I am certainly not trying to disparage Parker, though I suppose one could argue he wasn't exactly the undisputed maestro of his era. If you happen to browse YouTube, you might notice how Kukoc consistently outclasses both local talent and top-tier EuroLeague players. Even after moving to the NBA, he managed to make a significant impact, despite operating under circumstances vastly different from those Parker faced. I suspect that if Kukoc had played during Parker’s prime, his NBA statistics would have been even more impressive, and he likely would have led his own squad to victory as well.

I think Drazen would have been better—actually, I'm pretty sure he would have been—but unfortunately, his passing meant we never got to see that happen.
And honestly, it’s a total disgrace that Kuki isn't in the Hall of Fame.
I think I gave up on following the NBA entirely after people started laughing at me when I suggested that Tony Parker couldn't possibly be bigger than Kukoc. I mean, even you were laughing at me, I think.🤣

Biased garbage, just like most of our news outlets. Honestly, CNN is objectively the highest quality, but you get what you pay for.
Babić is a hypocrite with a massive complex.
Back when the Advance group first launched, they felt like a heavy-handed Russian influence operation. Honestly, I haven't kept up enough to know what their current agenda is; perhaps things have shifted somewhat. 🤷

I suppose I don't quite understand the reason for that frowning emoji. In my estimation, Novak earned all that affection back when he pulled off that cool victory against Federer at the US Open right before clinching the title.
I suppose I always found Roger to be more endearing than Novak, at least until that particular match took place. However, after seeing how both Roger and the crowd handled things, I think I’ve been nudged toward supporting Novak instead.
It seems Federer let everything slip through his fingers with that late-game choke during last year's US Open. I suppose that's how Novak managed to firmly solidify his lead over the rest of the field ☕

The issue with Djokovic is his lifestyle. Ever since he started dating that woman, he’s turned into this total health nut—all about the vegan stuff and broccoli. It's ridiculous. Even his own people back home mock him constantly. He's totally lost his edge.
Looking at their head-to-head record, I guess that might be true.
It seems rather unlikely that President Trump could fully grasp the intricacies of this virus and still expect to achieve what was previously attempted, especially considering how many flawed decisions were made right from the jump. Perhaps we all collectively treated the pandemic with a certain level of levity, or maybe we are simply choosing to pretend otherwise now. One might argue that the medical establishment—specifically the WHO, followed by various epidemiologists and other scientists—has managed to embarrass itself more thoroughly than almost anyone else in recent memory.

As far as card games go, I’ve mostly stuck to things like Blackjack or maybe some Texas Hold'em. I suppose I never really took the time to learn how to play anything else.
Unfortunately, because of all the pandemic lockdowns, the Candidates tournament to find the next challenger for the world title got scrapped, but Magnus is putting together this massive online tournament instead, so there’s plenty to sink your teeth into. The only downside is trying to swallow that many videos a day if you're busy, though for me, there isn't much better than sitting down with my morning coffee and working through one or two brilliant games.👍
edit: It’s a bit chaotic jumping into his channel right in the middle of the tournament, so if you want to catch the beginning of this latest run, here is the first video.
I will be heading back home in a few days, so I should have enough time during my quarantine to catch up. I have played him since I was a child, and then I started playing more seriously on the ship with colleagues during my downtime. I guess I became quite obsessed, often spending the whole day just waiting for my turn to play, haha. I am actually looking forward to continuing to sharpen my skills. Once this isolation period passes, perhaps you can join me for a game of chess.😁
