Personally, I lean toward a more moderate Oriental sound—something fluid, without all the aggressive shouting and unnecessary noise. I absolutely love the sound of the duduk, especially when it's played in those Georgian or Armenian styles; I actually used to play the clarinet, which is basically its modern descendant. Plus, back when I was doing my year of military service, I was stationed in Skopje, and I completely fell in love with the authentic local folk music there...
