Kimberly Gomez28 said:I actually found the movie pretty entertaining; I had a good laugh a few times. My favorite part was when "that guy who isn't Will Smith" (okay, excuse me, my brain just short-circuited) explains his sexual issues while the camera captures everything and broadcasts it to all the TVs, much to the delight of the crowd in the restroom...

...and then this Black woman walks in with her son and drops the line, "You two motherfuckers need Jesus!"😁

That was easily the funniest scene in the whole film. Honestly, though, the movie could have been cut by thirty minutes and still been just as good.

jay said:Honestly, I thought the Latina actress was better than Mila Kunis. That scene where the pansy shoots the zombie girl in the leg, and she just stands back up and empties the whole clip into her... ha! Hands down the best part of the movie.

(By the way, does anyone know the name of the woman whose head gets sliced off by the laser at the start? At first, I thought it was Scarlett Johansson in Kill Bill, but apparently not. Indra Ove? I don't know, which is why I can't find any pictures of this Indra Ove character online. It’s a cool name, though, in any case.)

Michelle Rodriguez made a much stronger impression than Mila Kunis in that film.
The woman you're thinking of—the one who gets her head cut off by the elevator at the beginning—is Indra Ove.

As for the comments claiming Silent Hill is garbage: I disagree. I'll concede it isn't Oscar-worthy material (certainly not), but it remains the best video game adaptation we've seen so far (alongside Mortal Kombat). I won't count Lara Croft, because Angelina Jolie couldn't save that mess in either of the two films. Actually, the second one might have been fine if it wasn't ruined by fifty clunky slow-motion scenes.

I’d appreciate it if Fleming stayed away from this discussion. We aren't looking for your input here, and frankly, you brought this on yourself.

Furthermore, I suggest Richard Hernandez13 takes his moderation tactics elsewhere.

I've always been a fan of Marc Beltrami's work (Mimic, Scream 1,2,3, Resident Evil)—it fits perfectly within the horror genre... truly ideal for getting the adrenaline pumping.

Given that the sequel is going to feature such a massive ensemble cast, I suspect the runtime will be significantly longer than the ninety minutes we saw in the first film.

Paul Gonzalez70 said:Who is the director?

Alexander Witt is making his directorial debut here, though he has significant experience working as a second unit director (essentially handling the action sequences) on major productions such as: XXX, Black Hawk Down, The Bourne Identity, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Gladiator.

Word is the guy was incredibly picky when selecting his first feature project, so let's hope the result actually holds up.

The official release date is set for September 24, 2004.

However, filming wrapped up by late October, several effects were finished two months ago, and they’ve been editing the film while still shooting—which is highly unconventional. A few people involved in the production have suggested we might see an earlier release around March or April 2004.🙂

Hmm... fans complained after the first installment that it didn't feel connected to the game at all.

Then, for the second part, they made several changes:
- They brought in Jill Valentine, Carlos Oliveira, Nicole, and Nemesis (for those who are familiar with the third entry in the series)
- There will be at least three times as much action.
- And according to those who have read the script, there's going to be more horror elements.
- Even Leon S. Kennedy (the character from the second game) is expected to be mentioned at some point.

And so on, and so forth...

It seems to me that the second part could actually turn out to be quite a bit better.

Alright, after some digging on a few forums where a couple of guys who actually worked on the production dropped some incredibly interesting details (no spoilers, I promise), all I can say is: I am beyond hyped for this movie!!!

The trailer for this movie looks absolutely incredible, and honestly, Kate Beckinsale is going to make me sprint straight to the theater.

Donnie Darko. Sure, it came out back in 2001, but anyone who has actually sat through it will tell you—Classic !!! It’s definitely worth watching multiple times.😲

Then there's: Imitation of Life, Div, and so on.
