Sean Morales2 said:Can I deposit at BetMGM using a checking account held in USD? I have a VISA card from JP Morgan Chase marked as Intel.

If that card has the specific code for "online transactions" on the back, you should be good to go.🙄

Jack Collins58 said:What does this actually mean on BetMGM? My betting account is set to USD, but I’m using an Intel debit card linked to a checking account held in dollars. Should I be looking out for any headaches here?

I don't think you'll have any issues. When you send money in dollars, it just converts over to USD... obviously at whatever the current exchange rate happens to be. 🙂

I don't know if anyone here is actually following the NHL, but this looks pretty "ridiculous" to me...
I was digging through the stats for tonight's three games, and my eyes kept landing on Detroit and St. Louis... at first glance—and even after a second and third look—taking the away team seems like the play, but the odds are telling a different story... the price for the underdog jumped from 4.35 up to a massive 5.15 on DraftKings, while Detroit dropped from 1.57 down to 1.46 on FanDuel 🤷

I’m with Scyth on this one... Goldman Sachs is definitely the least of our worries here. 👍

Got an update (about 28 minutes ago, though I haven't checked yet)... they fixed the odds on the France game from 2.50 down to 1.50... as for the game in Greece, they told me to keep an eye out because they expect the odds to shift again later. 🤣

I don't want to start a whole new thread just for this, so I'll just keep going here...

Is it actually possible for the odds on a Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics win tomorrow (basketball) to be sitting at 1.00? At least, that's how it looks over on DraftKings.

Meanwhile, over at The Ritz-Carlton and Benjamin Franklin, there isn't even an odd listed for the home team, but the away side is at 0.93.😂

I just got off the phone with them... we'll see what comes of it.🤷
Easy ways to make some quick cash? in Miscellaneous ·
Sean Lee6 said:1. how to make easy money
2. what to invest in

don't bother mentioning sports betting, I've been doing that forever.🙂

online
1. the easiest way is those PTC sites, but since they "hardly ever" pay out, you're better off hitting up OnlyFans and working a side hustle together—money hits your Chase account reliably. It’s not a jackpot, but it beats wasting time on clicking ads.☕
2. hunt down people with killer ideas for websites or indie games... then invest in their skills and help them master the craft.☕

offline
1. chopping wood out in the suburbs or rural areas... nothing else comes to mind that's actually easy work.😍
2. go to college and network with high-level professionals so you can land a decent spot at a major firm later.😍

muhaha (fingers crossed)

Peace and blessings

Pretty sure the minimum deposit at most places like DraftKings is $10... you almost never see anything for $5

Look, you don't have to drop $300 on a single bet at 1.5 odds just to clear this... You just need to hit a total wagering volume of $300. It’s basic math. For example, if you put $10 down today on a 1.50 line, you get your return. Do that again tomorrow with another $10 at 1.50, and you've logged $20 in total action. You still need another $280 to satisfy the requirements, then the bonus is officially cleared and you can finally request your first payout. 👍

Benjamin Rogers3 said:Are we talking about MoneyBookers here?
How does that actually work?

Look, you just set up a MoneyBookers account. Then you find someone nearby—someone you actually trust—and you hand them something like $27 in cash. In exchange, they send you 10 bucks from their own MoneyBookers account. From there, you just push that over to DraftKings. 🙄

Benjamin Rogers3 said:I’m not trying to get rich or anything. I just want to place some casual bets online because the local betting shop is way too far from where I live.

Anyone have an account on a site like DraftKings (even if they don't need it) with a little extra cash they could lend me?
The thing is, I don't have a credit card. I’d gladly deposit the money myself, but I just don't have one....

😂

Just find someone to do a bank transfer for you... give them the cash in person and have them send it to your account via Chase.☕

Anthony Martin19 said:Man, it’s the exact same headache over here. I made a deposit to my BetOnline account this morning around 11:15 AM—just ten bucks—and even though the balance shows up clearly, the second I try to actually place a bet, it tells me I have insufficient funds. I lost my mind. Now I want my money back, but get this: they don't even support Visa for withdrawals. What a joke. Honestly, I should just stick with DraftKings.

I'm staying with DraftKings for sure... A while back, I was looking to bet on a German second division hockey game, but it wasn't even listed on DraftKings because they don't carry their second league. The game ended up being a total layup—a 3:3 tie that went to overtime and hit perfectly. I would've been eating good if I could've placed that bet. Thanks for nothing, DraftKings.😛
Do you report posts and signatures? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
I mean, what’s even the point? You can slide by with any fake signature or shady post you want, while people like me end up getting penalized for absolutely nothing. But hey, that’s just how things work in this country. If the system is broken, I guess we all just live with it. 😍
Best software for making Flash games? in Software ·
It’s pretty easy to get through... at least it used to be for me. My biggest issue, honestly, the only real hurdle I run into, is that I have zero clue how to actually draw anything that looks like a real object. So, naturally, I end up putting everything off until the last minute. 😍

Maybe this isn't quite the right thread for this, but since we're already circling the topic...

What’s everyone's experience been like with direct card withdrawals? I'm curious about what kind of amounts have cleared without a hitch versus what kind of sums trigger red flags or headaches. Any specific thresholds you've run into?😕

I’ll be honest, I’ve never actually used my own cash to fund a PayPal account, so I can’t tell you exactly how the plumbing works. But if you head over to the Finance section, there’s an entire thread dedicated to PayPal. You should probably just ask around there if nobody here gives you a straight answer... or just dig through the old posts in that thread. There might already be an answer waiting for you.

Look, I know how things work over at DraftKings, but honestly, it’s pretty much the same across the board... if you want to withdraw funds using a specific method, you first have to make a deposit through that exact same channel.

In your situation, here is what you do: just deposit the minimum amount from your PayPal account into the sportsbook first. That way, they have a record of your account on file. Once that's done, you can request a withdrawal back to your PayPal and everything should go through without a hitch...

I've done it myself using both a Visa debit card and PayPal, and both ways worked perfectly fine for me.😛

Raymond Nelson47 said:Solid math 😉, I put in my own 20 bucks alongside those extra 5 bucks, and now I'm sitting at 103 dollars 😁 after hitting three times... caught the NBA last night, one parlay this afternoon, and a third one tonight 😁

So look, buddy, you’ve clearly decided to go on a crusade for that extra 5% profit on every winning ticket... you're gonna be swiping that Visa card at the grocery store until they flag you for suspicious activity because of all those transactions 😍

Brian Hill said:Don't sweat it... just have some patience and the cash will show up in your account eventually...

btw. if you're doing online betting, I'd suggest using a JP Morgan Chase Visa Electron card. It costs a few bucks a month, but you handle everything through online banking and the funds hit your sportsbook account instantly. Basically, within seconds

That’s my recommendation too. I also have a foreign currency account with JP Morgan Chase, so if it works for me, it should work for anyone. 😁

Jamie Jones19 said:I've got two quick questions for you guys! Yesterday, $28 credited me for an incorrect bet, so I went ahead and used those $28 to place more wagers. But then today, they took that $28 right back, and now it's just sitting there in my DraftKings account as a $28.
Am I actually obligated to pay that back, and what kind of trouble am I looking at if I don't?
Also, is it true that they require ID verification via a driver's license when you're trying to withdraw funds to a Visa?

Thanks a ton!

Man, DraftKings has more operational glitches than actual cash flowing through their system daily.😁

If I were you, I’d hit up customer support and play dumb. Act like you have no idea they ever gave you the money in the first place.$28 Just play the "where did my $28 go?" card and see how long you can stall.🤷
