Back in the day, Blackburn fans actually staged protests because the club signed a deal with Kappa for their kits... right when they’d just rolled out those insanely tight jerseys that no beefy Englishman could ever squeeze into. They were so pissed they ended up protesting right outside the stadium...🤣

Little Doug is finally finding his groove, and Buntić is proving once again to Woody that Kopljar isn't even in his league... Gojun is going to be a beast on defense—the kid's got that athletic swagger, even if he spent the early part of the game cleaning up Kopljar's messes...🙏

Shame about that last goal, but as long as Mike keeps playing like this, we're golden...🙏

Everything else is the same. Our offense is still clueless, and the defense is still giving up easy goals... That offensive stuff especially gets under my skin when we actually have an extra man... because whenever we're short-handed, our opponents exploit it immediately, but when we have the advantage, we can't seem to create any openings. Even when we do, we do it so clumsily that Cupic ends up taking a shot from an 85-degree angle🙄
I’d love to see the stats on how many goals we conceded while playing shorthanded versus how many we actually scored when we had the man advantage....

But hey, at least we had more than two players who actually felt like showing up, so we looked like a national team instead of some local pickup crew. Now the Americans need to do this again and head home with a 4 or 5 point lead😉
