Michelle Palmer6 said:Personally, I actually think it looks great! It definitely breaks away from the traditional style, but I honestly don't see what people are complaining about.🤷
It seems like nobody besides Real Madrid can pull off a decent jersey.🙄 Oh, and Atletico too, I guess.
Whatever, it's a 5/10. Just giving my two cents as an Arsenal fan—aka me...😉
I don't know, I'm just not feeling it. Both kits look like something you'd wear with a basic polo shirt...🤷
mellowowl38 said:Honestly, I think the kit is actually pretty solid. It’s simple, looks sharp, and isn't some loud, obnoxious mess like half the garbage they've dropped lately. In my book, the design work on both the home and away kits from last season was pure art.
It’s basically just a remix of the one above... honestly, they probably got bored of that old-school plain text look too... nothing revolutionary happening here.😉
Man, you should've seen this guy just bolt across the field after ripping the jersey off that idiot... three cops chasing him down, and right when he's about to scale the fence to get back in, the dude gets tackled again...😢
Honestly though, the cops were totally overreacting. It was barely even a scuffle... damn, last round, guys just hopped the fence to grab some jerseys, zero aggression, but these buzzcut idiots reacted like they were out to cut down goalposts... I was just sitting there waiting for one of those moron cops to pull out the tear gas again...👎
The Navy was killing it yesterday though, pure chaos in the best way...🙏
The only thing was, they clearly felt the chill, so they kept huddling up and blowing on their hands to stay warm...😬
Ronald Brooks75 said:I find it unappealing as well; it looks more like sleepwear than athletic gear. 🤷 😁 Or perhaps it is merely my own bias, given my profound dislike for navy blue jerseys. 😍 😬
You're not wrong, looks exactly like pajamas...🤮
Feels like they just took some basic polo shirt, slapped a logo and a sponsor on it, and now they're gonna try and sell it for $167...🙄
Thanks again, guys. Just did some digging, but my aunt over at Chase says I can't even use this card for online shopping...😲🤷
The guy at JPMorgan Chase was actually super helpful though, walked me through everything (internet banking works fine, don't need their specific access code, he even suggested setting up a standard checking account so I can just transfer money myself online, etc.), so I think I'm gonna head down there and get it all sorted out...😉
darkmaker94 said:Open a foreign currency account at Chase or JPMorgan Chase and grab a Visa Electron. It’s accepted everywhere and works perfectly with PayPal. You only spend what's actually in the account, so you don't have to worry about anyone draining your funds. 🙂 There aren't any membership fees for this one, unlike a Mastercard.
Can I even do this if my Chase account isn't a business account?🤷
Can someone just confirm how this actually works... so, I'm assuming I deposit money into the account (dollars or whatever, and they just convert it since it's a foreign currency account...🤷)...does it work abroad? (Might be a dumb question since it's a foreign account, but just double-checking...😁)...like, ATMs and stuff... asking because I travel a lot and want to know if it'll go through at hotels and places like that...🤷
So I went ahead and grabbed a Visa Prepaid card since I’m traveling a ton and do a lot of online shopping, but man, was I disappointed right out of the gate... I moved my cash over to the account perfectly fine, tried to buy some stuff, but absolutely nothing works. It won't even let me register it on PayPal, and every other attempt at buying something has been a total bust...👎
Anyway, anyone here actually have luck with these cards? Should I just send this junk back to them so they can refund me, and what would you guys suggest instead...🤷
I was thinking about just getting a standard Mastercard with maybe a $3-$1333 limit, just so I can pay for what I need—like hotels abroad, random online orders, whatever—or do you guys have a better idea? Thanks...🙂
Adam Williams2 said:this looks really cool, I wonder what kind of material it is? maybe cotton? 🤷
I guess if anyone around here knows where I could find something like this at a similar price point in Seattle, let me know. If it's even possible to find, I suppose. 😁
Pretty sure it isn't pure cotton...🤷...at least from how it felt when I touched it...feels more like a poly-cotton blend to me...🤷
blueridge32 said:I mean, anyone trying to haul that much stuff all the way from England would have to be crazy, right? Why do you think I didn't go overboard with the orders and just kept it small? 😉
Man, I gotta admit, those tanks actually look pretty sick... if they weren't green, though. Like, imagine them in blue or black instead...🙏🙏🙏
Don't just move this to Offside, just delete it... so we can actually talk about it on Offside without people acting like cowards, wondering if it's legit or not...😁
blueridge32 said:But hey, who cares, right? You snag them for $9.60 at General Motors and they're selling them for a hundred bucks. Everyone's winning!
So what's the move? Are we starting a business or what? Speaking of big margins, I was driving through New York City the other day and saw some black and navy FredPerry pieces for $80. Man, those are gonna fly off the shelves once half the stadium shows up... They don't even look bad from a distance, but you get close and you see it immediately...
I mean, we could actually do it. You and Edge already have a setup running anyway (Teddy and Jack LLC), so we just expand the business model...😁
blueridge32 said:Honestly, I'm feeling the same way. There’s so much other stuff on sale right now... It’s making me want to just go ahead and order something.
For instance, check out $28—all these prices are just insane, like way below market value. Anyone else here actually dealt with them before?
Pretty sure they're fakes, just look at that number... 5.70... give me a break...🤣
