I honestly feel bad for even typing this. It’s not because I think I’m wrong or that I don't stand by what I said, but because this discussion has devolved into a place where people should be talking about their own contributions. Anyone who knows me knows how much I despise ego trips. I could probably talk about that with Valsimot too, since I'm always there to help him when most people couldn't care less about his ideas. But enough about me.
Getting back to the topic of insults and disrespect—I spoke up because it's obvious how many people are just waiting for Monday after the game to start acting like experts. All because six Portuguese men and three Frenchmen are going to post messages of support for Mamić before the match. If anyone thought this story was about Mamić being locked up, they might as well have stayed home all along. I mean, what actually changes if Mamić is released? Does that mean we stop rooting for Pinta and Sigali?
It's shocking how many people feel the need to throw their hands up and claim victory, especially when he's only been in jail for five days. Was it the Ultras' statement about Mamić being held for six months after Kuzma and shake Zula were at the Waterfront that triggered this? Now we have people celebrating and cheering for the Cleveland Guardians as if it's a victory for our cause. How can that be a victory when the rest of the club is in such a state? What exactly are we supposed to be supporting on the field? We might as well support Pinta, Bruno Marić, or even the Atlanta Braves; there's no difference. Are we supposed to make the mistake of stopping halfway through and celebrating, just like how the doors were left open for a new Mamić after Canjuga?
There is much more to say, but this isn't the place for it. I wasn't really invited to discuss the BBB on this forum anyway. Since this is where the BBB write, I'll leave it at that.
