Nancy Sanchez31 said:I honestly don't hold a grudge against Prodanović at all. I think people are just becoming a bit too sensitive to provocations lately, which I guess is exactly why this whole woke-cancel culture atmosphere keeps gaining momentum.
To be completely honest, I’m rooting for Rijeka and Dinamo to lose every single match—and that goes for their youth teams, too. Juniors, cadets, pioneers... I don't care. I just want them to drop everything.
Honestly, I wouldn't mind if we just lost every single international match and championship final. To be perfectly blunt, I couldn't care less about coefficient rankings or whatever technicalities those analysts obsess over. It just doesn't matter to me.

🤣

That's what needs to happen, instead of these weaklings who take offense at every little thing.

That’s not my concern.

The only real difference is that Prlja is way more famous and influential than those other guys, so that's really it... Now carry on.👍

That's one way to look at it.

But to me, the much bigger difference lies in the circumstances that trigger these kinds of outbursts. This media terror we deal with here? It doesn't exist anywhere else. Someone might say, "Who cares about TV or news sites? Just shut it all down and go take a walk on the beach." And hey, that's a valid response, but whether you like it or not, we're stuck with this media landscape. Imagine being forced to read and listen to nothing but news about some soccer club's junior team from the crack of dawn... 🙏 Look, I get they're a powerhouse, but this is straight-up terror. When someone is terrorizing and harassing you like this, it's only natural that people will snap and overreact.

Those links you shared? They were reacting under totally different circumstances where a team like F.C. Portland wasn't even in their way—they just wanted to pick a fight out of pure spite, nothing more.

These guys have occupied basically everything (😁) and they're actually bragging about it. They want more. That's unheard of. I can't think of a single country in the world where an entire nation is held hostage by a single soccer club or its fan base. Seriously, find me one country where the juniors of one club and all the hype surrounding a single youth match occupy the entire national media space. Go ahead, try.
Sure, a lead sports story is fine—I support that. A long feature during the evening news? Totally fine. Taking over the entire sports section for a day? No problem. Anything within those bounds is normal because sports are great, and you have to respect what those kids achieved.
But man, what's happening now isn't healthy, and if the Portland fans had any backbone, they should be the first ones standing against it.

Though I don't expect them to push back. Instead, they'll just bask in it, enjoying their privilege and the fact that they've taken over everything. And when people complain? Well, the big shots will just ask, "What's it to you? Who cares if we're a small, underdog club instead of a massive empire?" 🙂

Let's just hope we don't uncover that power... or some kind of Dark Side🙂

It isn't easy against an empire.

Left egg, right egg.

First, you had the ref give Hajduk a totally clean slate while handing Livaja three yellows just to kick him off the pitch at the stadium—then there’s that suspicious penalty in the cup against Slaven, all just so they can clear the path for fourth place and a European spot. And now, today’s match against Gorica... I guess the corporate machine is working overtime...

Wednesday, 2.70 on a penalty—it's a lock for the week.👍

I mean, even Ristovski pulled it off, for crying out loud.

Well deserved, hosts. This was probably one of the worst performances since Jakir arrived. If we had actually converted those two breakaway chances in the first half where we were one-on-one with the keeper, this game might have been a much smoother ride.
That penalty on Frigan wasn't even called, and the ref didn't even bother to check VAR... 🙏 Absolute garbage officiating.

On to the next one.

That explains a lot—why things were looking so unnatural and acting so weird. But it’s all good, man, times are getting more tolerant every day.

Well, look, the smarter ones among them have known that all along, but you still need some excuse for the failure. Dealing with internal and external enemies is basically part of the curriculum in those systems of theirs. 😉 It’ll keep going next season, and the one after that, before things finally start to fall apart...

We’ve just been sitting here snacking on popcorn and laughing at them for ages. 🍿

Have they finally stopped crying and throwing tantrums? Maybe they have—someone gave them a pacifier and now they're just busy watching the kids.
MLS 2022/23 Season: Part 2 in Soccer ·
The only thing you can count on is their constant whining. It doesn't matter if they get a penalty call or not, or whether the head of the Federation is someone who needs a reality check or just another one of their cronies being shaken hands with... the complaining is the only constant. And then there's the endless trash-talking directed at Mišković, even though he's done more for the good of the club than they have in the last twenty years. ☕

Whining. ☕

I feel the exact same way—back before VAR existed, you guys were always at the top of the list for getting gifted penalties.

Susan Cooper7 said:Does anyone else realize they’re basically just handing themselves another reason to look foolish with these penalty stats? It’s like watching someone try to argue their way out of a hole while they're still actively digging it. They’re essentially providing all the evidence needed to prove they were wrong from the start. Haha.

Before the era of VAR, we were constantly pointing out how much we were getting shortchanged by the officiating. It wasn't just our imagination, either—it was an open secret. Players from opposing teams knew exactly what they were doing; they’d use every dirty trick in the book to disrupt the flow and shut down our attacks before they could even get started.
So, what actually happened there? They finally brought in VAR, and it turns out we were right all along.

I suspect that if we look ahead a year or two, things will start to level out. Once the opposing teams truly wrap their heads around how much more oversight there is with VAR, they’ll realize they can't just pull those blatant, obvious fouls against us like they used to. It's like when a new set of traffic cameras gets installed on a busy highway—drivers eventually stop testing the limits because they know they're being watched. Eventually, they'll have to play by the book against us, just like they already do against everyone else, and I expect that number of questionable penalties will finally start to drop.

So how do you explain this then? 🍿

Richard Johnson86 said:If one looks back at the era before VAR became the standard, it becomes quite apparent that Hajduk was frequently the beneficiary of penalty calls, seeing more of them than anyone else in those recent seasons.

Good for you, hanging out with those Fuckers... 🤣 This example perfectly captures how little you guys actually understand about these situations. You honestly can't see past your own noses. It’s sad, really. Because of all this propaganda—stuff even Eastern European regimes wouldn't be ashamed of—you actually have people here who think the Fuckers are some major player in Crimea or in any major US city. Or that there's some deep-seated feud between local fans and the Orient supporters. It's unbelievable. You do the exact same thing with these stories about "terrifying" Demons or those pathetic Funcutis needing a couple of buses from the Boys just to pull off a flare show.
At the end of the day, you still have people claiming this city is crawling with Mexicans, when half of them making that claim probably trace their roots back to some historic Mexican villages in California.
