave the whole franchise a completely new lease on life.
It’s a solid piece of filmmaking. If I had one gripe, it’s that everyone viewed it through the shadow cast by 'Gladiator,' and honestly, it’s a tall order to replicate that kind of lightning in a bottle—especially when you're essentially looking at a mirror image with the same director, the same lead actor, and a similar historical backdrop.
All things considered, after all the nonsense we've seen lately, this feels like a genuine Robin Hood 👍
This movie is looking incredibly promising to me! I’m expecting something along the lines of Gladiator, perhaps just a notch below that level of greatness, but even then, that would still be a solid 👍
.
Does anyone happen to know when the trailer is scheduled to drop?
Of course it’s him! While everyone else is just playing at being an action star, he’s the actual Rambo. And you don't mess with Rambo.😁

Piracy is the only way to go. Watching those official releases just ruins the experience for me.🙂

It seems like everywhere I turn, the shelves are stripped bare, and all I get from the staff is that vague, dismissive line about how they might have some in stock once the shipment finally arrives.
I spotted this on Amazon, but they’re being pretty vague about whether it actually includes American English subtitles or not.
Honestly, I’m just looking for any local shop here in the States, or even just an e-commerce site, provided they have English subtitles available. That’s really all I need. Much appreciated.
www.blitz.hrYou can place your order through them if you want.
It’s honestly just trash—a complete departure from what actually happened on the ground. When movies are produced in direct collaboration with the military, they end up sanitizing the grit, cutting out anything that doesn't fit their preferred narrative.
Take a look at "Messenger Wind," for example. There was a scene in the original script where a sailor pulls the teeth from a corpse, but they completely scrubbed it from the final cut. Why? Because once you accept the military's backing, you're essentially letting them hand you their entire machine and dictate exactly how the story is told.
If you want to see a war movie that actually feels authentic, you have to look at something like "Apocalypse Now." Since it wasn't produced under the thumb of military oversight, it manages to stay truthful to the chaos.

redwalker6 says: It’s pure cinematic kitsch. The absolute highlight is right at the start when some character tries to imply Sylvester Stallone thinks he’s still Rambo, only for Stallone to just blast that tank with his pistol and mutter that Rambo being a wimp is a thing of the past.🤣 🤣 🤣 |

that those two definitely don't hold a candle to what should have won. Personally, I think
the wins were totally undeserved compared to the other heavy hitters (Se7en, The Usual Suspects)—which, if you ask me,
are much better films.
I honestly believe that Rocky stands out as perhaps the best film ever to win an Oscar. 😉
One more thing before I go!
It feels like the human physique has undergone a complete, grotesque transformation lately. Just look at what these growth hormones are doing to people! 😲

Most people only ever see him through the lens of characters like Rocky or Rambo, which essentially defines his entire legacy in the public eye. It’s easy to overlook the fact that he actually graduated from art school and has penned about twenty different screenplays himself...
He isn't just some muscle-bound brawler; the man is a legitimate actor and a writer to boot. If you’ve ever sat through CopLand, you'll know exactly what I mean.
Stallone?🙂
Hands down, the greatest action icon to ever grace the silver screen.👍
