It feels like 1999 was just yesterday, doesn't it? But somehow, eleven years have slipped by already. Looking at this photo from San Francisco today, nothing even comes close to how things used to be... Such a shame...

This whole thing where the Armada is isolating itself is easily one of the top three worst things people are doing right now. Sure, there needs to be a hierarchy in the stands, but the fan base is being split wide open between the hardcore crowd (the ones traveling for away games, doing the choreos, etc.) and everyone else who shows up to home games and loves Cleveland just as much.

Instead of building the Armada so that everyone, from the kids to the old-timers, feels included and drawn to the stands under that name, they are doing the exact opposite. 😕

But whatever, when we finally win a championship one day ( 😍 ) and conquer Europe ( 😍 ), people will talk, they really will!

The most important thing is backing your club through everything—the chanting, the displays, the organized actions, all of it. Since we’re primarily "supporters," what matters most to me is having the entire stand singing from the first whistle to the last, making the stadium shake, rather than just seeing a thousand damn choreographies while half the crowd sits there silent (except for those brief 10-15 minute bursts when the energy picks up). But it is what it is. It's unrealistic to expect much more, so one should be perfectly satisfied with this 👍

Otherwise, last night was good; the display looked great and the atmosphere was solid enough. Moving forward, Scranton 🙂
