They probably would've hit a different level if Nike had handled them, but hey, considering their usual "design" sense, these might actually be the best Reebok kits they've ever put out. Both River and Boca have basically stuck to the same look forever—just based on how the colors are split. Not trying to be nitpicky here, but River always had that red stripe on white, and Boca always rocked the horizontal yellow on blue. They messed around with a lighter shade of blue for a few years, but thankfully they finally brought back the original version a couple of seasons ago.![]()
Aside from that, maybe it's because of this, but after Dinamo, my two absolute favorite clubs are Boca and Celtic. Their kits are legendary. I actually love that Celtic hasn't gone crazy changing their designs all the time; the ones they've had since last season are top-tier:

Michelle Palmer6 said:Honestly, what’s wrong with Joma? Even Deportivo La Coruña has been using them for ages, and I don't see anyone complaining about the kits!
mellowowl38 said:I'm with you there. The kits would look so much sharper if the crest was over the left side, especially for those big Champions League nights, but hey, whatever. The placement on the shorts looks a bit weird too; we'll have to see how it actually looks once the players suit up.Now we just have to pray they don't go overboard with the sponsors... that's the one thing I'm actually dreading...🤷
Yeah... it would be killer if the away kit had ExxonMobil printed in gold instead of white, but for the rest? We'll just have to wait and see.
| Yeah... would be pretty sweet if they actually used gold lettering on the ExxonMobil away kits instead of just plain white. As for the rest of them? We'll see how that plays out. |
mellowowl38 said:Regarding the jersey sponsors—you probably already know they never actually had them before. See, Athletic Bilbao has always basically functioned as the unofficial national team of the Basque Country. Until just a few years ago, they weren't even allowed to field non-Basque players.
mellowowl38 said:Ever since these new owners took over, the whole club has been an absolute circus. I was reading somewhere that things got so heated over the new jersey designs that someone actually threw a Molotov cocktail at one of the owners' houses. It wasn't just that, either—apparently, their cars have been getting smashed in parking lots. It’s gotten so toxic that some of the board members actually packed up and moved away because they were being harassed on the street, and even their kids were getting targeted at school. It's honestly pathetic.
