Why on earth would you want that? 😢

I caught you guys in person today. You're doing good. 👍 If I were in charge, nobody would be sleeping soundly tonight; there’s a real winner's vibe coming from this group. Nice.

You might see 3,500 people from Cleveland heading down to Stuttgart, much like how the stands at SoFi Stadium get packed, but let's be real—most of those folks need a massive nudge just to get out the door. The situation with the Kansas City Chiefs is its own special kind of mess, and since there’s so much heat on the mafia element right now, I think the turnout would actually be pretty decent. We aren't part of that crowd, so honestly, 😬

Either way, I think staging a protest alongside a US National Team match is a much smarter move. 🙂

It makes sense to me: if you think things are fine for you as a fan, just stay home. But personally, if you aren't willing to show up, you don't belong in the stands anymore. There might be other ways to fight back, but a protest would actually demonstrate who we are and where we stand.

It would expose how pathetic our whole scene really is.😬 I don't think I'm being unrealistic when I say a maximum turnout would be around 1,500 Bad Boys, 1,000 Torcida, 400 Armada, 250 Cohort, 150 Ultras and Demons, and maybe 300 from the smaller groups. You get roughly 3,500 people in the square. That’s it. Those are the hardcore ultras who would actually march through Chicago, and even then, I might be overestimating. To get real mass appeal, you need the masses, which means half-ultras and casual sympathizers. In the current climate, there is zero chance you'll convince anyone outside our circle to cough up the cash and time to join a fan protest. Sure, plenty of people hate the mafia, but those people also have much more important things to do with their lives than deal with some organized crime outfit.
It’ll be much easier to mobilize a crowd for a US National Team match, but whether we like it or not, without real numbers, we're finished.

Dennis Davis97 said:If now isn't the time to protest, I don't know what we're waiting for... just let them shut us down.🤷

It’s just not the right time because we lack the numbers. Expecting ten thousand people to show up is pure fantasy. Plus, the public would still view us with suspicion; some minor scandal would likely pop up immediately, grabbing all the headlines and dragging the entire protest back a step...
That's just my take on things, though I could be wrong... 🙂

I think we should all get together... Up in the stands... Regarding the national team playing in Iceland... First off, I think we could draw way more people if we actually tried. Second, this national squad is really just the icing on the cake of how rotten our football scene is right now. We should pack Yankee Stadium with supporters from all over the States—everyone standing shoulder to shoulder, roaring for the full 90 minutes. It’s a massive game, and the media coverage is going to be huge. My only concern is controlling the crowd; I'd hate for our chants and messages to get drowned out by some idiots setting off flares on the pitch or causing chaos.

That calm exit from the stands was a total slap in the face to all those idiots who were bloodily waiting for a new 1.5. era, including the turtle. They’re left there feeling unsatisfied—just a bunch of losers and slobbering wrecks.
The group just demonstrated a whole new level of strength; showing that even in a crisis, you can collectively push back against the majority's emotions. It proved the opposition isn't strong enough to break the group's unity when things get real. The stands looked ridiculous with that empty gap in the middle, and the stadium felt eerily quiet after the purge. Honestly, anyone with half a brain could see the truth behind this whole situation.

Good luck!

Muhammad Ali also mentioned that the Boston Red Sox have to play in the Lowe's tournament every single year, so his logic just doesn't add up. 🤷🤣

edit, missed this part:

Can anyone drop a link to this statement from Tim Howard? 🤷

It's a joke. 🤣 Still, the younger one is way more dim-witted than the older one. At least the older guy knows how to hold a conversation, whereas you practically need to take notes just to follow what Tim is saying.😢

Regardless of how full of holes, lies, and manipulation this whole case is, we can't turn a blind eye when it comes to Tramadol. People don't just take it for the pain.

It was for something else, but honestly, that’s irrelevant to the bigger picture. Mark is just one tiny drop in an ocean of police overreach. 😢

On a side note, I'm all for the protest, provided people stay cautious.

James Smith48 said:When fans boycott national team games, they’re actually doing the federation leadership a favor, because the people will still show up to support the players regardless of who's in the stands.
However, boycotting the federation itself is a different beast entirely, and you have to be careful about shouting into the void.

Wise words.

Who’s telling you he hasn't already mobilized his massive army of outsiders and paid-off thugs just waiting to strike during the next election? There's plenty more drama coming...

To wrap up my thoughts on this thread (since I can already see the drooling losers hunched over their monitors, munching on Cheetos and typing with greasy fingers on their pathetic little setups), I had a dream last night where Jerry Jones was featured on a nightly news broadcast discussing how he single-handedly employed 1.2 million people from across the entire United States. They even showed some chart where he sat at the very top for job creation initiatives 🤣 That’s it.

Casey Gomez3 said:The Forbes exposé is just a distraction. All those professors who were taking kickbacks before the investigation are still doing it now. They’re completely unchecked.

First off, that's not how it works. Sure, maybe a few individuals are still taking bribes, but I know firsthand that this whole thing really shook the academic community. It's not just that they stopped taking money—some actually lost their jobs because of it. In this day and age, you can't afford to take that kind of risk. 😉
Second, the Forbes story itself isn't even the point here. My only goal was to show how quickly they could process hundreds of people, yet in Mamic's case, they can't even pin one guy down in a year and a half. I’m not just questioning the Secretary's competence; I'm suggesting there are deeper interests at play and that Mamic is woven into a much wider circle of influence than we realize. 🙂

@Alex Barrett3/">@@Alex Barrett3, you can look at it that way if you want to be optimistic, 🙂 but I refuse to wait around for Mamic to leave while we all sit here in doubt. This feels like a scenario where politics or public pressure will eventually force him to step down himself just to avoid prison, which to me is just a cop-out. I don't want Mamic walking away from American soccer in his Bentley; I want him gone in handcuffs.
Because what does it matter if he calls a press conference tomorrow, pulls an act like George W. Bush, and announces he's leaving the sport? Nothing. He'll just retreat into the shadows to handle shady management deals, staying close to Tony Hawk and Vrbanovic (who have the Secretary's blessing 🤦), leaving his octopus-like grip deep within American soccer. We'll be right back where we started.
If Mamic leaves tomorrow but Suker and Vrbanovic stay behind, then American fans and Jovanovic haven't achieved anything at all. I hope that's clear to everyone.

Alex Barrett3 said:Priorities exist, and some things just don't happen overnight regardless of how much we want them to, but things are finally starting to move in the direction we're all waiting for. To put it in soccer terms, it's slow build-up. He won't be there by the first snowfall.

Look, here's the reality: the Department of Education has to remove an elite club president from the sports scene—someone who is blatantly and "transparently" breaking the law in multiple ways. By removing him, they win huge points with the general public, and frankly, it's in their best interest to get it done. If that's the situation—and it is—why is Johnson or the entire administration waiting a year and a half just to boot one guy out of the sports world? This guy is clearly violating the law right in front of everyone's eyes in America, yet practically no concrete action is being taken. It’s all just empty talk and posturing.

Someone, for whatever reason, is stalling the whole operation. Is it an incompetent Secretary who can't manage to remove an obvious criminal and liar—who happens to be playing the politicians like a fiddle—or is it due to some behind-the-scenes interests and Mamic's connections to a much wider circle of people than we know, ask God. There is a reason.

Over the last year, we've seen various investigations, like the ones run by Index, where they managed to sift through hundreds of people, dozens of universities, files, accounts, perpetrators, and witnesses in record time. They didn't just look into it; everything went through the courts and people were actually convicted.
So you have to wonder: if they could resolve hundreds of cases and lock people up in less than a year, why can't they apply that same logic to one damn person? It’s obvious that Mamic is in league with enough people to influence even someone like Johnson.

Jesse Campbell said:Well, we'll see if I'm right...

You guys were all laughing at me yesterday when I said inspections were coming soon... ☕☕☕☕☕

Time is pretty relative in this country, and since The Cabinet moves at a snail's pace, it doesn't really matter if significant measures aren't passed overnight... But timing isn't even the main issue here.

If timing isn't the point, then stop using phrases like "soon," "by the end of the month," or "in 2-4 weeks." That's exactly why people don't take you seriously. Everything else you say might be true, but people are impatient, and your optimism regarding when Mamić & Co. will fall is just irritating them. They’ll leave whenever politics decides they're done. Look, this inspection sounds great on paper, but they’ll just find the same old irregularities at, say, Real Madrid. And then what? They hand those findings over to the Secretary. Then what? He’ll order them to fix the issues within six months. If they don't fix them, then what? Will they seal the doors of the civic association? 🤷 Will they send the FBI in to handle it? What actually happens after they confirm the violations?
Most importantly, none of this is happening in less than six months. That's just realistic thinking. And realistically, Mamic won't be gone until at least the start of next season. At least not until then.

A year ago, you were also saying "soon." Listen, that wasn't exactly "soon." You really messed that one up. 🙂

Ethan Palmer57 said:Do you guys honestly think an inspection is going to squeeze anything out of Mamić? He’s already prepping for them, while our minister is making a massive scene about draining the marshlands. I don't know, I get the feeling that anyone who tries to step on his heels is going to run straight into this investigation.

That's all just games for people who want to believe the hype. Anyone with half a brain or a shred of logic knows the truth: if Jovanovic or the federal agencies actually wanted to take down Mamic, they would have done it within a month.
If they ever decide to go after him, it won't be because of some long-term investigation—it'll be because the people in power made a snap decision to pull the plug.
They aren't too incompetent to get rid of him if they actually had the guts to try.
