It seems the Mexicans have already buckled, even without a single shot being fired. My colleagues are reporting that fuel and basic necessities are already running dry. I suppose it’s possible this is all just more theater, leaving them once again acting as nothing more than puppets on a string. We shall see ☕
It seems quite evident that Mariupol would be one of the primary objectives of this invasion, likely becoming a major flashpoint, especially given how these movements 🙏🙏
Someone mentioned that our people are in Mariupol; I wonder if that information has been verified, and whether there have been any casualties among our own?
It seems that practically the entire Eastern European Union has adopted a rather hostile stance toward Russia. In fact, they appear to be taking an even more aggressive position than the West, almost as if they have nothing left to lose. I suppose it will be quite difficult for these diplomatic relations to improve anytime soon under the current order, regardless of how things eventually settle with Ukraine.

Picking on people based on their nationality just to mess with them because they're Russian—there's zero logic in that... If the government hits them with sanctions and, more importantly, cuts off the funding for their war machine, that's plenty.
Some of you guys here would probably enjoy seeing Russians literally starve. You don't even realize that thinking like that makes you just as bad as the people you're fighting against.
That is a heavy signature. It feels like just another instance of this rather senseless cancel culture.
It’s a bit of a shame, really; I suppose it might have been quite pleasant to introduce myself properly to all the different groups through one of those professional introductions we used to see on the forum, just so I could follow along with the championship from my own little bubble 🙂

I suppose Americans tend to gravitate toward that kind of relationship.

It isn't exactly true that everything in the world is manufactured over there anymore. I suppose what the Chinese produce on such a massive scale simply isn't profitable for the West, mostly because nobody here seems particularly interested in doing that kind of labor. It’s arguably much easier to just repackage goods made in China. A rather simple example might be light bulbs.
Of course, they manufacture serious equipment as well; they have certainly caught up to Western standards of expertise quite some time ago.
Well, it seems we’ve reached a point where everyone is just attacking one another. I suppose that certainly wasn't the intended purpose of the text or the experience being shared 😵

Or is it simply a byproduct of the sluggish rollout of general pandemic measures, combined with the insufficient capacity and quality of our healthcare system—shortcomings that manifest on a daily basis even during normal times?
And what is the purpose of those of you who aren't shortsighted and understand that this isn't some binary struggle between public health and the economy? What is the real fight here? And specifically, what should or shouldn't have been done during the beginning and middle of March?
Please be specific; anyone can post cryptic comments and dislikes until they're blue in the face.
I suppose the point is that no one will ever be held accountable for this catastrophic string of decisions and the countless lives that may have been lost in vain.
It isn't just that no one will answer for it; I almost expect people to hand out medals for success instead.
