The flare count fell short of the required 18.5 minimum! This fails to meet the passing standard, resulting in a 5-point deduction🙂🙂🙂🙂

It’s true, The Armada has its ups and downs, and right now, they are way too extreme. Honestly, looking at today's numbers—not just the quantity, but the actual "quality" of The Armada (the people showing up on the West side for small games or traveling for away matches)—it’s pretty pathetic compared to how things used to be. It’s definitely not what The Armada deserves! Look, whatever, it is what it is. Bans and restrictions have messed everything up for everyone, so that shouldn't be an excuse, but I truly believe once people move past all this nonsense, things will improve. Don't start with that "follow the ultra manual" or "who are you to set standards" crap, because let's be real: the current situation sucks! I sincerely hope and believe things will get better moving forward. Choreography is fine, we can keep that consistent, but everything else—especially our numbers—needs to go up! There's no point in denying it: The Armada hit rock bottom last year, and even in this first season since then, we aren't exactly in heaven. It's still bad.

BUT!

Kudos to the Demons "because they are a breath of fresh air" and because they grinded through those years in various small towns, but man, how can anyone even compare them to The Armada? I mean, sure, aiming higher is good... but damn it, with all this stuff on the internet nowadays, we can just look at the photos. Just because one Cohort is on the rise doesn't mean they are the best. Our numbers and theirs (at the small games) are basically equal. If anyone wants to post pictures, go ahead, but I’m not feeling it... The fact is TRAGIC for us: we fell much lower than they rose! We handle away games with more people and better energy than either group, which, let's be honest, is just how it should be. The Demons are currently at their peak, a crew that has had a strong, solid core for years, while The Armada got slapped in the face purely because we underestimated ourselves—we didn't worry enough about making sure the next San Francisco game would be handled much better, and well... damn it. You can write all you want about how we’ll ignore history; you can try to ignore it, but you can't erase it! The Demons brag about grinding through the 3rd division, while we brag about being something during those years that most people can only dream of. Look, the Puležan guys look good, they try hard, they handle away games incredibly well given their size, and the choreography and pyro are great... But they are still the Demons. They are a small group, they don't have the tradition or the long-term consistency of these kinds of setups (except maybe for a few games back in the day, but really, how can you compare the 3rd division to the 1st league? Let's see them pull off a massive show in a 3rd division matchup tomorrow!). Once they double in size and keep that momentum going for 5 or 6 seasons, then we’ll talk. Until then, this comparison between the Demons and The Armada is ridiculous... Right now (that word you guys love using so much), Cohort is at its best ever, and The Armada is performing poorly. Unfortunately, it's a fact, and there's no reason not to admit that currently, The Armada isn't better than Cohort in any way on the stands—especially when you add the enthusiasm and the momentum that Cohort has gained. They are ahead of us! I'm just hoping things change urgently, and I really hope they do.

So, go ahead, throw the stones and start the bashing because I wrote this.🙂

I'm not trying to be contrarian here, but let’s be real: the Demons definitely out-cheered us. Honestly, after spending so many years stuck in the minor leagues, showing up for the season opener at Central Park meant they were going to be loud enough to be heard all the way in Newark. Their crowd was just more hyped, and there was something about the stakes—having to step up and prove ourselves—that made the derby feel more intense. Plus, we ended up losing 6-0 because the guys on the field looked like they couldn't care less. It was honestly good that it turned out this way.😉

But seriously... It’s just constant bragging about whose dad was a firefighter versus whose dad was an astronaut... Then they get into this massive blowout where one guy claims he's basically Italian and the other starts arguing about being from Monterey... Who's actually losing it here?! 😍

Should we call 911 to clear up this misunderstanding?

They never actually release their travel expenses to the public.

For us, it’s $17... You satisfied now? You gonna go ahead and jerk off since you already screwed us over?

Cleveland just isn't interested in the Cleveland Guardians; there are no results, nothing at all to draw people out to Wrigley Field... These 2,000 or 3,000 fans showing up is way too low for a region of 300,000 people, though since a similar percentage shows up to other stadiums elsewhere, you could say the MLS rarely grabs anyone's attention, not just the folks here in Cleveland. How could Wrigley Field ever fill up? The West, North, and central sections can get pretty crowded, leaving some spots open in Center, while a good chunk of the East remains empty because of the buffer zone... Yeah, mostly. It’s a shame we can't pack every single seat, it really is...

Everything is great, everything is five stars...

It’s just that whenever I head downtown, there's this group of teenagers (under 19) hanging out in the center—kids you see everywhere, even at high school football games—who just relentlessly chant "we don't give a damn about any of you." God, the internet is something else...👎

This is the one and only American flag you're talking about:

http://i42.tinypic.com/1pw2eo.jpg

not this:

http://i41.tinypic.com/f0yqu1.gif

..that was the first one..

And as for the second thing, nobody has any right to complain. If the flags are allowed until 11, then they stay until 11; that’s what the organizer decided, and that’s how it’s going to be. If you came here to cheer, nobody's stopping you... if you want to watch handball, nobody's stopping you... anyone else just doesn't belong at an event like this. Why didn't you just put the flag back in the van and walk in without it if you actually wanted to achieve your goal of cheering..? ..because you didn't have that goal in mind..

And yeah, clearly drunk..you could've taken a breathalyzer if you were actually sober👍

..I know some people will never change, even as times move on and certain things won't exist in the future, yet they just stubbornly insist on being arrogant and acting out..and it's always at the expense of the fans..

Henry Baker said:The reality is, the ugly side of the sport has already been fully exposed by recent seasons, like getting knocked out of the UEFA preliminary rounds by Cypriots or Albanians.
And people watching "Loving Soccer" aren't tuning in for the stadium atmosphere; if they wanted that, they'd actually go to the game.
As for the USSF, they couldn't care less about the MLS as long as Markan from Canada stays in charge alongside that tabloid thief.
The clubs would probably protest, but honestly, would it even make a difference?

True, but they mask all of that by focusing on the fans, dealing with hooliganism issues, or handling UEFA fines and whatnot. But what happens when the fans aren't even there to be managed? It would be much more dangerous if the clubs themselves started an initiative—if the clubs actually turned against the Association or the first division association. Right now, we're just fighting this alone while they slowly tear us apart...

Yeah, but more than half of them would stop watching entirely if our top league looked like some local 3rd division circuit... which is exactly what it would look like if these fans staged a boycott..

They don't give a damn, unless someone finally puts an end to it..

Henry Baker said:How exactly does vacating the stands change anything?

The games would be played in front of half the crowd, in empty stadiums where you could hear every single kick and player shouting. All the ugly side of soccer would be exposed, which would totally debunk the idea that "hooligans" are the root of all evil. The whole "loving soccer" project would fall apart because nobody wants to watch matches like that... In the end, the USSF and everyone else would realize they can't survive without fans since their business model depends on them. I’d bet anything that the clubs would revolt too—specifically teams like Liverpool FC or San Francisco. Of course, the guys over at Real Madrid wouldn't bother rebelling...

Henry Baker said:Look, the goal of this new fan legislation is to clear hooligans out of the stadiums. Unfortunately, people who don't understand our culture equate "hooligans" with entire supporter groups. The average person, who has zero connection to the terrace scene, is definitely against us. They only know us through the media, which broadcasts the same negative image we all know too well. But that’s just the reality; fans are labeled the "main" problem to distract from the current state of the country. Just look at how much coverage there was regarding the chaos in Udine, while they barely mentioned the fan protests in Warsaw—which were actually quite commendable.
Simply being pushed off the stands would be a defeat. It is better to fight from the terraces with messages and unity between different groups. That is what we need right now: for all groups to unite, even if only briefly. Because if things continue this way, nobody will be able to unite ever again.😢

And what is a message actually going to achieve? We've had plenty of "messages" before, and nothing changed... Besides, the police will make sure any "intense" messaging gets shut down at the gates anyway..

Why would leaving the stands be considered a defeat when it could actually change the situation in the long run? This way, we get a temporary win, but in the long term, we'll vanish entirely (bans, jail time)...
