Quick question, what's the max voltage for an Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 if I want it to run 24/7? I'm using an Ultra 120 Extreme cooler, no fan on the unit itself, just some 120mm fans in the front and back of the case.
Actually, it'd be way better if there was a site where you could calculate the exact dissipation for a specific frequency at a certain voltage for this CPU. I was thinking about hooking up two high-power FETs to the heatsink, wiring them in a loop to dissipate heat just like the processor would. That way I could see how the heatsink handles the temperature at a set dissipation, since actual data for this isn't really out there. Seems easier than touching the heatsink or relying on sketchy sensors.
No Doubt has some killer stuff from their older era. I love listening to them, here's my playlist:
Ache, Everything in Time, Big Distraction, Leftovers, Under Construction, Cellophane Boy, You're So Foxy, Let's Get Back, Get on the Ball, Big City Train, Sometimes, Sinking, Paulina, Don't Speak
tbh, I'd call this one "bullseye."😁 maybe we could keep this thread focused on the classics, assuming there isn't already a dedicated one out there. whatever.
fadedcanyon482 said:yeah, unfortunately that's just how it goes. they're basically creative geniuses with a totally warped sense of reality, expressing that creativity through murder. actual psychopaths probably plan their killings with the same insane level of detail that Bach, Mozart, or Shakespeare put into their work... so I guess that explains their weird taste in music too...🤷
ps. don't go thinking I'm actually some fan of killers and psychopaths 😲
Psychopaths are usually pretty educated types with high IQs and refined tastes, so it actually makes sense that they have good musical taste and listen to real music
On the flip side, you don't see them listening to those wannabe gangsta rappers or just random criminals who kill way more people and then brag about it (which is basically proof of low intelligence, like some lazy sloth, I guess) while blasting shitty R&B garbage all day long
So whatever, man. Watch more movies
And you gotta admit, the first group does it with style, whereas the other guys just spray everything at you—you might survive, but ten other people end up dead
So, I picked up some Nudie and APC denim online from the States. Honestly? Pretty surprised by how good they feel. The fit is spot on, stitching looks solid, and the fabric actually feels high-end—super soft and comfortable. Plus, the price wasn't even that bad. Too bad you can't really find them easily around here, in my experience.
Also just grabbed some Seven For All Mankind jeans recently. I’m stoked with them. Definitely recommend them, especially if you're buying them in the US since they're way cheaper there.
Yeah, that's about it. I'm officially done with D&G and Versace jeans. I used to buy them, but they aren't any better than these brands—they're just twice or three times the price for nothing.
If you're looking at Italian stuff, I'd say Dior Home is the only one that's actually in a league of its own.🙏
So, I've been sober from designer denim for a while now, but I still got maybe 30+ pairs sitting in my closet. I'll weigh in...
Lee and Wrangler—honestly, they have the best bang for your buck. Great quality, solid fits, tons of options, and the prices are killer. There was a time when I pretty much only wore them.
Mustang... meh. The cuts are kind of basic, quality is just okay. You might stumble upon a decent pair if you look hard enough, but I gave up searching for those ages ago. Overall? Nothing special.
Levi's... man, they're a disaster where I live. Quality is trash. Last time I picked up some 501s was maybe 5 or 6 years ago, and they fell apart after just a few washes. Haven't touched them since. Probably because of how local manufacturing went downhill.
Diesel... yeah, standard stuff. Really good jeans, great quality, and the fits are top-tier. They’re always dropping new stuff too, so shopping there stays interesting. Truth is, their prices keep climbing, but I guess that's just life these days, right? I've never actually broken the bank for Diesel, though back in $500 when I was in Milan, I could snag first-line D&G, Versace, Dsquared2, and all that at the outlets...
Regarding those high-end brands, I think Versace has the best cuts, but D&G feels like it might be a bit higher quality for the same price. At least that's how it looks to me when I compare a few pieces I own. I guess time and wear will tell.
Just enjoy the pizza and maybe start hitting the gym or running a few miles a day
That's my routine. No jokes about it. I overeat constantly, honestly, but I hit the pool every other day in the winter, plus running and biking. It works
Good topic. On regular weekdays, I usually crash around 1 or 2 AM—rarely earlier. If I’ve got classes in the morning, I get up at 6:30 and I’m fine. BUT, when my classes aren't until the afternoon, I try to get up around 10, which is what I should do, and that's where it gets messy. If I wake up at 10, I feel like I got hit by a semi-truck. I can't even get out of bed and just end up sleeping until 11 or 11:30. Once I finally move, then I'm okay. Just saying, if I get up at 6 or 7, I don't have any issues.
It’s also a total mess if I go to bed early because I'm completely wiped out. Like, if I hit the sack at 10 PM and someone wakes me up at 9 or 10 AM, there's a high chance they're getting a heavy object thrown at them in a dive bar. Half the time I don't even have the energy to open my mouth. Plus, waking up at 7 is fine, but if I keep sleeping until noon... man, that's basically 14 hours of sleep.
I know, I've got a problem, but I don't really know what it is or why it happens. I haven't really put much thought into it, though.
I've tried forcing myself to get up at 7 or 7:30 every morning, even when I don't have to, but it just doesn't work. I love sleeping in, and honestly, I don't have anything to do that early anyway. I don't drink coffee, I don't watch the local morning news, and I can only really focus on studying after 8 or 9 PM. That's when my brain actually works.
